I wear a women’s 8.5-9 wide and decided to try a men’s 7.5 to see if it would fit my wide pronating feet better. As soon as I tried these on and walked around I was impressed. Have worn them everyday for a week at work where I walk a lot and my feet have not ached or felt tired.

These shoes are awesome! I’ve been dealing with plantar fasciitis for 5 years, and right out of the box, these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve put on in some time - maybe ever. Nothing I have tried over the last 5 years has helped - and I’ve tried many many different shoes. The support is great. I have wide feet and they have the wide option - awesome. Super comfy. Pretty stylish too. I’m super happy I purchased these. Hoka!

I’ve always been a fan of brooks but wanted something with a bit more cushion as I needed something to support me while standing 10-12 hours a day. I had been given numerous recommendations on Hokas but didn’t really like the looks of them until I came across the Akasas. So far I can say these shoes fit like a glove and are like walking on clouds. In terms of comfort, they are far superior to my brooks ghost but I’m concerned about the lack of grip on the sole. So if running on a wet surface I would just be extra cautious. Other than that these shows are amazing and I would recommend these to anyone looking for a well cushioned shoe. I would compare the cushion to be similar to that of the Clifton’s but in my opinion, the Akasas are more appealing in terms of looks, but if that doesn’t matter to you both are great shoes.

I ordered these because I had foot and ankle discomfort after exercise. A friend recommended the brand. I can't believe the difference they made. I am painfree and enjoying exercise again.

My first pair of Hoka's were great. This model has some concerning issues. 1) SHORT LIFESPAN - I've had them for less than 8 weeks and they are feeling like their ready for end of life. I walk just about everyday but nothing to an extreme. 2) SAFETY - incredibly slippery and not recommended for any slick surface. I fell today and that is part of the urgency for this review. I would not want my parents walking in these.

Love the Fit of this Style and Model. Overall Hoka One One is a brand I keep coming back to for all my shoe needs. I work on my feet for 13 hours a day so it is a necessity to have a great supportive pair of shoes. This specific style is a little more sleek with less branding text on the shoes.

This could just be the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Snug, supportive and light.

My husband has been very happy with these shoes. He has diabetes-related foot issues and he's done really well with these shoes. Excellent buy. Fair price.

I use these shoes for work. I am on my feet alot and need comfortable shoes. I ordered a men's wide because the women's weren't wide enough. My feet are wide in the front and I have bunions. These don't hurt at all. I love the gray color because I wear gray and black pants for work. I will buy these again.

I have had several pairs of Hoka shoes and they do not disappoint. They have really helped with lower back pain and now even have a pair I wear exclusively indoors. Highly recommend

Been buying my family Hoka's for 3 yrs now! We all have over 3 pairs each. Best shoes ever. They provide comfort and stability like an orthopedic shoe while looking sporty and trendy. Forever a fan!

I'm 6'2" 260, wear a 14 Wide, and was skeptical on the wear of the Akasa's when I first saw them. My first pair lasted 10 months with frequent use and just received my 2nd pair. They're not too soft yet not too stiff; just right down the middle. The material is breathable and very comfortable. My only knock on them is that I wish there were more colors! Please add colors!

Almost as perfect underfoot as the Clifton but doesn't have the large footprint and the sole bottom doesn't have the hard rubber additions for traction and durability, wears down faster and can be a bit slippery when wet.. Why get it? It looks good enough to wear around in town, out to a casual restaurant or for casual Friday, stands up to a 10 mile walk or an easy run no problem, superlight and cool on the feet, feels great all day. If you love wearing Hokas this is a great shoe to have. If you are looking for one Hoka to run in, I'd give the Clifton the nod. But this is the shoe I like to wear around all the time, and use a pair of Cliftons for long runs/walks, though the Akasa can cover that too.

The shoe is extremely comfortable but the sole wears out way to soon. My last pair only lasted 7 weeks. I am active but the Biondi's would at least last 3 months before the sole wore out

I was disappointed in the product I received. The shoes were heavier than I expected and the form of the shoe felt as if I were walking on my heals with the front portion of my foot elevated more than I was use to with other tennis shoes. I normally use Nike RN Free - which are extremely light-weight and flexible. These shoes seemed more ridged and stiff. I have heard wonderful things about your product, but was disappointed by what I received. I did return the shoes for a refund and appreciate your return policy.

The description reads that this shoe is balanced and plush. It has felt plush at all, The bondi shoes that I normally buy have been very good so I will stick with those and send these back.

These Hoka shoes are the best all around walking/running shoes I have ever used. I highly recommend them to anyone who is older and still wanting to be active.

I've been a loyal customer of another brand until now! As a runner I was nervous about switching shoes but had heard so many good things about Hoka, and I'm glad I did. I struggle with many feet related issues due to running throughout the year. I actually only purchased this style because the other model was on backorder and these were on clearance. I haven't taken them off since. Love Love Love these shoes. Its like running on a cloud.
