I’ve ordered two pairs of Hokas and both too big. I am usually a size 8-8.5. I need to go in store to try them on.

I work at a hospital and on my feet 8 plus hours a day walk about 9 miles a day. These were not comfortable at all. I even used my insoles and again not comfortable. I bought these on Monday and got them Wednesday (loves Zappos shipping and customer service), by Friday the seam was already coming apart. For what I paid these shoes should not be starting to come apart. These are being returned.

Shoe felt too wide! Different model was fine.

Very springy however missing sufficient arch support. Cute and light for a running shoe but had to return due to lack of support.

The fit was really off. Based on a bunch of reviews I bought my normal size for running shoes. They were huge. I’m a 7.5 in shoes but wear an 8 for running shoes, depending on brand. I exchanged for a 7.5 but the were still too long. They’re nice looking but the way they’re made I don’t think they will be durable. The material is perforated and the way the toe hits seems like it will wear out fast. Had to return them. I think they would have been comfortable.

I needed to replace my worn out Hoka Atari2. This style is no longer being made. I chose the Akasa. The width was ok but the toe height just wasn't adequate. Also the cushioning and stability not equal to my Atari's. I researched the website and decided that the Bondi7 would be what I needed. Alas the Bondi7 is comfortable like the Atari2 and I am most pleased.

I bought wide shoes because the last ones felt a little tight. They slip and slide and gave me a blister need to return for regular size 6.5. .

I'm returning these shoes because something wasn't made correctly on the right shoe. It gave my foot a blister.

Hoka always delivers amazing rocking technology which has saved my knees. This is the first pair that has disappointed. The overall shoe is so wide that my feet were sore after a run.

The product I received had something wrong with the seam on the sole of the shoe. Just recently returned it and awaiting the exchange pair. Otherwise the shoe was comfortable Customer service was quick to respond to my request to exchange them out.

Have have only tried on one other pair of Hoka but not available in my size 7. These 7 fit true to size. Quality of shoe seems good and width seems like it is good. However arch is REALLY HIGH. I could not wear these shoes. Not comfortable for me.
I'd also recommend:

I needed a good pair of walking shoes and this particular pair caused back pain. However they were comfortable while wearing them to work, just not for the purpose I bought them for. I ended up sending back.

I thought I would try a different style. They are great in every way, except the bottom of the sneaker is slippery. The other Hoka's I own have great soles. I thought it might get better after wearing them, but they still slide across the floor easily. Just thought others should know. Great for walking!

The replacement sneakers were supposed to be delivered on Tuesday but didn't receive and the order still says 'processing.'. The first pair I ordered had to be returned because it was enormous lengthwise and widthwise.

These shoes did not fit my foot, and were immediately uncomfortable. However, when they arrived they had obviously been well worn. The white soles are very dirty and the shoes almost feel broken in by someone else. Probably why I immediately thought they were so uncomfortable.

The fit was good except for the heel. The back part of the shoe seemed to run wide causing my Achilles to shift too much. I am giving three stars instead of two because of Zappos customer service.

These are made for a wide foot. If you have an average to narrow foot buy another sneaker.

I purchased these shoes specifically for the gym. For frame of reference here, I usually use the treadmill and/or do the basic circuit, for 30-60 min, 1-2 days/week). For the first few weeks, I could feel like satisfying "bounce" the soles gave me, but that quickly faded. They aren't uncomfortable at this point, but they aren't the level of comfort you'd expect for the first year of a pair of shoes at this price.

I work 12 hour shifts at a hospital so need a lot of support. My usual shoes weren't cutting it and these had wonderful reviews. The support is excellent but for almost $150 I want comfort as well - the inside material feels rough and scratchy no matter what socks I wear, and for some reason these shoes make my feet sweat/are not breathable at all. They are a little clunky. I wanted to love them but I just don't

I work 12 hour shifts in a busy hospital, spending most of my time on my feet, and my go-to Brooks were no longer cutting; was having low back and inner knee pain and going through new shoes every 7 months. After a lot of research and a few recommendations I gave this brand a try. My first impression was that these are quite bulky (I understand that is all part of having a supportive shoe). They make my feet feel huge, like I could have sized down and they may still feel big (but would still be the right size, if that makes sense) - to the point I felt like I had to adjust the way I walk. The inside is not very soft/cushioned/comfy (in fact they almost feel rough/scratchy), and the tongue rubs my skin when wearing low-cut socks. The loops on the back of the shoe catch the bottom of my scrub pants and causes them to get stuck/bunch up several times a day and that drives me crazy. I also find that they are less breathable than other shoes I've worn -- the first night I wore them my feet were sweating and stinky (an issue I don't often have), so I had to buy different socks to accommodate. Those details aside the support is excellent - the heel is thick and they have a little "rock" to them to help distribute your weight which makes standing for extended periods less painful. My knees feel great after several hours of work. I haven't had any foot/arch pain wearing these. Overall, I am happy to know these shoes are so supportive and am eager to see how long they last (longevity was a big selling point based on others' reviews), but I am not in love with them as a whole. If your only concern is support and the a high price point and little details won't derail you, then yes, this shoe is worth it! But for me, I want the whole package -- support, complete comfort, breath-ability -- and I'm not sure this shoe was it, and trying an even more expensive shoe in this brand seems risky to me.

After about a month of wearing my Akasa, the thin rubber trim is peeling away from the underlying fabric in two places on one of the shoes. It is likely that the peeling will continue. On the positive side the shoes are relieving pain caused by a Morton's neuroma. If it were not for the defect, I would have given the shoe a higher rating.
