The fit and comfort was there but they wore out too fast. In 6 months the tread has worn flat. Really surprising and disappointing for the money!

Not super comfortable. I look forward to taking them off after a long walk. Previous style (Clifton) I sized down 1/2 but the online sales person said not to do that with this style. Probably should have.

The shoes were comfortable, but since I started wearing them, my plantar fasciitis has been aggravated leaving me with pain in my heals.

I bought these shoes for my daily exercise routine. I weight lift and do a little HIIT in the morning and then go for a 45 minute walk at lunch. The shoes arrived and they looked nice and fitted well. However, I immediately started having heel pain in my right foot after I started wearing them. I am flat footed and these are not as padded and cushiony as the previous Hoka shoes that I've had. I filled out a questionnaire on the Hoka site that was supposed to help me find the right shoe when I purchased them, and I said that I like a lot of cushion. These didn't fit the bill in that regard. I am exchanging them for the shoe that I had previously.

After wearing them for only a week, I decided to return them. They have what looks like a plastic lining around the top of the toes that started to come off into a week of use. I've opened several pairs of hokas, this was my first time trying the akasas and I am very disappointed.

In my personal opinion, I spent money unnecessarily because I didn't get anymore comfort from the shoes than the shoes I already owned. I tried to give them a chance but a complete waste of my money.

I wore it few times, just for walking and they stretched a size more. Now I trip in them.

This is the 2nd time I have tried Hokas. I’m a 5 W in every other shoe including Brooks, Nike, etc. They really feel like one entire size too large. They don’t come in size 4, so I am out of luck.

I don't find these shoes offer enough support for the amount I invested in them.

These are very nice shoes. Made well , good quality. They just are not as comfortable as I had hoped. I also trip on the rubber toe and have fallen several times. When I stand in them I feel like I'm leaning backwards. I was so hoping these would be great shoes for me abd thry are not

This is my 2nd pair of Hokas. The first ones were the Cliftons and I was so pleased. They eliminated my knee pain and lasted for almost a year. While I liked them, the colors were very bright. So when I was ready for a new pair I ordered the Akasa because I liked the single Navy color, however the tread on the bottom has already worn flat and I am having pain in my knees. They have just not lasted like I would of liked for the price paid.

My 1st pair arrived with one eyelet that was not sewn, so I was unable to lace it. I returned them and ordered another pair, assuming it was an isolated flaw, I have been wearing my second pair only in the house, as part of my routine to relieve my plantar fasciitis. However, after 6 weeks of purely indoor usage, the rubber covering on the front of the shoe is becoming unglued. Although the shoe is very comfortable, construction quality appears poor.

I have been in search for a new running shoe as my current ones are slowly dying. Normally Brooks are an easy Go To shoe but I tried 2 different styles and sadly they both went back. I decided to try Hoka and went with this particular style because it got such great reviews. First off...my kids (and surprisingly my husband who never comments on my shoes) were so glad I had to return because they thought they were so ugly. I really didn't care as I just want a comfortable shoe at this point. I am always a 10.5 in whatever shoe I get for running...among all the different brands that has remained true but this 10.5 was quite big so I returned (thanks to Zappos great return policy) and was quickly sent a size 10. The 10 felt much better and quite comfortable when walking around the house. But...after about 10 minutes my foot starting hurting but I just thought I had to work through it. Eventually it hurt bad enough that I had to take the shoes off and my foot continued to hurt for at last an hour after wearing for about 20 minutes. So...back they went. They did not have enough arch support for me which has never been a problem...my arches have never been sensitive but my feet did not like these shoes.

The tread on this shoe are so smooth that I would slide all over the floor during my workouts. I would NOT call this a training shoe and recommend it for cardio classes in a studio. It may work great for simple weight lifting but don't buy this shoe if you want traction of any kind.

I'm a size 5 and this show feels way too roomy, even with my orthotic inert which is pretty bulky. I'm a nurse and wear these shoes mainly for work. They also make my feet look big. I'm constantly adjusting the laces because I can't seem to get the fit right. Initially worked well, but after wearing them, I don't think these are a good fit. Also tried the quadpay and when my credit card was stolen, I missed a payment and the late fee was big, so I won't be doing that again.

I always wear a 9.5 and these were way too long and wide. The soles were not max cushion. Felt very hard when walking.

I wanted these shoes for walking. Even with an insert bought at Athlete's Feet, they were too wide and too long.

Wanted to use for running. But after wearing around house to adjust to feel, they are 1/2 size too big and cause my feet to ache.

I work in retail so I'm walking on concrete floors ALL day. I was recommended this brand by a co worker and I purchased them because of the amazing reviews. I had to exchange my 1st pair because they fit too small. I ordered a half size bigger than I usually wear and now they fit good. Unfortunately after wearing them for 30 days (5 days a week for 12 hour shifts) I'm not impressed. My feet and legs are still sore most days. I'm going to request a refund. I rated them a two star because they're comfortable when I first put them on and I like the quick turnaround for my exchange. Unfortunately they're just not "working" for me.

where the tongue is attached to the shoe is a very stiff ridge that cuts into the top of foot with every step.

I wanted to love them so much. Love the style/colors. They are no Bondi or Elevon... i have a scar on top of my right foot and whatever material they used inside the shoe to support the shoe lace holes rubbed on it terribly. If the tongue of the shoe would have been a little wider it would have covered it and been fine. As is they had to go back. Other than that, support comfort wise they were great.
