I love this top. I live in Southern California where a warm-weather shirt is a year-round shirt. I hike a few times a week and I have tried button-up hiking shirts and short-sleeve workout tops and none have worked as well as the Echo Hoodie. My favorite things about it are it's SPF 15 sun protection and amazing breathability. It is so breathable because it's fabric is full of fine holes which makes it basically opaque mesh. The long sleeves do a great job of protecting my skin from the sun. I hiked in full sun the other day and my bare legs were hotter from the sun than my covered arms. The other features are great too: hoodie keeps out the sun and wind and has a hole for my ponytail, and the cuffs turn into mittens to protect your hands from the sun or keep them warm in a sudden downpour. The cut is fantastic as well and hugs the body--I have never hand a problem with it riding up or twisting while wearing a daypack. I followed the sizing guide measurements and it fits true to size. My next hiking shirt will be another one of these.

I LOVE this sun hoody!!! So lightweight, breezy and offers great sun protection. I sized up because I like my sun hoodies loose for warmer days. I wear it all the time for sunny backcountry ski days, hiking, climbing, trail runs. It's my go-to adventure top for warm days.

My wife wears the Echo Hoodie almost daily on trail walks, riding her bike, and walking the neighborhood. She loves it!

Love it! Main use is a base layer for backcountry skiing. It is so lightweight but protects from the sun.

This hoodie is my ideal base layer. It is super light and wicks moisture well. I love the hood for crispy days where a hat is just too warm. It even has a hole for your pony tail which both useful and makes me laugh. I won't adventure with any other base layer

Material is real lightweight, which I like. Xsm fits well. Not skin tight, not too baggy. 5'5 123 lbs, small chest, muscular build.

Fits well, was not sure between small or medium (5'4" 145 lbs, 34" bust) but I went small and it's cut great. The coral colour is super flattering too. Was worried about a thin, structureless hood as they usually look terrible when down and stick to your head weird, but this one is pretty good! Hand covers are kind of awkward if you're pulling it inside out... Once you figure them out it's all good though. Only complaint is it is so light it's durability is a little low. Just wanted to write a review because I really like it! Would buy again

This is my favorite hoodie of all time. The details make it great - the extra-long cuffs you can pull and fold over to make your sleeves into mittens? GENIUS. I've been using this as a base layer in New Hampshire's White Mountains (base temperatures for the past several hikes have ranged from 10-30 degrees Fahrenheit; summit temps 10-20 degrees cooler than that, and winds anywhere from 10-30mph), and it keeps me dry and comfy, and if I need a little extra warmth, but not full-on mittens, I can use those cuffs; if it's not cold enough for my warm hat, I use this hood. It's so thin that I can easily add more layers. The color is beautiful too, and it doesn't get stinky when I get sweaty! I wish I'd ordered one in every color while they were in stock!

I obviously love the echo line because I now have a tank top, three t-shirts, and one hoodie. I love how quick drying the fabric is. Normally I would wear a tank top all summer, but I like having the light protection under mountain bike or trail running pack straps. The medium is true to size. I am 5'10" and 147 lbs and it fits me well all over, including in sleeve length. The Chambray/Twilight is sort of a denim/cornflower blue color.

So far I have used this hoodie hiking in the desert in mid-80 degree weather and it was fantastic! It's super lightweight and barely feels like you're wearing long sleeves, yet provides great protection from the sun. My favorite part is the pony tail hole in the hood. Genius! I can't tell you how many times I've been on alpine climbs when the wind is whipping and I want my hood on, but my braid is either flapping in my face or sitting uncomfortably down my back. I love this hoodie. I plan on using it mostly on alpine and glacier climbs, as well as regular hiking adventures. The fold over "mittens" are a nice feature as well either for keeping sun off your hands or providing a little extra warmth in cooler weather. Initially, I was concerned the dark color wouldn't be optimal for the heat, but I quickly found this was not a problem at all. I am 5'4" and a slim build and the small was perfect for me. It's not skin tight and not too loose either. Well-designed and optimal performance. Great job, OR!

I keep buying these shirts and now have multiple in every style, because they are just that good! The long sleeve versions are light enough to still wear on hot sunny days, so they are my shirt of choice for long alpine missions - saves me from putting on so much sunscreen (or the pain for when I forget)! The hood is nice as well, especially for snow/glacier outings.

Again, I love all Echo products. My only issue is how dark the pewter is - I wish a lighter color had been available when I purchased this shirt. Overall I've been underwhelmed at the color options, and availability of sizes/colors for purchase.

I don't know why I waited so long to buy the Echo Hoodie- maybe I had never truly looked at the specs, but this shirt is SO lightweight. It's the perfect extra layer for a morning run when it's chilly but the sun is out, great for a beach or river coverup, and perfect for mountaineering. I don't mind the lack of thumb holes, but that's a personal preference and I love the long sleeves and tight hood. Bye bye greasy sunscreen!

Love this shirt! Lightweight, comfortable layer perfect for cooler paddles, running, and cycling. I am 5'6 and 135-150 lbs and happy with a medium fit. Can easily put a tank underneath.

My wife uses this piece at the beach and for running and outdoor yoga. She loves these echo hoodies and has several. One came with a hole in it but we never got a chance to send it back before it was too late. She still uses it. The material is very light and breathable. This is a trade off between airy and SPF. It's very airy but with low SPF. A higher SPF wouldn't make it as breathable. She uses them at the beach though and has never been sunburned while wearing one.

This is my new favorite shirt for running, cycling, hiking, working outside, pretty much any aerobic activity. The fit is very good for an athletic build, I am 5'7" with wide shoulders, but I don't have any excessive snugness in the upper arms or shoulders. The fabric is pretty lightweight but it's a good layering fabric and I like the texture.

This is my third Echo Hoodie and will always continue to buy, color is awesome and hope that OR will come out with more lighter shades. Cooling and breathable, dries very quickly and protects my arms on exposed hikes. I am 5'6 and 130lbs, the medium fits loose. I also have the hoody in the small and wear that one when I want a tighter fit.
