I use them for work. I am a land surveyor and an avid outdoor person. These pants are the best! They are like wearing pajama pants that are nice enough to wear anywhere.

I've used ferrosi pants for walking the dog, hiking and backcountry camping. Considering how thin they are, I'd say they are durable as well. In a downpour, they get quickly overwhelmed. Very stretchy and comfortable. I have more than one pair.

Awesome pants for warm weather where you still need coverage. Hiking through to summer alpine (think bugaboos) these are awesome pants. Elastic in hem keeps them in place on boots and helps prevent crampon snags. Not a full on softshell, but perfect for the beautiful alpine days. My wife also has a pair and loves them for days when she needs more than leggings/crops.

I like to wear a mid/layer pant while skiing and these work very well for that. The look great for apres ski activities after I peel off the shell.

I use these pants for almost everything outdoors. They're a stretchy nylon material, are water resistant, and if they do get wet, they dry quickly. I personally prefer pants that taper towards the bottom, which these do not, but they do have an elastic band to cinch the cuffs off which is a nice alternative.

I was jealous of my wife's Ferrosi pants so I got some for me. Very well made and lightweight. Sadly, I had to return them. The 32" inseam is too short for my legs. I typically wear 34" and I couldn't get away with the shorter length on these. OR please make a 34" inseam Ferrosi pant! If you have shorter (normal) legs, you'll love these.

Perfect for any occasion and activity. With a base layer it's even ok in the cold, / 15c. Lots of elasticity and a durable very water resistant fabric. I'm 5'10" and the 32 fits perfectly. If I had to complain to it, I would say that the fabric gets dirty easily. I have them in black, so salt from the car transfers easily onto them. They're easily cleaned with wet cloth. Definitely more of a problem with the black color, but the other colours wouldn't have that problem. So get a few colors!

I wear the Ferrosi's almost every day during my climbing trips. They are light, breathable, and stretchy so you can high step without a problem while sending. They keep me warm high off the deck on windy winter days in the lowlands around the Sierra's, too. The quality of the materials make me question the durability of the pants, I've been wearing them pretty religiously during climbing trips for the past couple months and have encountered some wide stuff that is making them pill and thin around the thighs and knees. I may not recommend them if you're looking for pants that will last a while if you're getting into body sized cracks. Regardless of the questionable durability, these pants are pretty rad!

I have worn this in the bush on long treks, around town, and at work. I have received multiple compliments on its looks. The resistance to wind is a must for cold and windy conditions. It goes great with the Ferrosi jacket. I plan on getting another pair for alpine hiking.

Plain and simple: Buy these. They are the ultimate in durability, comfort, style, and grooviness...that's right, they are plain / straight groovy cuz they do what they say and look good doing it! No joke, OR hit the bullseye with these pants. Buy a bunch cuz you don't want to be stuck not wearing them just cuz a couple pair are in the wash. I also use them commercial fishing. When dirty, I take them into the shower, soap em' up, rinse em' out, and by the time I am off of the tender they are pretty / near dry. Magic, Voodoo, whatever... just get em'!!
