I used these pants for the first time this weekend, attempting to summit Mt. Lemah in WA. I climbed over logs, walked through the bush, walked through streams and glissaded. I got pretty cold on the glissade, but that's to be expected - the pants are thin. They were extremely durable and show no significant signs of wear. They were slightly warm in the humid, hot air, but still seemed fairly breathable. I'm 5'1" with a narrow waist and wide hips with bulky quads and have a hard time finding outdoor hiking pants. I bought the short size and they were still a bit long, but my inseam is closer to a 28" and these pants have a drawstring that helps keep them shorter. I typically wear a 6-8 in pants but recommend going to the smaller size as they stretch out slightly - the 8s were way too large in the waist for me and very happy. The 6s fit snugly but comfortably and are as flattering as any pair of pants on wide hips. Love the design and the quality and would love to buy another pair when they're affordable again. :)

These pants are very comfortable and light-weight.

I've only worn it a few times but I really love the fit. Typically, pants are too long for me. I am 5 feet and something tall and I love that there's an option for me to buy pants for my height. The pants are lightweight and great for wearing outdoors, especially during humid days.

I use it for birding.

I use it for work with my clients. It has a clean look as well as a sportive active look. I like the fabric being elastic so that I can be in all positions to demonstrate techniques. I haven't been on rocks yet or muddy terrain, so I cannot say how well it will wear or how it will clean the muddly and grass stains.

I absolutely love these pants! Wore them for the first time on a hike this weekend and they were great. Stretchy, comfy, nice fit. It rained on us on the way out but the pants only got a little wet and dried quickly. Highly recommended.

Perfect fit. I am 5 ' tall and I sometimes need to hem even pants that are supposedly "short". These size 10's are perfectly matched for me. No hemming ( elastic corded adjustable hems).

I'm 5' 3" and have wider hips and a small waist and these pants fit my frame perfectly. I love the Short option. I've used them for longer ~15mile day hikes in wind, slight rain, and sun and have loved them every time. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely love these pants. Love the curry colour too. Good fit, nice and stretchy which makes hiking/climbing very comfortable.

short length

I am 6'0" and it is so hard to find active wear pants that are truly LONG/ . These fit the bill! Comfortable and light - perfect for spring hiking here in Colorado.

I am so glad they made a short version of these pants. They fit well and are well made / durable. I wore them nordic skiing and hiking. They do wick some water but are not water resistant....

I love these pants, they are a bit big for a size 4, but by no means too big. I thought they felt a little delicate at first but I have put these pants through the ringer so far and they are holding up really well. They are so comfy with the fleece at the waistband but still very breathable in the heat while being good at blocking the chilling wind. I didn't think I'd like the elastic at the pant cuffs but I have been such a fan of how convertible they are to adapt to temperature changes during your adventure. (The elastic is also very helpful for biking to keep the pants out of the chain. )

Love the material of these pants, which don't wrinkle much and breathes well. However, I would like to offer some suggestions for improvement: the thigh pocket is a little too small for cell phones, though big enough for passports. The rise is also a little low. Other than this, this pant is awesome!

For the second time, I ordered one pair of Ferrosi pants in gray and one in black (size 10, short. I like the deep, secure pockets and light, breathable material that doesn't lose its shape. However, there is an unadvertised change in the pants design: tie inside the waist, which allows the tightening is now too short and not stretchy, making it awkward to use. This should have been included in the description. I will have to have a seamstress help me resolve this issue.

Great pants; perfect for warmer weather when shorts can't be worn. Light, dry quickly and true to size.

The fabric is lightweight and breathable. I have been wearing them for Nordic skiing and wear a pair of long underwear on chilly days. They are perfect for conditions above 15-20 including windy days. My only complaint is the waist is a little large- they do have a drawstring which works well to keep pants up. I have a thin waist so my guess is they fit most folks fine in the waist I'm 5'2", 105 lbs and bought a small

Nice light-weight pants; material breathes well. Kinda "swishy" material (for those of us without thigh gaps...) Cut and material too casual to be "dressed up" for my active job, but good for running around. Short inseam still a little too long on me (I'm 5'4"), but works OK with one roll of the cuff.

I really liked everything about these pants except for one thing. Although they come in a short length the pants were still too long and the rise was too high. For reference, I am 5'1"" tall and 103 lbs. please make something for us petite ladies. Short length isn't enough!

Very comfortable and lightweight. Perfect for hiking. Wrinkle a bit. Wish the steel blue colour had been in stock when I purchased. Would definitely buy OR products in the future.

These pants fit well in length (I'm 5'3") and legs but are too loose around the waist. Luckily, there is an internal drawstring! I am not sure if they would stay up if I was backpacking (as I've noticed that packs can push down pants that aren't smooth and snug around the waist. I really like the light fabric - perfect for a summer evening around camp when the bugs start coming out or it cools just a little bit. The pockets are nice and smooth - not bunchy.

Comfy, good stretch and fit well. Main pockets are deep enough to keep a cellphone in while walking through dense bush. Waistband is a little looser, but the built in draw-string overcomes that.
