I’m not a athlete just a overweight retail merchandiser on my feet a lot. I have tried several different shoes over the years and this shoe by far is the best. I walk on the inside of my feet . This shoe corrected my walk. So much cushion but with great support. It took about a week to get use to the shoe. After that absolute heaven. After on my feet 8 hrs my feet hurt very little before my feet were swollen in horrible pain. Not any more because of this shoe. Totally worth every penny.

I've purchased several Hoka One One shoes now and this is my current fave! Nice cushion and arch support and rigidity. So many sneakers are too flexible these days, which I guess is good for some runners, but not me. My podiatrist said I need a shoe that doesn't bend too much and annoy my toe joints. I also have a lot of heel pain. My feet feel relived every time I put these on! Light weight, like walking on a cloud. Wish they came in every color and had a slipper version for in the house! And also a dressy version for going out! Hey, I can dream, right?

This is my second pair of Hoka. Compared to other brands, this shoe was more comfortable (I walk 5 miles/day fast-paced) and provided more support. Brooks were a close second but I chose Hoka because if I am in them for more than an hour each day, I want them to be extremely comfortable and supportive as I’ve had multiple foot surgeries. Hoka does the job (and they’re getting better looking!)

After researching all the various shoes for overpronation- These are the ONLY shoes that help me. The stability is awesome. Also, I have plantar fasicitis and this also helps. I usually wear a 8.5 and these fit perfectly (with socks on).The best part of the shoes is that I do not have to change out the insole because that is what the shoe is supposed to do for overpronation. I only wish they had better colors for women.
