I needed a lighter gortex to throw in my bag for adventures and this is now my go too! It doesn't take up to much room in my bag and keeps me happy hiking, biking or just dog walking.

Bought this jacket to use hiking and for fly fishing under my waders. This has quickly become my go to outer layer for fall as it keeps me dry and insulated from the wind. Wander is a stunning colour in person!!

I bought this jacket last season and it is by far my most used jacket. I live in BC where it's very rainy, I use it on the trail, it doesn't make me sweaty, keeps me nice and dry. I'm tall (5'10") and I find the XL perfect. Lots of room for layers and long enough to cover my bum. Great jacket.

Bought this jacket to use as a rain shell for hiking in wild vancouver weather. It certainly does the trick - keeps me nice and dry. No frills jacket without pit zips so you get a bit sweaty. Love the hood as well

I bought this in the color 'Wander' specifically for a 17 day trip to Uganda during their 'short rains' season. The color was perfect for safari, the virtual weightlessness was perfect for gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking, and it was very flattering to wear at dinner when walking to the lodge during massive thunderstorms. Great all-round rain shell- my first Arcteryx purchase, but certainly not my last.

This is my first Arcteryx product, definitely not my last! Great quality. I wasn't sure if I should order a medium or a large but went with the large so I would have room to wear a fleece lining or a sweater with it without feeling constricted. It is a bit big but it's not necessarily baggy. It fits well to the body. I am 5'10 and this jacket covers most of my bottom when standing, which is nice! I purchased this in the colour Verra and it's gorgeous.

Just received my jacket which I bought to replace one I purchased 12 years ago. This one has a more feminine fit but is also cut smaller (both XL) with slightly lighter material. Not to criticize the jacket which I am totally happy with but the extra room was nicer as I could wear it over a heavy sweater or down coat.

Some rain jackets tend to have a crunch to them, and can get uncomfortable. Not this jacekt! Very comfortable, light weight, obviously water proof. My ONLY characteristic that I am missing is a chest pocket (why do the boys only get theses?!) and a stuff sack.

Great for walking, particularly in our almost daily spring showers. Waterproof and a good fit, especially over a light jumper/fleece. Love this product

I'm really pleased with this jacket. I bought it to replace a slightly heavier-weight raincoat which I often pair with an insulated jacket for walks and hikes. This does the job fantastically and is more breathable than my last jacket. I love the cut and the detailing in the tailoring - sounds like a small point but it does make a difference! I'm 5ft4in and size 8 -10 - it covers my bum and there's enough room for an insulated jacket or other thick layer. Fab!

I bout this about 2 months ago and wear it daily to work on the west coast. Though I'm not in the rain all day everyday, the days I am I have been dry inside this coat. I've had other cheaper rain coats and have never managed to not be soaked though on the wet days. Only con is it does not have vents under the arms. Excellent choice for the light weight and waterproof-ness

I can see myself using this jacket for years to come! Here's why: Function: This is meant to be used as an emergency shell for unexpected rain and using it for exactly that allows this jacket to perform flawlessly every time. I had purchased the Beta AR earlier on in the year and was looking to buy a rain jacket that was more packable and lightweight so that I could pull it out of my pack only when needed and this jacket does exactly that. I was a bit skeptical with the Gore-Tex Paclite Plus fabric used for this jacket because I've heard and seen reviews that show this jacket delaminating prematurely but if you use this shell for its specific purpose (and not just as a windbreaker literally every single day) it should last you quite a while! The jacket is treated with DWR and is waterproof and the water beads up and rolls off just as you'd expect from any other Gore-Tex shell. The water resistant zippers down the front and on the pockets also do a good job of preventing water from getting in. Keep in mind that there is no inner breast pocket to this jacket because it's a lightweight piece but the side pockets are roomy enough to fit a large smartphone and whatever else you need to carry. Fit: For reference, I am 5'3", 120 lbs, and I'd say this jacket fits true to size. I wear XS in the Proton LT, XS in the Atom LT (2020 version - I wear S in the 2019), and wear an XS in the Beta AR. With an XS, I'm able to layer a fleece underneath without the jacket feeling snug. I have also tried on the jacket in S and for someone with my body dimensions, the S is a bit roomier and the sleeves are much longer. The jacket is shorter in the front and longer in the back allowing for a full range of motion. The hood is deep but still gives good visibility (you can cinch the hood tighter in the back and the velcro cuffs allows you to adjust them to however tight or loose you want them. Feel: The shell is definitely one of the less "crunchier" fabrics of the Gore-Tex line (compared to Gore-Tex Pro for example) but still makes a bit of a crinkle sound like you'd expect from any good waterproof rain jacket. The jacket isn't too stiff and will definitely soften out a bit over time. I have the jacket in the colour "Zephyr" and it's a tad bit more grey than blue as listed on the site which makes it a great alternative to the colour Helix. Shells made with Gore-Tex Paclite Plus should be treated with special care as sweat and oils from the body can cause it to delaminate faster. With proper care and maintenance using technical gear detergent (and re-waterproofing detergent when needed), this jacket makes for the perfect lightweight shell in emergencies!

carried this jacket 2200miles along the PCT. Ran into snow, hail, wind, freezing rain, down pours and it was my go to for extra protection. I was hesitant to buy it initially due to price point and weight but carrying it was the best decision I made. For the weight, its impressively durable, and yes, it did start to wear down on the inside of the pockets but that was after six months of hard use. I plan to abuse this until it disintegrates. I don't know of a better light weight protective layer on the market.

Last year I bought a couple of Arc'teryx pieces for the wintertime and I loved them. When I realized that I needed a lightweight raincoat, I decided to check them out again and found this. It's amazing. I wanted a lightweight rain coat with a little room for layering underneath if needed, and I wanted a coat that is completely waterproof and would hold up in the city or on the trails. This one fits the bill completely. It's very light and repels water like oil. I'm 5'5" with a curly build, an hourglass figure (size D bra and size 12/14 pants). I don't weight myself so I'm sorry I won't be of much help there. I have previously bought Arc'teryx jackets in XL because they're made for thinner, less curvy people, so I bought an XL for the rain coat. Obviously, if you look at the picture, I could have sized down to a Large for a less roomy fit or a Medium for a snug fit, so consider that range and the fit you want when you purchase. I kept an XL because I do plan on putting a non-water repellant winter Arc'teryx jacket underneath it in the cooler months. The color I purchased is teal. It's great jacket and flattering on my figure even though it's quite oversized. it repels rain like nobody's business. I have honestly never been so dry walking in the rain before than I have been wearing this jacket. It has big pockets and is super lightweight, perfect for hikes or runs in the warmer months. It's a bit pricy but honestly I was sick of buying cheap, poor quality jackets and this one was worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and get it!

I bought this a month ago as a layering piece for my Cerium LT hoody and it's great. It's great for layering, but doesn't look bulky. It's adjustable and I really like the length; a bit longer in the back.

I bought coat to go hiking. You know if your a hiker its not a hike if you dont run into rain. When they say its waterproof they mean. I bought coats before that are waterproof and im soaked after walking in the bush from wet leaves and branches. Percent coat for my kinda hikes. I also got the pants and they work great too

Works excellent to block the wind and the rain! I'm an avid hiker in the Canadian rocky mountains and was looking for a good, durable rain jacket. Well I found the perfect one! It fits great in length (I have a longer torso) and the hood fits on my head even if I'm wearing a toque. love it! Highly recommend

Brought this on a 6 day canoe trip in Algonquin Park. Kept me dry in torrential rain & worked as a wind breaker for chilly August mornings on the lake. Also lightweight enough to wear as protection on buggy portages. I am very happy with this purchase.

This lightweight gem packs a big punch! It's practical -- waterproof, windproof, and packable (super light-weight), and it's amazingly flattering to the figure. It does the job well, and takes up very little room in the backpack. It's also roomy enough to allow for some layering underneath. The arms and shoulders fit me perfectly. I'm 5'9" 142 lbs with an athletic build and the Medium fits perfectly. I ordered the Neoflora color, and was pleasantly surprised that this color is a little more punchy in person. It's also versatile and seems to go well with lots of other colors. Thank you Arcteryx for the fabulous gear that performs but looks great too!
