I bought this shoe to try to find an alternative to Brooks. The shoe is nice, but not up to Brooks standard in regards as a running shoe. This is not to say I don't like the shoes, but it's not fair to even compare it. I bought these to run in, but have started to use them as a daily tennis shoe instead.

Rated these poorly as they did not hold up. I am a walker, mostly golf, purchased these on October 5 and by the new year they were shot. Footbed was depressed and the support is lousy. Can't imagine how these runners would be if you actually ran in them.

Forgot to mention the heel is cut at a strange angle. It's awkward walking on the angled heel. I did not get to run in them-maybe the heel cut feels better when running.

Narrow Toebox. Even with a 4E width my big toes are rubbing against the side of the shoe as I walk.

This is my first pair of NB shoes and while I gather this particular design is not necessarily representative of the entire brand I must say I was disappointed. I have quite wide feet and generally wear a 14W in Men's however I measure more like a 13XW and prefer to order extra wide when available as most size 14's are too long and I will have heel slip unless I tighten down the laces quite a bit which compromises comfort. I currently have a pair of 13XW Asics trail runners (Gel-Venture 7) and they are a perfect fit for me. The 680v6's on the other hand feel at least a half size to small in the length and are definitely not even a 4E in width, probably not even a 2E. The only mitigating factor is the mesh these shoes are made of is very stretchy (and also breathable which is great for Arizona summers) so I can still fit in them without discomfort and the snug fit can be a benefit for running. Since there is no 13.5 or 6E available I don't see getting a different size as an option. Unfortunately the design of the sole is also weird with the outside of the foot curving inward quite a bit just like the inside which leaves a bit of a bulge right under the outside of your foot which is slightly uncomfortable if you focus on it and I imagine would cause issues if these were worn for a long time. I don't think upsizing will fix this either, at least not unless you upsized the shoe until it was unwearable. Cushioning of the shoe feels acceptable although not enough to wear I would feel these shoes would be good for long runs. In the end I really don't see who these shoes would be ideal for. Definitely not a performance shoe but at this price point there are plenty of other more comfortable options.

I felt these ran just slightly smaller than I anticipated. In time I will keep wearing them and hopefully I will find them to stretch a bit.

Returning this item because the width is not a 4E. New Ballance used to make the perfect size for my wide feet now Nike is doing a better job.

These were decent shoes however the cushioning in them was not great. I could have made them work with insoles but I decided to send them back instead.

The right shoe had some pronation which I was not comfortable with.

I had previously bought this shoe and felt it was like wearing just socks ie; very comfortable and can wear on long power walks no problem. That was in blue. I just got another pair in gray because the blue ones felt so good. I have to say I am a little disappointed. the shoe overall feels tighter even though it is the same width and length as my previous pair. I am still just at the trying stage indoors, but may actually return as my feet feel "tired" in these after only a short time

too small

Too small and too narrow. I ordered my usual size; will have to send back and order 1/2 size larger.

I wanted to like this shoe. Toe box on the wide width gave plenty of room. Shoes felt good on my feet - very lightweight and stylish. However, something about the insole of this shoe kept making my feet angle inwards a bit, causing my big toe to keep rubbing against the inside of the shoe. Had to return.

The insole of shoe arch seemed to be positioned off the arch! Also, the platform underneath the heel was raised which was not comfortable.

Not enough cushion inside. We returned this shoe.

size, length short...certainly not a 4e as compared to nb840

These shoes just did not fit my feet. They were too narrow and just couldnt make them work. Had to return.

I wear an 8 1/2 D shoe and this felt like it was a size 8.

Disappointed! My husband has worn New Balance running shoes (for pronation) for years. These shoes are try #2. Went up 1/2 size (from 8-8.5) and they're still too small.

I ordered size 13, 4E. It felt more like a 12, 2E. Definitely smaller than I expected.

Width was good but was a little short, and sole was too hard

I ordered the same size I wear in New Balance 840v4 and they were nowhere near the same size.

very insufficient support. returned them.

I had bought another pair of these in another color some months back and thought they were great. I have worn these around the house only trying to break them in and they are uncomfortable as hell. Not sure why a different color but same style shoe , length and width would make so much of a difference. Am probably going to return these
