I've wrestled with alleged "overuse" issues for many seasons but now I really do think it was just my old shoes. After 10,000 miles in a certain model of a competitor brand, I was convinced everything was wrong with my feet, legs, shins, knees, ankles, back, ... Then after just 250 miles in the Arahi, years of pain began to dissolve. I'm now wrapping up the best month of my season. I love my Arahi 3s, they get at least 9 runs a week including the tempos. (5:45 minutes/mile to 6:30 minutes/mile).

The shoes were very comfortable/cushioned. Unfortunately I found out I have a tendon problem and these shoes are no good for what I need.

I needed a new pair of shoes to work out and walk in. My wife suggested Hoka. I had heard of them, but didn't know anything about the company. I went to a specialty running store, where I tried on a pair of Hoka, New Balance, and Saucony. The Hoka was the most comfortable. I've been wearing them for 2 months and love them. I will buy another pair when these wear out. The only negative is the foam on the sole. They tend to slip when walking on wet surfaces.

I haven't ran for years. Wore a pear of Hoka's back then and remembered their comfort. This shoe is more comfortable and easy on my feet than any shoe I've worn. I'm on my feet constantly coaching soccer. When I put these on for a run, I feel like I'm gliding. No pinched toes, no hot feet, not too wide or narrow, just a pure joy to run in. I'll prolly have to get another pair sooner than later, because I basically wear these all day now. Good stuff Hoka.

Bought the Arahi 2 last year & didn't love. The upper rubbed on the front, big toe corner of my foot. Kinda got better over time, but then the upper developed a hole in the same spot after about 6 months of 3-4 days/wk running. I returned them & Hoka gave me a credit to buy another pair. I was just about to switch brands, but decided to give it a go. So glad I did! 100% improvement. Even looks better. I'll get another pair when I wear these out.

I've been through a few other brands over the years and needed a really good stability shoe to counter the effects of collapsing arches and nagging shin splints. I switched to the Arahi 3 a year ago and haven't looked back...I've been running pain free for almost nine months! I easily crank out 40-50 miles a week and even took them up Pikes Peak for the Ascent this past month. They are the only shoes I wear - a pair for walking and two for running...yup...they're that good!

Ordered for my husband. He loves them. Favorite pair of shoes, probably will by another pair soon. He has bad knees, and it helps relieve some of the pain. He highly recommends these shoes.

Love the 3's, have helped me overcome long standing shin issues. Incredibly light and nimble for stability shoes. Responsive enough for moderate speed work but with enough support and cushion for long ones. Significant improvement in the upper breathability from the 2. Colorways continue to improve as well. Looking forward to the continuation of this series.

I am a practicing podiatrist in the New Jersey Area. I have been dealing with severe flatfoot since childhood and have only had luck with Asics and sometimes New Balance shoes. After wearing a pair of Hokas for 6 months now I am convinced that this specific company is the best in the marker. And the Arahi 3 is the best for ppl with severe pes planus. Few Years ago the Asics company had provided special discounts for podiatrists which resulted in podiatrists, residents, and students starting wearing only Asics. The result was that after looking at us, our patients, friends and family alike started wearing asics. I highly suggest Hoka employ the same marketing....either way. you have my endorsement for providing such an excellent product!

After many tries at finding a good shoe for flat feet, the Hoka Arahi 3 is the best. Plenty of support for walking, a jog, or a workout. I will get another pair!

I have not run in it yet. Since I started wearing Hoka one one's, I have stopped using prescription meds for my ankle( broke my ankle in 1983 and have a plate and two screws in it.

I bought these shoes in store, first time I ever heard of the brand at the time. Glad I decided to get out of my typical brand(s) cycle that hurt my feet no matter what model I bought. On top of that these shoes lasted 6 months with some life still left in them vs my typical 3 month with no extra life of the other brands I would buy. Keep up the qaulity and I'll keep buying.

I’d never heard of this brand but they looked great, teen son loves orange so ordered. He is very happy w these shoes. They look great and he says they’re very comfortable. He’s only worn a week so can’t comment re quality but hope they hold up thru school year. He plays football so not a runner so can’t comment.

Just got my second pair of the Arahi 3s so i thought I'd do a follow-up review. I put over 400 miles on my first pair and enjoyed every one of them. The fabric on the uppers held up well and the soles still have plenty of tread and cushion. I probably could have gotten quite a few more miles on them, but, I liked some of the new colors so decided to switch it up. I'm really happy with the 3s, I hope that this one sticks around for a while.

I run 3 days per week and average 20 miles each week. I am currently training for the L.A. marathon and I weigh over 220 lbs. The Arabic 3 shoe is very light weight, but it absorbs the pounding. I use to run in the bondi 5. A great shoe, but it had too much cushion for me and I didn't always feel a connection to my running surface. I've only had the shoes for a month, So far I have no complaints.
