I have a very narrow foot, and this style fits very well, and is comfortable. The style is perfect - no thong or ankle strap, yet the sandal feels very secure on my foot. It will look great with lots of my summer clothing.

The toe at the sole came up too high and interfered with my toes.

I love these shoes! Always a go to over the years for all day comfort.

These look really cute, but they rub terribly (even after loosening the straps) on top of my feet and cause blisters.

I really wanted to love these. They are so cute and would look great with a skort or casual dress. However, the fit was very small (I have worn Birkenstocks for years and am always a 39) and they are difficult to walk in given where the straps fall. There's no way I could wear them out for the day. Had to send them back.

I have very thin feet and the straps on these were too loose. I have been wearing the narrow fit Mayari but Birkenstock no longer has them in narrow so my search for the perfect fit sandal continues!

This is my 15th pair of Birkenstock, I love them so much! But, this gold sandal YAO is disappointing. It rubs on the base of my big toes on top and is causing blisters! The fit is definitely not like the usual Birkenstock! Looks pretty but doesn’t fit properly!

Just didn’t feel right. Hard to tighten the buckles. Felt like they were going to rub on top. Disliked so much I didn’t even put the sec shoe on amd walk around the house.

I normally wear the regular "wide" width in Birks but thought I would try these since I can easily wear narrows but these are just too narrow in the toe box. They rubbed against my pinky toes and I don't see them loosening up any so these are going back.

Super cute and the more narrow fit was good for me but the footbed material is almost slick. After trying them on for 5 min I could tell they would rub and end up being uncomfortable. Luckily Zappos has great returns so back they went.

This ran really small and did not fit.

Was hoping I could rock a narrow. But alas, I'm a regular! Nice shoes otherwise. Had hoped they'd be more beige than GRAY. I'll keep looking. Also, in the regular I might have been able to cinch down the straps a bit. They are on the 'loose' side when walking (they flap more than other Birks.)

I wear size a 8 and a 1/2 and I bought the 39 and it's too big and too wide. Going back

The beds of these were comfortable, but the tops kept digging into my foot and leaving cuts. Even when I loosened the top thinking it was the size, I would end up with small cut on top of my foot. I kept on thinking I just had to break them in, but after many short dog walks, the cuts persisted. Maybe the shoe is too heavy for where the straps are?

Well, I love Birkenstocks, and this pair is super cute and stylish. However, as some others have said, the narrow is still too wide for my narrow foot. Also, they are so very stiff that it hurts to walk in them without socks. I’m wearing them every day with socks on, hoping they will loosen up and become more comfortable, like my old pair are!

These have been my least favorite Birkenstock sandals to try. While the foot is secure in them, the straps are not comfortable in their placement. Recovering from plantar fasciitis, these are not comfortable in the foot bed for me. This brand is one that is suggested by my Orthopedic PA.

These are substantially more narrow than my last pair, but are just OK. It took some adjusting to get the straps right. At first when I walked my foot was coming down on top of the edge of the cork. Had to make much tighter than my last ones to be able to walk and then can't wear thick socks. Also irritated my foot at the juncture of the top strap and buckle strap below my toe. I am concerned about how long these are going to last. My last ones made it 30 years!

I did not notice until I received these that I had ordered a narrow. They are not comfortable for my average size foot. But the regular size is not available.

Runs true to size. Too narrow for my slightly wide foot. This Birkenstock just felt very cheap. I questioned whether it was a fake. The lining was cheap & synthetic not leather. There was also excessive glue in multiple spots. The sole felt stiff and hard. Very disappointed. I thought it was such a cute more feminine design, but poorly made or fake.

These won’t be a favorite pair of mine. The fit is not as comfortable as my other pair (Florida) of Birkenstocks. My toes hit the front of those shoe (same size as other pair) and the first time I wore these, the tops of my feet got scratched from the straps. I think they are cute and will wear them, just not all the time. I hope they will break in otherwise I will wear them when I don’t have to walk much.

To make the straps tight enough, there is too long a piece hanging dowm. Cutting it off would be unsightly. These are not really adaptable to a narrow fit.

The leather was flimsy. I wish they had this in a sturdier version, with more neutral colors (that weren't fake leather). I wasn't impressed with the shimmery blue. Returned.

Very cute shoe. However, the birko flor isn't my jam. For the price, the shoe felt super flimsy. I ordered my usual smaller size show and the Yao still felt a lilttle big and loose. I returned them and went with another style. I will say I LOVE MY GIZEHS!

I should have read more about these before I bought them, loved the style, but the silver looked and felt “plastic-y” to me so I returned them.

These are cute, but feel plastic-y and are squeaky. They I’m a size 7 and got the 38, and they were slightly big, but I wouldn’t order a size down. The biggest issue for me is that regardless of how I tightened the straps I would shuffle around, which is annoying.
