Comfortable, with good support and a nice overall look

This is a beautiful, elegant design, however, it is very hard to keep the shoe on your foot as it tends to slip off - there is no real grip from the straps across front. I hope they can remedy the design without losing its elegance. I don't want to see another strap around the back of the ankle to anchor it to foot, but it needs a re-design. It is very flattering on but you can't get far in it. I stood in it at the store for a long time admiring how elegant it looked on, but alas, I had to leave it fearing I might break an ankle or fall if the shoe slipped off while walking. I even bought it again from Zappos and returned it fearing the same. The white and taupe colors looked particularly good on pale feet. I was not as fond of the black. The sophisticated and flattering design was more prominent in the other colors.

Very cute but a but uncomfortable to wear all day teaching.

I was so excited about a rose gold Birkenstock and I loved this new, strappier look. My bad, I didn't notice they were narrow. I could've made them work but I felt like I had to grip really hard to keep them on. I'm not sure if that's due to the strap design or because the footbed felt like plastic. They're white, not the usual suede and were very hard and shiny. They may have softened up with wear, but the whole thing just wasn't working. They're going back and I'll stick with my favorite Mayari style.

The fit felt normal but the feel of this style felt different from their usual sandals. They are very attractive and regret returning but have arthritic feet and it was necessary. Probably a great shoe for normal feet.

My last Birky's were well worn so these felt stiff and unyielding for the first few days Didn't like the feel of the raised insole under my toes, more so on my right foot then left. The feel of the underside of the straps were a little rough at first. After about a week they have conformed to my feet and are just like my trusty old Birk's. I really like the look of this new style. Mine are in black and my pair seem to be well made, no glue or unfinished edges showing.

LOVE this color, but wish it came in other styles. This style isn't something I normally gravitate too. Tried to love like me other Birks, but couldn't. Toes kept sliding forward even on the tightest setting.

I liked the shoe, however I ordered the shiny black & it’s was just too shiny for my liking & I returned.

These are great. I had to return the first pair due to sizing. I usually wear a 6/6.5 so I purchased the 37. They ended up being too long but the narrow width was great. I sent those back and got a 36 which are perfect. I do prefer the soft footbed birks out of the box but once these are worn in I like them just as much.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks because when they were first popular, I was in college and I thought the original sandal was just too "crunchy granola"; now that there are so many more styles, I decided to try a pair as I am coming out of a post-op boot and will need a shoe that is easy to slip into. I love the look of these sandals. I am hoping the famous Birkenstock sole is as comfortable as I've heard because these seem very hard.

cute style; why narrow? I knew this was narrow and have other Birkenstock narrows. I'm hoping to get past the blister curve and come to love this shoe.

The style is very nice looking and dressier than the standard Birkenstock. The loops around the upper foot were just too high on the arch for me and had to return due to possible blistering if worn for extended period of time. LOVE the color options available though.

I love the color. My only negative consideration is how flimsy the metal fittings have become.

I got blisters when I first wore these, but they're so cute, I just got some bandaids. After breaking them in, they are so comfortable. I get compliments whenever I wear them. Love these!!

They fit well but they are a little narrow!

I really liked these EXCEPT for the white sole. I wish the sole had been black. Then I would have kept them. Otherwise the silver sandal was very nice and fit true to size in a 39 Narrow. I am a 8.5 medium width shoe size. With Birkenstock the Narrow width is equivalent to USA medium width, so I like that a few Birkenstock styles come in Narrow.

I love the look but returned them because I needed more support.

Had to return because it cut a place on the top of my foot just in wearing them around the house to try them out. I loosened the top strap and it did not help. I think the material not being real leather was part of the problem. Very sad to return them because they looked fantastic with black dress slacks.

I usually wear a 38N in Birkis and these were no exception. They were pretty sweet right out of the box, but as all Birkenstocks, after wearing for a few hours they really feel comfy. A bit dressier because of the patent leather, they will go nicely with slacks and skirts.

I ended up having to return the shoes and I am so sad as they looked so nice. I'm a loyal Birkenstock fan and have had my pair of Boston's and Granada's for years with no problem. I noted that the shoes were marked as narrow and I thought it would be alright. I was wrong. They were very narrow and felt a bit shorter than my two other pairs in a size 42. Sadly they would not work and I had to return the shoes. Now looking for another pair of birks to add to my growing closet.

I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to keep these. I think they look great and they are okay comfort-wise, but don't feel nearly as good as expected. Not exactly what I was expecting. Maybe it's the style and I should have gone with a sueded footbed? Jury is out on this pair.

I've had several pairs of Granada and Mayari before. I love being able to walk in comfort in the summer heat. These are my first Yao. I like the narrow fit although can't quite decide which buckle setting I need. They feel potentially like they'll be really comfy and I'm hoping the white color holds up well. I have high hopes, they're looking good so far!

These sandals are adorable! Love the weathered finish and the Easter-egg-aqua color. I wish they had fit better . . . had to send them back. Usually the narrow size fits my average feet just fine. This style felt a bit narrower than usual in the toes. Also, the cross-straps dug into the top of my foot a little bit and allowed the back of the sole to slap like a flip-flop. It would have been better if the straps had come up higher on my foot. I need to do some real walking at work and in everyday life, so any shoe or sandal that's the least bit uncomfortable doesn't deserve space in my closet. Thank you, Zappos, for your more-than-generous easy return policy.

I finally own a pair of Birkenstocks because these are narrow enough to fit my, not quite a narrow, not quite a B width, feet. Very cute too. I hope they re eerything people say they are.
