Super comfy, and great stretch, I'm super excited about these pants. The adjustable tie inside the waistband is great for customizing fit so I don't have to wear a belt. I have the problem where is something fits my hips it tends to be too big in the waist - but not with these pants! They are light weight, and nicely wind and water resistant, great for dealing with the ever changing weather.

i am 5'4" and the short fit perfectly! Amazing movement and stretch in the pants. Durable yet lightweight material that stands up to snags, impact, hiking over boulders and scraping against rocks. As a geologist I can be on my knees digging or looking at rocks and these have held up great in the knee area without getting a hole.

Nicely made pants, lightweight for the summer temps, fast drying. I like that they are available at different lengths. I'm 5'4' and short works.

Wife loves them! Comfortable, look good, and excellent on hikes and around the farm!

I'm 5'6" 150 with big thighs and small waist. Generally it's quite challenging to get pants that fit my body as my butt is usually a 12 and my waist an 8. These were a great compromise. The length is perfect in the short version which is nice not having to roll them up. The waist is still about 1/2- 1" baggy but the draw cord helps pull it in, they're not tight in the legs, so for me this is a win!! Love the color, love the weight, and love the stretch.

I love the Ferrosi pants and just ordered another pair. They are light and super comfortable. I wear them on hikes.

Size 6 was a perfect fit (5.5 and 135lbs, athletic build - I usually wear a 6 in Prana and Patagonia pants). They are comfortable, breathable, and have already proven that they will hold up well. The soft material inside the waistband is a really nice touch and I LOVE this color.

I absolutely love this color, it is so bold! I get so many compliments on them. I am 5'4", 165 and the 10 short fits me perfectly! The length is perfect. I love everything about these, the material is amazing (wind and water resistant). They feel cool on hot days and warm on cool nights.

this is my 1st OR pants, and I gotta say that I love it, especially the beautiful curry color! I hike mountains above 3000 meters, and I need colorful clothing to cheery me up along the way. A regular dark blue, gray and black hiking pant are just not an option for me. With the semi-wind resistant and semi-water resistant ability, this pant is great for summer and early fall. I really love the cut, it doesn't restrain my calves. The fabric is stretchable so I don't feel any discomfort when I bend my knees. The pockets are deep. for colder days, I think I can layer a wool tights with no problem. But I definiely would love to invest in a winter version pants with thicker fabric and stronger wind and water proofing, and in curry color. Do they also sell this? I also love the short leg version! thank you for thinking about us.

I never write reviews, but I had to write one for these amazing updated Ferrosi pants! I have worn Ferrosi pants for over ten years and have over a dozen pairs in different colors but they are the older model. I recently gained some weight around the "middle" and was not happy with the way my old Ferrosi's were fitting. I decided to try the updated version and I am so excited with my purchase. I love that the interior waist cinching cord is now elastic. It makes it so much easier to customize the waist size! Also, when using the bathroom I can simply leave the elastic tied because I can slip my pants over my hips without any problems.I also love that the updated Ferrosi's are narrower in the lower leg, the old Ferrosi's were too wide and sloppy for my liking.I did size up from a 6 to an 8 and they are perfect! I also bought it in short. I am 5 foot 4 inches and the length is perfect!. Please don't stop making these pants! I will be buying many more pairs. I wear these everyday.

I absolutely love these pants! I used them for hiking mostly but I have also worn them on the golf course. The pockets are nice and deep. Will definitely purchase again!

Comfortable, light weight, breathable... perfect hiking pants with a great fit and look. Durable for on the trail, and fast drying if they get wet. Awesome pants

Hiking in these pants are great, I like that the mud and water wick away. Fit is good. A little big but I didn't think a size 6 would work.

I've been using the Ferrosi pant for hiking and biking around town. SUper happy with them so far. Really loving that they are offered in a Short version as I am short and can never find pants with a length that fits and they actually do! Overall, the pant is just an all around gem!

These are super cute, super lightweight pants. I wore these snowshoeing this past weekend. So comfortable & stretchy and fit perfectly. My one concern was they are a size 10 short which I wasn't sure would work. I'm 5-7 and 150 pounds so I tried them on and they fit great! No need to get any longer especially for hiking. I typically wear gators so these wear ideal. I'll be wearing these all year long. They look good even after a hike and going for dinner. I love these pants!

Comfy, flexy and durable

So far I've only used my ferrosi pants around the city; although, I am looking forward to trying them out on the trail. The color [curry] is amazing - I've received a ton of compliments on it. I like the way the fabric feels against my skin. My measurements can be hard to buy clothes for. According to Outdoor research's size chart my hips are a 12 while my waist is an 8. I purchased a size 10 and it's a happy medium for me. There's enough room in the hips and thigh + enough stretch to the fabric that they fit there and the drawstring behind the button allows me to synch them so they don't feel like they're going to fall off. I will note that if I put anything in the upper front pockets it's visible as are the lines of the pocket but that doesn't bother me too much from an aesthetic perspective. My only wish for these pants is that they came out with a "curvy girl" version. Either way I'm already considering buying another pair in a different color.

Where have these pants been all my life? I can't say enough good about them. I ordered the size 10 short and they're nearly perfect. I have muscley quads and thought at first they were too tight, but it was that they actually fit! LOVE the fleece-lined waist and draw cord. Love the placement of the thigh pocket, the front pockets are plenty deep, and the back pockets are functional and flattering. I'm 5' 3.5" and the length is spot on. I've worn these hiking in cool weather, snowshoeing in heavy snow with no gaters, and hiking in a driving rain. They shed rain nicely and kept me warm. And they're cute enough to wear to work without looking out of place. Really a fabulous pant.

I love these pants! Very light weight and stretchy. I use them for hiking or everyday wear. My go to pants when its warmer.

These pants are great for hiking/backpacking or just wearing around. I'm 5' 2" and 130lbs and the waist is a tad on the big side, but it's no problem with the drawstring. I'm assuming the extra space might be an intentional design for comfy-ness. They definitely are comfy. The length of the pants is just right. Thank you for carrying short sizes!

Where have these pants been all my life? They are nearly perfect. Maybe they ARE perfect! I love that OR provides pants in short, I'm 5'3" and the length is great. Front pockets are nice and deep, the zippered thigh pocket is bomber. At first I thought they felt a bit too snug in the thighs (I have muscley quads) but they really just fit! The soft inner waistband and drawstring for adjusting are icing on an already fabulous cake!

There are no cons to these pants. They do everything you want in an outdoor pant

I love the fit & stretchy material! I appreciated the drawstring inside the pants so I can tighten as the material stretched out a bit. I always get irritated when I have to pull up my pants while hiking only to have them ride down after a few steps, so the sturdy drawstring is a plus. I also love that there are functional pockets while keeping the look minimal.

These are the best pants! I am 5'2" 120 lbs and the size 6 short fits great. They are the most versatile and comfortable pants for doing anything. They have an unobtrusive drawcord at the ankle that you can use to push up the pant legs if you are too hot or if you have to cross a stream. And, they are surpisingly flattering for a hiking pant! In black, you can even wear them for going out (especially important if you are traveling and only bring a carry on- they can literally be your only pair of pants!) . They are breathable and fast drying. The front pockets are nice and deep and there is one zipped pocket on the leg that can hold keys, ID, $, etc safely. There are also 2 back pockets and the only thing I would have liked is to have those with zips or snaps, but definitely not a deal breaker. I recently bought them so time will tell if they will hold up. Some have commented that they were dissapointed with the fabric after a while.
