I have a closet full of old New Balance shoes and I was trying to add a summer mesh shoe. 2 tries and I think I should quit. I hate returning stuff, but I am returning this 2nd pair.

I bought these shoes to wear on vacation in Germany and Austria . On average, I walked about 2-3 miles a day. These shoes lacked padding in the soles that my more expensive New Balance shoes have that make walking in them
comfortable. In these shoes, my feet absorbed the shock of walking instead of the shoes; this made walking painful. The tongues in both shoes kept sliding to the side so the laces would dig into my foot and I would have to stop and readjust them. If these were my first purchase of New Balance shoes, I wouldn’t buy the brand again.

These shoes are so uncomfortable. The tongue curls up and makes it so painful. I try so hard to ease my foot into the shoe to keep the tongue laying flat but it doesn't help. They also make so much noise when I walk that you can hear me a mile away. I thought I might break them in but I've had them for a month and nothing. Too late now to return them, wish I could get a refund but I will have to spend more money on a different pair of shoes now.

New Balance was recommended to me by my ortho as the removable sole would accommodate my custom made orthotics. Foot bed is comfortable, however the flimsy material on the tongue of the sneaker causes the edges to roll under and hurts. No matter how carefully I lay the tongue flat, it curls up after taking just a few steps. I can't return them because they have been worn. Money wasted on an inferior product.

I purchased a pair of Arishi v1 a year or so back and it was a great shoe that lasted longer than most. When I ordered the v2, I actually questioned whether it was an original New Balance shoe - The edges are raw, the materials feel cheaper. I hope the v3 is more like the v1!

Had a pair of Arishi V1 that I absolutely loved. They were lightweight, soft, and springy. I had them in navy blue and the ankle had a soft, heather gray, almost jersey material. You could wear them without socks and they were soft and comfortable. The Arishi V2 is stiff, seems more narrow than the V1, the memory foam footbed doesn't seem as soft or springy, and the ankle material is hard, uncomfortable, and gives blisters even with socks. I hate these shoes! Wish I had returned them instead of trying to break them in and thinking they would grow on me. Really disappointed. Bring back the old Arishi!!

Does not compare to version 1. Not much cushioning. The first one was soft and comfortable.
