Fit and size were good although the shoe is a little wider than my old ones. I wore them today for the second time and after a mile or so I got a bad cramp on the calf of my right leg. I limped home another mile and removed the shoes and the leg was back to normal. Will try them one more time and if that happens again I will return them.

Love the shoe and love the look but these absolutely run at least 1/2 shoe size smaller.

I've worn the wave inspire for years, and thought I'd try the horizon. My normal foot is 7.5, and I've been purchasing the inspires in size 8 for a good fit with adequate toe room (some years the 8 feels a little narrower, even on my narrowish foot, but still a good fit). I ordered the 8 horizon's online, and they were too small (despite all the reviews saying runs true to size). My toes pushed to the end, and I think I felt "hot spots" (which I've read about in reviews of hiking boots, but hadn't experienced before). I had to return (which is not a particularly easy process) and pay for return shipping ($16 at USPS, which I went to after a $24 quote from UPS-- I returned in the same box they came in). I just ordered an 8.5 because I think I'll like the shoe (this time ordered through a shoe store, so if they don't fit I can return to the store). I ordered online because the store that I often buy my Mizuno's from did not have the black color in stock. I love the black color (with its hints of dark red/purple peeking through). I'll write a review once the 8.5's arrive. I'm thinking the 8 didn't fit because the added cushion of this model.. but I don't know, seems like that should be accounted for when the company is sizing. I hesitated going to 8.5 because I like a snug fit around the mid foot, hopefully they'll work out. I tried on in the store and was a little less snug than I prefer, but seemed like it would work-- I might need to wear with slightly thicker socks than the normal running/athletic ones I wear. I keep coming back to Mizuno because they have great construction, technology, and usually fit. I might just need to stick with the inspire model.

I've been wearing Mizunos for 5 years, I've bought the Wave series throughout. I wear a size 8 shoe but bought 8.5 fit great. Very comfortable I walk/run about 3 miles a day.

These shoes are very comfortable for exercising and running. They feel sper cushioning. I'm not giving 5 stars because they feel a little bulky and heavy for me.

Overall this shoe is more bulky than other cross-training/running styles & brands I've tried in recent years (Asics & MUCH heavier than OnRunning Cloudflow, which I didn't think lasted long enough). The support & comfort is spot-on, however. I was looking for a more padded shoe again. I ordered 1/2 size larger than I would normally for exercise shoes based on other reviews, which was a mistake. I returned and just purchased the normal size I wear in a workout shoe. I'm a 9N or 9M at this stage in life & normally buy size 10M for Asics, On, Saucony, etc. 10.5 in the Mizuno did NOT work; even the 10M is plenty wide in the toe area for this exerciser, granted I use mostly for stairmaster, elliptical & walking not running anymore.

Great sneaker, but boy do they run small! I had to return the size 8 and order an 81/2 which I never wear in any other shoe. Some shoes I even take a 71/2. Hopefully the 81/2 will fit, if not i'll have to go for a 9.

Have always worn a size 9 in Mizuno. These feel short. Must wear very thin socks. Have never had problems with rubbing or blisters but it happened with this pair. Cushioning is good but I much prefer the Wave 23 for overall fit and comfort.

They are okay. What I really wanted was an inspire with a wider toe box. My heels too narrow for a wide size. So I think they are likely great for some people but they are way too heavy for my preference. Will continue running in them til I find the best stability shoe. Wore brooks adrenalines for years but their guiderail kills my feet. Tried every other brand of stability shoe and this is wear I landed.

These felt a half size smaller, so could not get my foot in. I wrote a more detailed review for the larger size..

I have worn these for a few years but unfortunately for me the heal slipped in this new model and I had to return them. Very sad.

I wouldn't wear these to run in but they make great shoes for standing for long periods of time.

Let me start by saying I love their shoes, some of the best shoes I have ever purchased. The problem I have with this company is how they handle returns. I needed a different size then I ordered so I called to make the exchange. I was told they were unable to process an exchange that I needed to return the shoes and do a new order of the correct size. In returning the shoes I also had to pay for shipping the shoes back to the company. I purchase many items online and have had to return them for various reasons. The returns have always been easy, no postage to pay for the return and the customer service outstanding. I will not be purchasing another pair of shoes from this company for this reason, it's too bad because their shoes are wonderful shoes.

I had to return these shoes because after wearing them twice, I pulled a muscle in my right leg and have to start physical therapy.

I recently purchased these shoes for their stability. In the store they felt very good, stable like I need, and the cushioning was perfect. I went out for my walk/run, and found the shoes were not as comfortable as in the store. I found the shoes were rubbing the inside of my heal, thinking I just need to work the shoes in a bit more, I went the next day. Again after adjusting the tightness of the shoe I found the rubbing to be consistent. After walking I found a thing blister as long as my finger on each inside heel. For the price of the shoes I feel they need to fit perfectly. I will be returning and searching for another stable and supportive shoe.

Great support in arch. I was bummed that the shoes caused 5 blisters on my feet.

I ordered the 10.5. They were just too small all around. Narrow and 1/2 size to small. An 11 would probably work for me. Not sure if I will try 11 or not or if they are even in stock in 11.

I wanted to love these shoes. The wave horizon 1 & 2 made my feet hurt and the 3 is no different. When I first put them on they felt fabulous. While doing the elliptical, the front of my feet started going numb. At the end of the day my heels were killing me. I had such horrible pain. I am not sure what is going on with the wave horizons. I am so disappointed. The 3's are a major let down like the previous models.I am going to be switching to Brooks from now on.

These shoes run small and narrow. I ordered these for my daughter and she could not even get her foot into the shoe. We’ll be returning them and trying something else. They do look really good and hate they won’t work for us.

I’ve always been a medium in sneaker width but this should be labeled extra-narrow. If you have an ultra-narrow foot, these will work fine. I seriously couldn’t get my foot into the shoe without using some Mobil 1 motor oil. After forcing my foot in I thought I was going to faint from my blood being cutoff and foot suffocation. It was beyond tight. It took my wife and 3 kids to pull em off! It’s too bad they don’t come in a wider fit. Nice looking shoe otherwise.

I never got my shoes. Purchased them weeks before they sold out and a glitch with my expiration on my card didn't go through. They told me the order was processed. Charged my card several times. Then found out almost 2 weeks later saying the shoes were no longer available. My order was not even held until things got resolved. Not happy with this company.
