Material of shoe is a little stiff but I feel that has to do with the price of the shoe. My higher priced athletic shoes are made of softer materials. I do not know how, in the long run, that will affect the comfort and wear of the shoe. Only time will tell

I wore these shoes in my house as soon as they arrived. Initially I thought they were comfortable. After a few hours however, I realized that the toe area was crunched. Even though I ordered a Wide width, the shoe narrows at the lower toe area. I did return these shoes the same day. Zappos has been great and offer a great return policy, even sating that I could wear these shoes for 3 months and then return them if they still felt uncomfortable. I love Zappos and am happy that they take good care of their customers. I will look for a shoe with a more rounded toe. Thanks Zappos!

A new ASICS style for me but sole flares out at the heel futher than I like. With size 11 feet, I tend to catch my heel when going down steps if the heel sole protrudes too much. The search continues for something with a less flared sole base. Back to Gel Venture 6 except I wanted white/light color for summer.

I need a wide shoe and ordered this in the D width. The sole is narrower than the upper and the upper is so soft that my little toes bulge out over the sole! The fabric part of the upper is very thin. I think these would have holes in them pretty quickly! Also my heel tends to rise up when I walk unless I use the loop in the top 2 holes method of lacing which drives me nuts taking on and off. Have to send them back.

Had the 4..s tried the 5 same issue cramped right pinky. wears on it just right. this used to be my go to shoe. Moving on to Brooks.

A bit too small in width and I have never had to get a double wide in shoes before this pair.

Beautiful color. Was a very cute shoe. would be great for casual use. I needed more support .

Disappointed. I have this style of ASICS in a size 8, but this pair was too narrow in the toe box. My “pinky” toe was pressed up against the side of the shoe.

I ret'd my purchase. I ordered 8W, and they felt too snug. I have the same size in the Contend 4 [different color], and they are much more comfortable.

Length was good. Ordered a wide, however, it wasn't wide enough. After wearing all mesh New Balance - the Asics feel pretty rigid.

I have bought 3 pair of ASICS and these did not feel as well when walking in them. I had to go back to my old pair of ASICS . I walk 5 miles a day. My heels hurt, my ankles hurt in these shoes. I walked in them 2 weeks and I had to stop walking . My feet hurt so bad I had to soak my feet and rub my feet with alcohol before I could walk again. I want be buying this ASICS shoe again.

I am so sad to have had to return these. My podiatrist highly recommends Asics (and Brooks), but I found every style of Asics to be too narrow and cast-like for my feet. I guess I am used to a lighter weight shoe and more room for my little piggies. I prefer Saucony for the room in the toebox, and like the New Balance Arishi shoes for their lightweight. I felt like my foot was suspended in an odd position in the Asics and could not wait to take them off. They may work very well for someone with normal width feet who uses orthotics or needs substantial support.

Returning. Sort of like bricks with shoelaces, absolutely no give in the sole, like walking on concrete.

I ordered these shoes in my normal size and width (9.5 W), and they were way too small and narrow. I’ve ordered ASICS before, and normally they were very comfy but I didn’t care for this pair. Back to the drawing board for a new pair of running shoes!

I love Asics and buy them regularly, but for some reason, this version actually hurt my feet. I knew about 2 runs in they were just not made the same.

I bought this shoe because the shoe I usually buy was out of stock. It is narrower than I want and it hurts my bunion on my right foot. The shoe also feels shorter than other Asics. Very disappointed.

I have always been able to order my size (9.5 wide) in ASICS and know they will fit well. These were incredibly snug, I was barely able to put them on. The heel squeezed my foot, the toe box pinched, and they were all around quite uncomfortable. Had to return.

This is a nice looking shoe but the sizing is horribly off! I first ordered my normal size 7. Those were too short inside. Re-ordered 7 1/2,and these are too long. I've tripped twice. They are too wide. My gosh I'm not sure how to go about this. Guess I'll just find a different shoe all together.

Zappos' service, as always, was excellent, but I am disappointed, again, with the fit of these Asics running shoes. I have worn Asics for years and they keep changing models and fit, making the toe box area narrower and narrower. I tried my regular 8 1/2 size and they were too narrow, so thought I would try the WIDE 8 1/2 - still too narrow in the toe! Don't know that I will be wearing Asics at all anymore.
