I haven't bought hiking pants in years because none of them fit me - I have wide low hips, small long waist, full thighs, and short legs. So I didn't think this was going to work ordering these online. It fits, which is exciting, but I'm used to wearing loose fitting clothing so this tighter fitting style is new for me. I sized it for my hips. The combination of stretchy fabric and drawstring helps to keep the gap in check. The only thing that's not perfect for me is that it's slightly tight around my thighs, just a little restricting.

This is my second pair of Ferrosi pants. This style runs a bit smaller than my first pair (with elastic cord at the ankle), so I had to size up one size. The curry color is fun and they are great pants for hiking or travel.

Super comfy, thin, and durable! I wish that these has that elastic belt that the men's pant has because I am not a fan of the inner shoelace belt. Elastic bottoms and pockets are super useful though and I will get a lot of good field days in with these

Love the material! Love the color (curry)! Love that it comes in short!! I'm short from belly button to crotch as well as in leg length so the pants sag a bit in the crotch. Not quite the best fit but have hiked in them and love them so won't return!

The fit of these pants has changed this year. I have bought these pants for many years and loved them for travel, work, hiking. Now the fit is slimmer and i had to exchange to size up. Beware those who have been a fan of these and size up

These are great, lightweight technical pants. The long size is great for a 34" inseam. I wish they were available in more colors. The fabric is lightweight and great for desert adventures but does get beaten up quicker than I'd like. I own both colors and bought the Ferosi knicker because I like their functionality. Fit is true to size.

I had always thought the original Ferrosi were juuuuuust too short to be comfortable, so I was excited when they came out with long sizing and updated style. The sizing with OR has always vexed me, but I was optimistic that finally these would be right.... wrong! They are, in my opinion, WAY too small to be a 6. I am a size 6 in nearly everything I try on or purchase, and these were grossly too small. Even if they stretch, I would never feel comfortable wearing them in public, let alone being comfortable enough to work in them, which is what I need them for. The only upside is that they seem to be more stylish cut than the old Ferrosi pants, which I always thought were a bit lame looking, but got the job done. Will definitely be returning these, and unsure if I will purchase an 8.

Recommend size up. Super tight non stretchy waist and the pant legs are a very odd fit ..I am 5'1 120lbs.

These pants were not my jam. I'm a short, curvy lady and the pants were too tight in all the wrong places. Also, the fabric is quite thin.

I ordered a pair of Outdoor Research Ferrosi Pants in black, but received a tan pair of Prana Halle pants.
