I have issues with both of my feet. I had a neuroma removed from my right foot a few years ago and still have some pain. In my left I am dealing with Plantar Fasciitis and have pain even though I receive injections every 3-4 months. I work 9 hr shifts a few days a week and use Protallis arch supports which do help, but still have pain in both feet. I decided to spend the extra money and get the Mizuno Wave Horizon 3 and do not regret it one bit. I wore them at home a few hours the first day and decided I would risk a 9 hr shift the second day. My feet hurt by far less than when I wear my brooks with the Portallis arch supports. I left the original Mizuno insoles in and they are very comfortable. I will definitely be purchasing another pair. I did read many reviews and saw that many suggested ordering half size larger as they ran a bit small. I usually run a size 7 exactly but listened to other reviews and ordered a 7 1/2, spot on, fit perfect. Very happy with Mizuno and also love the easy free shipping and free returns with Zappos for anything that is not the perfect fit.

So comfortable and they’ve feel great on my feet when standing all day in surgery!

I’ve been a religious Mizuno “Wave Prophecy” fan for nearly a decade. Due to my running regimen, I typically burn through at least 2 pairs of these annually. Having had recent issues with plantar’s fasciitis and sore tendons, I decided to try a different model. Success! Love the Wave Horizon so far. Excellent cushion and shock absorption in the heels, and the toebox is also nice and wide—and actually feels more padded than the Wave Prophecy, for which I’ve been paying $50-100 more per pair for years! In true Mizuno fashion, these run a 1/2 size small, so an 8.5 always works well for me. Finally, I do love the black/smoke grey color scheme with dark purple/magenta accents. A beautiful, highly supportive running shoe—I’m buying another pair to keep in reserve in the inevitable event that this color scheme is retired! Very satisfied with this purchase!

Mizouno’s have always been my faves for my high arched stubby little feet. For a while, the quality seemed to fade, but these are great

These sneakers worked out after I sent back the first pair because they were too small. I always take an 8 in Mizuno sneakers, but they must be making them smaller. I’ve worn Mizuno’s for years, size 8, but definitely order up a half size. Very comfortable & extra cushioning in the ball of foot. But I took out their innersole & use my custom made orthotics. Very happy w/ this purchase. Also like the leather up by the tip of the toe. The Wave Rider’s used to, but noticed that they don’t anymore, so I switched to the Horizon 3.

So comfortable. Great cushion on the ankle and sole. Springy for running. Only complaint is it runs very small. Sadly they only go to 11 and I probably could use an 11.5 in this shoe. Normally I’m a 10.5 or 11.
