Just returned from a trip to Las Vegas and we did lots of walking. While overall exhausted, me feet and calves felt great and no soreness the next morning

I had the ARAHI 2 and they were great, except the sole was a little too soft and they tore after very little use. Hoka replaced them immediately with the ARAHI 3 and this version is more firm, while still maintaining the right amount of cushion. I have taken them on pavement and trail runs and even a HIIT class with no issues. They feel much more sturdy than the 2s, and are heavier, yet feel lighter with better response. I also noted that with the reduced cushioning I fell less prone to rollover on uneven pavement.

Trained and ran 6 marathons the past 4 years all on the exact same shoes by Saucony. Really liked the shoes and had zero problems with the shoes, or, my body. Per a tip from some running buddies, switched to Hoka and got a shoe as similar in specs as possible. WOW, these shoes are flat out faster. My tempo runs at same effort are faster. My sprints are faster. They feel nice and I have zero body ailments. 100 miles in and all smiles.

I typically wear 13 and have flat feet. This shoe fits me well. It took a little getting use to the shoe, but I love it now. The extra height from the cushion looks a little old manish but I don't really care since they are comfortable.

Bought as a gift for my husband based off of previous Hoka purchases . He has always loved the stability and cushioning . He wore these for several hours straight from the box and loved them immediately . They are very lightweight .
I'd also recommend:

From reading the reviews, I was a little nervous that this shoe would be too narrow for me as I tend to have a little wider feet. But, I ordered the size that I would usually order and it fit perfect. The first thing that I noticed was how light they are. Hands down, the lightest shoe that I have ever worn. It has really good support for someone like me who needs it. I have run and walked in them for an extensive period of time and my feet didn't hurt and I felt like I had a lot of support. This was my first time buying this brand, and I am going to be sticking with it.

I am 56 and had knee surgery (torn meniscus) on both knees within the last year. The first surgery was a breeze. The second was more complicated and the soreness and swelling lasted for a year. When I first tried running again, the pain and swelling were too much. I was thinking my running days were over. I went to a specialty running store and was fitted with a pair of Arahi 3's. The minute I ran on the sidewalk outside the store, I knew I had found my answer. Before the Arahi's I hoped to get back to running ten to twelve miles per week. Now two months later I am running twenty-five miles per week and am training for a half-marathon. The cushioning is superior to anything else I have worn. The rocker motion gets me out of the impact zone quickly and further saves the knee.

I have problems with my toes (arthritis) and this shoe is the BEST shoe ever. It fits perfect, holds my foot as it needs to be and while walking it moves perfectly as needed. I will buy this product and I am looking for others in your shoe line to purchase. You have fantastic fitting shoes

I was loyal to another brand...I won't bad mouth or name, as I do like their shoes. But, I was having some joint pain and discomfort when running, so I decided to try something new. After a few runs in the Arahi 3 my discomfort spots were greatly relieved. Moreover my joints felt good the next day after longer runs. I doubted a shoe could make that noticeable of a difference, but it did. I'm convinced!

Good and comfortable shoes. Very light and keep the feet cool. Not the softest cushion I have tried for Hoka's but definitely true to size in width. Generally, I find Hoka's to run a bit small. Try 1/2 size larger.

This is my 5th pair of Arahi's (3 gen one and 1 gen two) and the best yet. I actually preferred the 1s to the 2s, but, always wanted a little more room in the toe box and a more breathable upper. The 2s were a slight improvement in those areas, but, came with other issues. In fact, I was ready to consider moving to a different brand as I wasn't happy with the Arahi 2 anymore, but, decided to give them a shot after trying on some Altra and On Running offerings and not falling in love with anything. Fortunately HOKA tweaked the right places this time and nailed everything I was wanting in a shoe with this one. Glad I didn't give up on the Arahi as these are close to perfect for me. I was getting 400+ miles out of my Gen 1s so if these hold up like that I'll be in Hokas for a while now.

I have worn the Arahi 1 and 2 and this one (Arahi 3) is by and large the superior of the three. Arahi 1 slipped a lot, and Arahi 2 gave me terrible blisters. Hoka has caught their stride with this one. Just as a background, I also fit nicely into Brooks ravenna's to tell you a little bit about my foot and plant-type.

Not everyone is the same but this is the perfect shoe for me. I don't like the way my knee and hip joints jar with thick cushy shoes like the brooks glycerin. I love my Newtons but they were hard on my achilles and calf. This shoe is perfect, my sweetspot so to speak. The drop is low but not too low. They are cushy but not too cushy, in fact they are very responsive. I love the feel underfoot and I love the support the Arahi 3 provide. I've been waiting for this (without knowing it) and I am so glad to be running with comfort again.

have the Arahi that was selling on Zappos about one year ago per recommendation from my foot doctor who is an avid runner. Took his advice and are great shoes. He recommended a half size bigger because they tend to run small in size. Width is great as is the arch support for overpronator like me. Looking for advice on the Gaviota 2 as shown this year. Use them for indoor walking on gym track and have put plenty of miles on them in past year. Use for weight training and other gym activities 4x per week and have held up great since then. No issues and will be buying a new pair as these are about a year old but still look great and held up great too. Like the colors available in the Gaviota model and wonder if these are comparable to fit and other attributes of the Arahi I got last year.

Arahi 2 was good...Arahi 3 is that much better. The redesigned arch support is perfect. Love the feel, support, and looks. Runs about half a size large (I normally wear a 9.5...running in a 10.0).

This shoe is very stable you will notice it while your doing leg stretches very little side to side wobbly feeling. Meta rocker is pretty awesome definitely helps you keep your stride. I would really recommend this shoe to runners with sore feet because lack of cushioning trust me these shoes are very comfortable. Only problem I had with these is the color orange I ordered were a bit on the pink side had to exchange them and waiting for my exchange pair to arrive. As for sizing perfect sizing for my foot I wear 11.5 us and their 11.5 us fit perfect for me.

Great running shoe with solid pronation control. Very responsive while maintaining cushion. My only problem is the extreme stiffness of the shoe. You actually have to use some strength to bend the shoe in your hand. But it could just have to do with the pronation control, who knows. Regardless, a great shoe with lots of support and I would definitely recommend to anyone

Seemed comfortable but somewhat narrow. Not sure if they expand with use but didn't want to risk it so back they go.
