I live in Florida where the sun is brutal, especially in the summer. We take our hats fairly seriously because they are more than just a fashion statement. I am really loving this Coolhead Booney Hat. I have been a fan of the "Boonie" all my life and I think this is the best one I have owned and used. I like the wider brim than a normal, but not to large. It packs small and the vents on the top are great. The adjustable (one-size-fits-all) bungee cord in the back really allows you to wear the hat even while riding fast in the boat. On really hot days, you can drop down the neck shade that tucks seamlessly into the underside brim of the hat.

Like this sunhat. The adjustable headband makes it suitable for men or women. It comes in a variety of colors. I chose the gray. The wide brim keeps the sun off the face and ears. It has light crown which adds to the ventilation and cooling. Quality product.

12 years ago, I bought a 50 UPF hat from Columbia that can be knocked flat, retain its shape, and get wet. I love that hat! It's 12 years old...I have questions about whether it is still 50 UPF. I have a chronic illness that requires me to wear UPF clothing, because UV light is an illness trigger. I purchased this hat to replace the old hat. So far, it is living up to my expectations! And I absolutely love the deep blue color! I wish it came in sizes, instead of one-size-fits-all, because I am a small person and it is on the large side, but it has drawstrings to cinch it tight on my head. It probably looks a little funny, but I bought this for function, not fashion, to wear swimming and hiking. I have other, nicer looking wide-brimmed hats with chin straps that are 50 UPF if I need to look presentable.

Love the thin material. Cool, keeps the rain off, breathable, and provides UPF protection. The brim is perfect and is long enough to protect the neck (unless you are looking down for extended time). Theres a small hidden pocket on the inside which contains a neck flap for even more coverage.

Lightweight and breathable! Perfect sun hat! The neck shade piece folds up nicely and doesn't feel bulky or in the way.

This hat has a large brim which keeps the sun out of your eyes and it stays on even in the wind -and I sail! The one thing to know about the hat is that it runs large. Even if you think you need the larger size, you can probably wear the smaller size.

My husband's favorite hat! He loves the protection from the sun, but the neck cover is the icing on the cake! We love it because he can tuck away the neck part when he's not using it, making it a convertible hat. The strap under the chin holds the hat securely and kept it in place on a very windy day in the mountains. The ventilation kept his head cool on a recent kayaking trip.

Delivery on this item was fast, quality of the item was magnificent overall ease of order 10 of 10. Really satisfied with my order and this hat, just overall experience.

I would have loved this hat but it was folded in quarters and shipped in a plastic bag. The brim was bent and I doubt it would have ever straightened out. It looked terrible so I returned it. I ordered a second one and that was shipped in the same way, It was also terrible so it went back too. If you like this hat, purchase it in a store vs. online if you don't want to wear a hat with folds in the brim.

I have never been able to wear hats because they are too small on my big head. This one fits so well and will help me this summer. l I'm so excited to have it and it comes with a very nicely "hidden" cover for my neck if I want it. Plus, I received it so fast I couldn't believe it. Very pleased. Thank you.

This hat is a must for summer hiking. It truly does work. Every time I wear that in the sun it's remarkable how cool it keeps your head and I love the material the covers the neck. I bought two of these and never hike without them

I do a lot of hiking in the sun and summer. This is the only cat that feels cool to wear. I also use the shirts with this technology and this is all that I will hike within the summer .,,,you will not be sorry getting these products. There is nothing else out there that works like these Sweat activated cooling products. Super nice gear

Very pleased. I am hard to fit in hats. Big ego, small head. This hat adjusts down to where it work for me but still look fine. Out a couple of days ago in a big wind on my boat and very pleased.

This is exactly the hat for the sun I was looking for. I love taking this on my walks, especially in the harsh Texas sun. It has a nice snug fit. I love the tuckable sun shield that is in the back of the hat in case i need more coverage in the back.

I really enjoy wearing this hat. It's so lightweight and comfortable and is easy to pack and bring with me wherever I go.

My Coolhead II Zero Boonie keeps my head cool while covering the back of my neck, which seems to burn easily. The fit is perfect and it can't blow off my head while biking in the wind. Excellent choice for summer outdoor activities!

I find myself frequently fishing open waters with friends. This hat offers me excellent protection from the direct and reflected rays of the sun. The packable cape stores nicely until it is needed to protect the back of the neck from harmful sun exposure. The hat looks good and provides the safety benefits it is advertised to have. Looking forward to many years of use.
