Very lightweight, wide enough toe box for comfort hiking. Sturdy while hiking up and down hills. Water proof for muddy walking/hiking. Recommended by my podiatrist specifically for my feet!

Comfort is top notch! Look is a bit dated, but the utility is why I bought these shoes and I couldn't ask for a better fit.

These are the best walking shoes I have ever owned. They were comfortable from day 1 and provide full support and traction for trail walking. They are heavier than a regular walking shoe, but I am finding they are my go-to shoe even for walking the neighborhood.

Love everything about them. The Hokka I had previously with squeaking so loud and announcing my arrival. This is not the case with these and they also look really nice and cool. They’re good for walks and runs, less for a more demanding hike as they don’t hold the foot tight

I thought that I would have to break them in more. But they were comfortable as soon as I started walking in them. Also they feel very supportive. I wanted them for walking. And lite hiking.

Nice and snuggy. I didn't need to break them in like you usually do. The first time I wore them I completed a full nursing shift and walked 30 minutes in the community without experiencing and foot/leg fatigue or rubbing on my feet/ankles.

The Stinson ATR’s are like magic for me. I have hallux rigidus (major stiffening of my big toe joint) and I can walk comfortably in these sneakers! No other shoe/sneaker provides this type of comfort for me. They have a rocker bottom, and this makes all the difference. I owe everything to these sneakers because they are keeping me out of surgery and enabling me to walk, run, Zumba and even play tennis again. (They aren’t designated as tennis shoes and might not be allowed on every court, but I can move again!). I highly recommend these sneakers for anyone with this same problem. And even without the problem (my other foot is fine) they are super comfortable.

I have severe plantar fascitis that never goes away in my left foot. I haven't been able to walk or jog without pain in 3 years. These shoes have FINALLY given me the opportunity to do both. I'll never buy another sneaker for walking/running again. They gave me my health back!
