Very lightweight cap. Has worked excellent for spending 8+hour days out in the sun. Can hardly even tell the hat is on your head. Color has hardly faded after one year of use for work and running.

This hat is very comfortable and light weight.

I have to wear a hat due to sun sensitivity, but they get hot and itchy - not this one. It looks good with summer outfits as well. A bit more feminine than most baseball caps. I want a couple more in other colors.

Great hat - comfortable, fits great, really works. Unfortunately however, the backstrap tabs are ... 'backwards'! Columbia - when you put hook-and-loop fasteners on a cap, the hook part MUST FACE OUT, the fabric part must face the head/hair. The way this hat is constructed, the hooks constantly pull my hair for any minor adjustment. Other than that, this is a great hat for the money!

I love these hats and prefer hook and loop closure for a quick and easy lightening around a ponytail, but the way this hat's closure is constructed is so irritating. I would give this hat 5-stars for comfort and breathability. My only complaint is with the construction of the closure. I have long hair and wear with and without a ponytail. Because the hook side of the closure is facing toward the head (and therefore hair) on the flap and the soft loop side faces away from the head, any gap between the hooks on the closure and the loops against the head leaves the hooks to fasten into the hair. Adjusting or removing the hat with the hooks toward the hair results in hair pulls and loosening of hair from my ponytail, if my hair it isn't pulled entirely from the ponytail by the hooks. Beside being painful, this makes adjusting the closure more difficult than it should be. If you just switched the hook and loop to have the hooks piece of the Velcro face away from the head and the loop piece on the closure flap this would definitely change my rating to 5 stars.

I needed a UPF protective cap, so I ordered this cap, as the description listed that as one of the features. However when I received it, there was no Omni-Shade tag indicating that; just tags for Omni-Freeze and I believe Omni-Wick. That has created a lingering doubt in my mind as to whether I truly have UPF protection with this cap.

Hat is nice and color is on point! I was suspecting something a little more stiff/shaped. Even though it is not it is still functional on bad hair days!

This hat is quite comfortable and fits well. This is one of the few instances where I like Velcro; it makes the hat easily adjustable. The color is beautiful. The only I don't like is that it isn't really very cool, like the name suggests "Coolhead". It makes my head sweat more on hot days, unlike my cotton cap. So I end up having to break out the old tattered cotton cap instead. This hat is cute, so it's hard not to like it.

The website picture makes this look like a structured hat. Really it is mostly unstructured except for the brim. Unclear how UPF protective it is, but initially does have some cooling effect.

It just barely adjusts out to 24.5 inch circumference to fit my big head. Wears and feels very soft. Like the unstructured look.

Bought this hat in white first and decided to buy it in black as well. I unfortunately have hyperhidrosis, and my head sweats a lot. This hat is cooler than other hats and does not show sweat marks. Since it is unisex, it's runs big. The Velcro makes it easy to adjust the size, although it still comes further down on my head (sits closer to my ears) than a ladies' hat would. Overall, I like this hat

This is a Great "week end" cap to grab and get out of the house and make the most of your day!

This hat fits great and is super cool in the heat.... But... There's a design flaw. The hard part of the Velcro part faces down, towards your hair, and the soft part faces out. It should be switched. Every time I take it off it grabs a chunk of my hair. My head is not small enough for the Velcro to be perfectly lined up. I'm going to get a small piece of Velcro to cover the part that keeps grabbing my hair.

This all synthetic cap breathes nicely in this hot, humid weather we have been having. Fit is one size fits all, but seems roomy even for my large size head. Fabric is a little delicate - can snag and pill up. Good construction overall with a generous bill for sun protection. Columbia logo is kind of cool looking.

Tis hat is definitely cooler than your average baseball type hat and you will sweat less. However, the omni cool band is virtually useless. First, it only touches your scalp (if you have hair) in the front. Second, it really doesn't feel any cooler. What does work is it fits great and is a very light material that breathes so your head doesn't get as hot for sure. It's the only hat I've owned that I can turn around backwards for riding across the water at 40+ MPH that doesn't give any effort to coming off. Very comfortable and well made!

I bought it as a gift. I am told that it is a great hat. Very breathable. My only complaint is that it seems like a lot of money for a hat.

My husband likes this hat. It is nice and lite, can hardly feel it on his head. He is looking forward to testing it out in Tucson on our vacation!

I bought the cap for my husband for father's day gift. Its fit for him and can wear in the hot day.

The hat serves it's purpose. It's lightweight and fits nicely. I didn't notice a cooling effect, but I wasn't sweating very much.

I love the cap. It is a one size fits all (for women). It definitely runs large with this criteria and is easy to adjust, but it would be excellent if you could tuck the long end of the adjusted band into the seam band of the cap as other of my baseball caps do. Other than that it is awesome.

Love it, but I had to take off a star for the adjustable strap, my hair keeps getting caught in the velcro!

They state that they're true to size but they're not. I ordered a gray, khaki and bright blue one. The gray one is much smaller than the other two. Yje other two are close in size. The khaki is definitely bigger though. Great hats other than that.
