great everyday summer short

I bought the ferrosi shorts in both 5" and 7" lengths. I love the longer ones for biking and added sun protection while the shorter ones are slightly cooler but don't feel too short for hiking etc. I wore these as back-up board shorts for surfing and they beaded water for about 20 minutes until they starting soaking through (20 minutes of literal swimming in them). Once I was done, they dried within a half hour. BEWARE - they do fit smaller than other OR products. I have been a solid 6 in most OR bottoms, except I followed the advice of others and bumped up to a size 8 for both shorts. Perfect fit and yes they are a slimming more tight-fitting style. This does NOT hamper their performance, however. I am 5'9" and 155lbs, muscular build. I plan to buy them in every colour!!!!!

I love the Ferrosi fabric - I have the skort and pants already. The shorts are somehow better. The only thing I don't super love is the size of the zip pocket, but all of the other pockets are roomy and wonderful (a unicorn in women's shorts it seems.) The length is great and I plan on getting more so that I can wear them at work. I have the curry color currently and I feel like it ups my coolness factor.

I love these shorts. Finally a pair of shorts for women with functional pockets and a decent length. They fit very nice and stretch around areas that need it.

These are the most comfy shorts I own. They're flattering and the blue color is great.

These are very comfortable and great for hiking and travel. I highly recommend.

These are a great short in hot weather, as they are light weight. have stretch to them and dry quick if you get them wet. I really like the zipper pocket. I am 5', 112 pounds and wear a size 4 in this style short as a need a little more room for my athletic size thighs.

I use these shorts for hiking and casual wear.

Love these shorts ! They stay put as I rode my bike and hiked all day long and they dry very quick after jumping in a creek! Love just love these

Wore recently on a backcountry canoe trip, fit so well and moved comfortably when paddling and portaging. Super light so the few splashes I got on them dried quickly.

Despite other negative reviews of the new update on the short.....I LOVE THESE. I love love love the tight fit...they are so cute. I am a flight instructor and work outside most of the day, in a very hot airplane with little ventilation. These shorts make the sweat dry easily and quickly, and look really good with the rest of my uniform. People always me where I get my shorts from. I love that i can fit my keys in the small side pocket and I can fit my phone in my pocket too, I have an iPhone 7 Plus and the phone fits completely in the pocket. Im also an avid clumsy coffee drinker and constantly seem to be spilling coffee on myself. These shorts handle coffee spillage quite magnificently. The coffee beads up and I can just swipe it right off and thats that. So wonderful. I would not recommend these to someone who doesn't like a tight fit. These shorts are basically skin-tight.

These shorts fit great and will be perfect for my upcoming hiking trip to Montenegro. I bought online and while that is always risky, they fit perfect. Wearing them right now!

I recently purchased 3 pairs of ferosi shorts because I loved the first 2 so much! They are great fir any adventure you can think of, but esp. good for hiking, biking or kayaking and they are great for warm weather environments. Love these and wkuld buy more if OR offered new colors. Highly recommend!

These are really comfy lightweight shorts to wear. They fold up small and are great for traveling. I also like the zipper pocket, sure comes in handy. The shorts are light weight, stretchy, and comfy to hike in. Perfect to wear on a hot day. They also dry fast if you get them wet. I am 5' and weigh between 110 and 112 pounds and purchased a size 4. I suggest that If you have slightly bigger thighs I would go a size up.

I work outside at a nature center. I love love these shorts! Stretchy, comfortable and very cute. I can wear these to work, hiking, camping, to the beer garden or any place else.

I love the fabric of the Ferrosi line. It is extremely comfortable and great for fieldwork! Sizing can seem to run a little small. I usually wear a size 6, but I moved up to a size 8 in all of my Ferrosi pants. (5'2", 140lbs)

So comphy and dry quickly. I'm getting them in all the colors!

I love these short although the legs are tighter than I imagined they would be especially because the waist fits loosely. I really like the material and they are still comfy

Like other reviewers I had to size up 2 sizes because the legs are so tight. I don't consider my thighs to be large but I am physically active. I've never had issues fitting into any other pant or short, except for these. Thankfully there is a drawstring at the waist to cinch it down to your size. Besides that fit issue-these are my 2nd pair and I love them. Comfortable, durable, and great for summer.

These are a great all day ready for summer adventure shorts that also look good strolling around the city. These shorts stretch with our movement, hold up to light rain, and dry quickly. I am 5 foot 6 inches and 130 lbs and should have gotten a smaller pair.

I love all of my Ferrosi shorts. Would like to see more colors and vibrant shades.

I love these shorts and wear them a lot. They are comfortable & quick dry. The only downside is the material does get a little pily quickly for outdoor gear that you can be a little rough with. Regardless, I love them and definitely recommend them.

I've worn these shorts around for some walks and such and took them on a backpacking trip. They are super comfy material and I like the drawstring for adjusting as I lose water weight on the trail. I have these in an 8 and the Ferrosi pants in a 6. The shorts feel like skinny shorts and seem to taper at the bottom though I'm definitely in the athletic (bigger) thighs category. Plenty of room to navigate over and under objects though.

Love these shorts! Perfect length, light material, and dry easily. True to size not like the 5" which are a bit on the tighter size.
