I bought these for my husband who has a hard time finding comfortable running shoes in the right width. He loves these shoes! They are comfortable and he wears them all the time. I wish they had more colors other than that, great buy for the money.

I was looking for a versatile athletic shoe that was both light and breathable; but robust and solid for working out at the gym. The AKASA provides stability and facilitated lateral movement. It is very comfortable and stylish for long walks and casual wear , etc.

Great shoe

I have plantar fasciitis and a bone spur on one of my heels, so needless to say, every day walking for any distance was painful. Since discovering Hoka,I am completely pain free and walk 3 miles at least 5 days a week. This is my 7th pair of Hokas, different styles, and they are by far the best shoe I have ever owned.

Until this shoe, Bondi 6,7 were only Hokas that didn't hurt my feet. I have to have the plush sole. I wanted a different look for the summer while wearing shorts. These feel great! Light, airy, and PLUSH. Sorry Bondis. You have the summer off.

Casual walking,it's very comfortable,no dislikes

It was our first pair. We are super pleased.

On feet all day on concrete floors. These shoes are very comfortable especially when walking. The fit is just right. Enough snugness but not tight. Well ventilated.

I'm a recent survivor of a recent heart attack. Part of my regimen to recovery is having to make healthy choices. Walking in my my HOKAS feels like I have springs in my shoes. I use them everyday as a part of my daily exercise program. The fit, the weight and the comfort are superb. The way they made a shoe for my (flat/wide) feet was easy. I love everything about these shoes.

Great casual but supportive shoes. Look good, and feel great. Five stars.

Since the day I got these, they became my main walking shoes. Worth the price. Jury is out on how well they wear.

Stiffer sole and more support with this model. Surprisingly tight when I first put them on. I thought I should send them back and get a larger size. After ten minutes they felt fine and have been wearing them in rotation with my other HOKAs. I should buy a few pairs, in case they stop making them.

I'm a heavy runner and I roll out..for years I've had a pain on the side of my leg from the outside of my calf up my sciatica..I ran in these shoes for several month's not thinking of anything..I forgot my running shoes and used my gym shoes..ran 3 miles..the next day I woke up and felt that same old pain...what I thought was just a pain that comes with running..was not..it was bad shoes..for a heavy runner..I only run in these shoes ..the pain is gone..if it comes back it's time for new shoes...

I use this shoe when walking on a concrete trail. Feet still feel refreshed at the end of a 5 mile walk.

I have foot issues and these are the only sneakers I am able to consistently wear pain free. They were recommended by my podiatrist to order in wide width.

I have heel issues and these shoes help that problem. The shipping was fast and your customer service was first class. My first pair was too narrow and too small. going up one width and a half size was perfect. Thank you for your help. My choices below are referring to the first pair which you exchanged.

The Akasa shoes fit well and feet quite comfortable. I have had bilateral foot surgeries and Hoka are the only shoes I can wear and not feel pain. My surgeon recommended your shoes to me. I bought a pair of Cliftons that were too narrow. I gave them to a friend. She said that the shoes were the first pair of shoes she wore that never gave her pain. My giving her the shoes made my heart feel good.

I don't like them as much as the Bondi but I do like them. You never seem to have my size in the Bondi (5W) I do REALLY miss the Bondi 4. LOVE this store gets to me fast!
