Very comfy! I love the support. I am extremely disappointed in the bottom of the shoes. I have worn these for 1 week and the treads are already are worn out!

There is not enough support in this shoe for my feet, the sole is too soft.

I bought these to walk/exercise in. They were purchased online, and fit much tighter than same size in local store. They seem shorter and more narrow. Half of my foot was numb after first use. Dont think I will buy anymore of these shoes.

Not really happy with these shoes. They will disappear in the closet. Very hard and stiff - not really flexible. Also the cushioning does not feel that soft compared to other brands unfortunately. Really thought they would be very different : -(

I have one pair of Clifton 6, and 2 pairs of Bondi 6 shoes, and every one has the most posterior right side sole pad coming unglued.

These one the insole is not as soft as the Gaviota 2 I had before the insole is hard i wore these for three twelve hour shifts and my feet is not completely comfortable. I wish the insole was softer in these as the ones I had before.

My first set of HOKAs and the customer service person I spoke to said they run a little full so I went down to a 10 because 10.5 in my other brand always feels a little big. I actually think I might need an 11 unless there's a big difference between 10 and 10.5

I bought these shoes after careful research into the best support for plantar fasciitis. Sadly, I am disappointed in the fit. My feet hurt worse after wearing them and end up changing shoes half way through a shift.

I am a casual runner. I don't do marathons; I prefer going on every other day short distance runs (around 2.5 miles) every other day, so around 12 or 13 miles per week. Beware that these shoes look cute and initially feel very well padded; you'll feel light on your feet and it's a relief for injuries like shin splints. BUT the problem is that they're not made to last, and the toe box can feel weirdly narrow for extra wide feet. Make sure to get the wide size if you do buy them...It's just disappointing and annoying that the extra cushioned soles I paid for were totally worn flat less than 4 months into owning the shoes. Even worse, they started to feel stretched out around the ankles even before they felt worn out on the bottoms, which caused a feeling of instability. Thicker socks did not make the shoes feel stabler. Honestly, how is anyone running long distance on a regular basis using these shoes? Most of my running shoes last around 6.5 months, and my ankles are better supported. For almost $170 with tax and shipping, these shoes are overpriced and overrated. I'm not sure if I'll continue to use HOKA for my running shoes.

I use for work since I am a lot on my feet. Wish I could return them. I were them for 3 days now and my feet is on fire.

I've run in Hoka for years now. Went to a neutral stability shoe and had some issues. Was evaluated and determined I needed to stay in a stability shoe so I went to the original Gaviota. No problems. Then when it was time for new shoes I went to the Gaviota2. Fine for a couple months but now I have heel pain all the time. I check some of the negative reviews here and found others with the same issue. It's so bad now that I have to shut myself down for at least a week. Never had this before and didn't experience it with prior model. Don't want to spend money for an insole and not confident in the shoe anymore so don't want another pair. The only other stability shoe is the Arahi but I need the additional cushioning. Disappointed.

I bought these yesterday, wore them to work today and they absolutely killed my feet. Makes me want to wear my old shoes to work tomorrow especially since I read they have no break in period.

Evidently I ordered them too small; should have ordered a size 12. BIG error on my part.

I am a modest jogger with flat feet so I chose this shoe for the stability and cushion and I like them just fine but after one month of use JUST for jogs 2-3 times a week, the soles are COMPLETELY destroyed. Is my pair defective? Who knows but for this quality, they're really not worth the price. Unless you are cool with dropping 150 every other month, I'd look elsewhere

I like the stability but won't buy again. Needs more toe box room for orthotics . Backs to Brooks So sad.

Very comfortable. But after wearing for an hour the shoe starts to squeak like there is a broken cell in the sole. Very disappointing.

They are big and heavy! They do not offer much arch support. They are very soft.

Use it for,walking.

I wear 6.5 I usually buy Arahi but I liked the colors on Gaviota so I bought it. Nope!! Not a good choice will return.

I love the feel, the fit and the ride of this shoe. It is great for hallux ridigus with my mortons extensor, feels good in heavy milage, and has kept me running 60-70 miles/week. BUT, I've had to replace them every 2-3 months. Quite a large financial investment. I've tried multiple other shoes, but this is the only one that is stable, cushioned, fits orthotics, protects my joints...etc. The breathable mesh tears at the front every time. It is cheaply made and a big disappointment. The heel wears quickly and there is no lockdown. The outsole wears fast, too, but can be expected with milage. PLEASE, please change your "breathable" mesh, I don't need my toes poking out to have air circulate. (More colors in wide would be nice)

I really, really wanted to like these shoes because of the brand and how much support the shoe offers, but they left me disappointed. It took a long time for them to break-in or at least feel comfortable. Maybe it was the lacing but my toes would go numb if I ran longer than 8 miles in them. Then after only 5 months and about 230 miles the fabric on the outside edge completely separated from the sole to form a 3 inch slit and render to shoes useless. The tread is still all there, but the mesh just gave out. Super bummed because these were not inexpensive and I was hoping would last longer. I switched to HOKA's because they were recommended but I'm sad to say, I wouldn't switch if I could go back now.

To many changes from Gaviota. 1. Toe box is smaller 2. Heel depth is less 3. Less arch support Overall: not correct shoe for overpronators. I've had several Gaviota and use them daily for 12 hour shifts standing/walking on concrete in an Emergency Room. I've talked several coworkers and family members in to purchasing a pair. We couldn't be more pleased. Then you made these changes and they are not living up to the original. The only option left in the original is all leather with only 2 colors to choose from. I will continue to purchase those. And I will continue to reccomend Hoka. My fear is you will completely do away with the original. Please go back to the original !!!
