I started walking about two months ago, I read about Hokas online and decided to give them a try. I have a flat feet so I was looking for cushion and support. These shoes now turned into my work shoes since I'm on my feet all day. They work great for me and have plenty of cushioning, well worth the money!

These seemed to fit in length and width but the heels rubbed too much to be comfortable or wearable. they'll need to be returned.

I like the look if the shoe but it doesn't feel wide enough even though I purchased a wide width.

I think these shoes may have been mislabeled with the incorrect size possibly. Both my husband and I wear a 9.5 in mens and women respectively and we are usually pretty true to size. He ordered a 9.5 mens in this shoe and it was very tight and small for him, and it fit me perfectly (unfortunately I don't need another pair of Hokas). It doesn't actually say mens or women on the box, but there is the letter "M" before the work Gaviota2, printed on the box and in the shoe as "M GAVIOTA 2". So this may mean it's a mens shoe in the box, but bottom line, it was very small on him so we reordered an entirely different Hoka mens shoe for him. When I tried the shoe on, I felt it had a strong arch support (which I need) but the insole did not feel as plush and resilient as the Hoka Arahi that I wear in my nursing job (they're great for on your feet all day), so these are being returned and replaced by a different shoe. Love the Zappos return ease.

I have used the Bondi 6 before, this time I am trying he Gaviota 2 as per your recommendation from your questionaire . ( Normally I would have just gone with the Bondi 7) The verdict is still out until I break them in. At the moment they feel tight width wise.
Thanks
PS what happened to the bright yellow HOKA logo on the shoe as shown on the web site.

This shoes has more stability than the Arachi. The support if phenomenal. I have metatarsal issues so I do find the padding is not quite adequate for my foot situation which is the only reason I gave four stars. With that being said, I am still keeping them!

Hoya One One shoes are very comfortable and I have owned 4 pairs. However, every pair I have worn for very long gets a hole in the toe (my husbands have done the same). I would like to see a toe structure change so this doesn't happen!

I love the fit and performance of the Gaviata 2. This is my fourth pair. Great cushion and support while maintain a light weight. My only improvement is that the tread wears down much quicker that my previous running shoes so I am replacing more often.

So far so good , however my last purchase was good as well for the 1st three months , then the side of my shoes ripped out. Love the way the shoes feel as long as they hold up

Nice shoe, rather stiff with little flexibility. In time I'm hoping that will improve!! I did purchase another style that Hoka offers and that pair is amazingly comfortable and has so much support!! I would buy that shoe again!!!

Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. My only complaint is that after two months of wearing these, a lot of the sole have worn smooth.

Shoe was a quality shoe, but it rubbed in certain spots and created foot issues.

Product is high quality and as advertized except i have ordered 2e and it's still little tight in the toe box but not tight enough to cause any irritation. Over all satisfied.

I loved the original graviota and wanted to find that shoe. The graviota 2 is also a great supportive shoe for a supinator. The original lacing system was way better in being able to be adjusted and the laces did not require a double not to stay laced. No matter how tightly the bow is tied, after a short while it is totally undone. Pretty annoying. Hoka is definitely the best shoe for my type of foot.

I'm a bigger guy (6'3", 300+ lbs) starting to run. I assumed that I would need a stability shoe. I bought these and the Clifton Edge. When I tried the Gaviota 2, I found the midsole to be a little too firm for me and I also learned that I supinate and have a pretty high arch. I started to lose sensation in my forefoot after the run was done. I suppose that if you pronate you'll love these shoes. Just not the right fit for me. I love the colorway though.

I was unable to try this show on locally and was worried about returning online. But I feel in love when I wore them for the first time and didn't want to part with them. I may need the next size up next time. I definitely feel like I'm walking on a cloud
