Good overall fit and cushion, I have high arches and this shoe felt better than some of the $100 pairs.

I didn't keep these because I decided I didn't like them but they were very comfortable in trying them on.

I've been purchasing ASICS Gel series for years, and I've always been pleased with the fit, quality and durability. This particular model is a bit stiffer (greater stability) than I prefer, but overall an excellent running show, and an exceptional value! I run a LOT, both on paved surfaces and trails, and sometimes run long distances (up to half-marathon). These have held up just fine, and remain comfortable.

I switched back to Asics after a yearlong stint trying "other" brands and SO glad that I did. The Gel-Contend 5's are perfect right out of the box...no break in time needed. This new pair replaces my worn Gel-Contend 4's and they are equally as comfortable, cushy and supportive with the same moderate arch support. I have bony, skinny, no arch feet. The Gel Contends provide lofty, deep cushion that is MUCH needed for me. I will stick with these forever so long as they don't change anything. For the record.... All Asics tend to run small. I am a size 8 in everything, but a 9 in all Asics. Sizing up is highly recommended..

The fit is perfect. Love the style and the look.

Loved the color since I mainly wear blue jeans. Fit was true and the material was comfortable enough to not irritate my bunion.

For the price the are very comfortable.

These felt true to size. I have very narrow feet and the width was perfect for me.

I like ASICS. The mess material helps with comfort and the insole and foot bed gives me enough support. But if I want to replace Insole with an orthotic insert there’s plenty a room. I have tried other brands but this is my go to.

I really wanted to keep these sneakers but they were not true to size since they felt very tight and although I could have returned them for a half size larger, I felt that they would have been too big. Unfortunately, my past experience with ASICS is that they do run small.

7.5 felt a bit small, but after couple of days walking they became alright. Next pair I'd buy half size larger (8).

Comfortable and good support for my medium arch. Ordered my normal 8 in asics but this one is about half size to small and will be returned for a larger size.

These shoes had good support, but felt like they run about 1/2 size small.

very comfortable for teen with tender heels. great shoe for PE class.

These seemed a little narrower than my other Asics but it could be that they are now quite old! However, they are not uncomfortable and I saw no need to return. I use them for exercise class.

Overall a good shoe. Best arch support I've found this season! And I've tried on a lot of shoes and chose this one! The more I wear them the more they break in and feel better. Good shoe for circuit training classes.

I bought these for my teen to run cross-country in. She has narrow feet, and Asics are usually a good fit for that. These looked great and she loved how cushioned the footbed was. We did have to go up a half size to give enough room in the toebox for running. Bought a second pair as backups; good shoe.

Great price, looks good. Felt a little shorter than my last pair of Asics.

Cute, squishy, non-structured shoe. I wouldn’t run or walk any distance at all in this shoe (I over pronate), but it’ll be comfortable and great for knocking around in.

Loved the shoe but returned for 1/2 size larger. Looked great on my wide foot but just a little too snug.

I like them overall. The back is higher than Im used to so I got blisters, but thats just because they arent my normal running shoe. My feet will get used to them. I like them for running.
