Shoe was a quality shoe, but it rubbed in certain spots and created foot issues.

Product is high quality and as advertized except i have ordered 2e and it's still little tight in the toe box but not tight enough to cause any irritation. Over all satisfied.

I loved the original graviota and wanted to find that shoe. The graviota 2 is also a great supportive shoe for a supinator. The original lacing system was way better in being able to be adjusted and the laces did not require a double not to stay laced. No matter how tightly the bow is tied, after a short while it is totally undone. Pretty annoying. Hoka is definitely the best shoe for my type of foot.

I'm a bigger guy (6'3", 300+ lbs) starting to run. I assumed that I would need a stability shoe. I bought these and the Clifton Edge. When I tried the Gaviota 2, I found the midsole to be a little too firm for me and I also learned that I supinate and have a pretty high arch. I started to lose sensation in my forefoot after the run was done. I suppose that if you pronate you'll love these shoes. Just not the right fit for me. I love the colorway though.

The shoe is comfortable and feels very light. Has good all around support. The all black pair I purchased look good. the soles do seem to be wearing fast ( I have worn them for only 11 days).

I was unable to try this show on locally and was worried about returning online. But I feel in love when I wore them for the first time and didn't want to part with them. I may need the next size up next time. I definitely feel like I'm walking on a cloud

The shoe is very comfortable.....BUT...the shoe is too big. I weight 223 lbs so they hold my weight very well. The only problem is that the length is too long and the shoe is too wide. Not all overweight people have wide feet. I would order the shoe again, but get a size down.

These are comfortable and stable when walking. But even in a wide my custom orthotics really dont fit in well and they pinch my toes.

To walk in nice stabiltity and cushion Originally purchased mens 9 wideas this is what I have owned for 4 years. Ordered same but they were too short and tight? Femal over 50 so I do not believe that my feet have changed?the 9.5 are a little long but work.

I sadly had to return these shoes. The length was true to size but I found the toe box too tight. I have narrow feet, so this surprised me. I tried the same size in Wide, but it was too wide everywhere else and slipped on my heel. I thought these shoes were otherwise very comfortable and had great support, so I'm disappointed in the fit.

My first purchase of HOKA shoes. Like the arch support and support for a troublesome big toe. Will be giving them a good testing in the next couple months before winter.

On my feet on concrete 12 hrs a day and very little fatigue at the end of my shift. Has the perfect balance of cushion and support, the width is spot on.

The shoes feel like you are walking on clouds. Way nicer than the Brooks GTS XX I switched from. I got fitted at a local running store and they swore I didn't need wides, but after a few weeks of rubbing on the side of my big toe and discomfort after 5 mile walk/jogs, I am going to test out the HOKA 30 Day return policy and switch to the wides.

Before my back told me otherwise, I used to run every morning. Now it's a 6 mile brisk (~4 mph) walk. I really need comfy shoes, and wear nothing but Hoka. The Gaviota 2 feel good, look (early assessment) like they'll wear OK, and are wide enough for my big feet. What I don't understand is why they decided to use such GIANT shoelaces. These are over 14" long on each side and I have be careful to tie exactly right so they don't drag on the ground. Still, with all the bouncing around, they get all twisted up and have to be undone before untying. If they were boots, I'd tie them around my ankles, but no, not for these.

Having a pair of Clifton 5s, I kind of expected these to be on the narrow side. I have a medium arch and the Hokas tend to be on the narrow side for me. The Gaviota's are no different. I stuffed a Lacrosse ball in both of them and left them in for a couple of nights, ran in them and repeated. Now they are the perfect width! These have the classic Hoka bounce, but are a bit more firm (as expected) Han the Clifton's. It's a nice change. I'm

I use it primarily for work, I'm on my feet all day. Great comfort, fantastic stability for my over-pronated feet. I dont like the look of it. Appears to big on my feet and somewhat heavy

I use these for my 5 mile/day walks throughout the community. Love them. Only thing is that I changed out the insert. Too high inside arches. I just used cheap flat insoles and all is now great.

For a few years I ran in Nike Lunarglides, but that changed when I started having a lot of issues with my achilles. It was suggested that I try something with a lower drop than the Nikes (10mm) so I tried the Hoka Gaviota. It took a couple weeks to get used to the lower drop of the Gaviotas (5mm) but haven't had any issues with my achilles. Been wearing them for two years now and they have been great. The Gaviotas last longer than the Lunarglides (almost 400 to less than 300) and they're very comfortable. I am in my mid-50s, average 35-40 road miles a week about 9 minute/mile pace.

I tried two different Hoka's in standard width and both were narrow across the ball of the foot, so that my feet pushed out the fabric sides, and the sole pushed up on both sides uncomfortably. I always wear standard width, but will try a wide for these shoes.

Shopping during the covid shutdown hasn’t been easy. I have ordered and returned 10 pairs of shoes in the hast 4 or 5 weeks. Thank you Zappos for bearing with me and making those returns easy! Finally found a great pair for my feet. I only gave 4 stars because I haven’t had them long. These Gaviota 2 are very comfortable. I have bunions. So fabric uppers don’t bother them. Even though fabric the shoe feels very dupportive. My feet simply hurt all over all the time But these shoes make them feel much better. I’ll order another pair.
