love the boots and I ordered a larger size already. Need to return this size 9.

I love these boots! I have three pair of them. I love the suede, the strips that are tied in knots are fun. Someone complained that the ties broke but I've never found a reason to mess with them. They have a zipper entry. Really cute, I'm blowing my budget on them but they're so worth it. The black is pretty and the front is roughed up as described, the navy looks great with jeans and they hold up well because I've had these a few years. Then I went nuts and bought the ginger, beautiful color. If I had any complaints, I wish the arch support was a bit better but I have great inserts.

I purchased these in green in October 2022 & happily wore them all winter. When I started wearing them this season, I noticed that my heel was sinking down. There are hollow chambers made of crepe below the foot pad (see photo) and over time, they became compressed. I filled the hollow spaces in the heel with hot glue and I can wear the boots again but, having this happen to $135 shoes was more than disappointing. I also need to glue the sole under the toes (see photo) because it’s starting to separate & sometimes catches when I walk. Despite all that, I still love these & I wear them all the time.

I absolutely LOVE these boots! I have a wide footbed so I was concerned, but I ordered a size up and I wear a thinner (merino) sock and they are a perfect fit. They look adorable and I get tons of compliments. I will most likely order another pair in a different color soon!

Super cute casual booties! Ankle socks do show through the holes, but it’s not a big deal. The heel area is a bit wide, like others described—tightening the leather straps helps. I have two other Born booties that are size 7 because I’ve found Born typically runs big, but I had to get 7.5 in these.

I love these boots. I bought them in brown and, returned them and sized up. I decided to get the black as well. The black ones had sort of a “squeak” when you walked. I’m exchanging them and hoping for the best.

Last year I tried on another boot like them with a different trim one size smaller than I usually wear at a DSW store because they didn't have my size and it was to short and hurt my toes. I went to Zappos and ordered my size and they were a little loose but, I love them and wear them ALL the time. This is the 2nd winter I have been wearing them.

I bought these for my daughter a few years ago and she asked for another pair foor her holiday gift. She is thrilled the style, size and quality have remained consistent. As a hair stylist, she is on her feet a lot and these boots are comfortable enough for a lond day of standing and are also very cute and stylish.

I really liked these shoes but a 9.5m were too tight in my arches. Zappos didn’t have these in a wide, so I reordered directly from Born Shoes. 9.5W fit great, love them. I do think they run short for the size. Easy order and returns.

I actually like these booties, had too get an 11 in size, the 10 was too small. I usually wear a 10 in born boots and booties, tighten strap on booties and they fit fine, love the blue color…

I almost didn't buy these due to the reviews on the heel fit. But they were so cute I found myself looking at them over and over. Finally I clicked the purchase button. I LOVE them. They fit right out of the box. No issues whatsoever and I have been wearing only these ever since I received them last week. They are somewhat looser in the heel but I feel the looseness is more around the ankle than the heel itself. My feet do not slide around uncomfortably at all. I am a realtor and often need to remove my shoes during the day. I've found I can slide them off without unzipping although I do need to unzip to put them back on without damaging them. I only wish I had bought them sooner and not worried so much about the reviews!

Tarklin is my all time favorite bootie. This is my second pair. They a comfortable from the git go, run true to size. I love the style too. I don’t normally write reviews, however I can’t gush on these enough.

I ordered the grey distressed color which is definitely more on the brown side. Ok with me as it goes with my fall outfits. I usually wear a 7.5 and have a wide foot. These fit well out of the box, with no blisters or break-in. I’d initially ordered an 8 after reading reviews but even with socks, the 7.5 is a better fit. Leather is soft and doesn’t rub my bony ankles. Insole is removable if you want to use your own orthotics.

I believe Borne shoes run a size smaller. I returned my 10 for 11. It fits.

I take an 8 in Keens and a 9 in Nike, ordered a 8.5 in these—perfect. I don’t mind the loose ankle fit. I wouldn’t wear to do a long walk, but just around the house and errands they are fine. I can slide them off and on without undoing the zipper. Very cute and comfy right out of the box.

I read that these boots ran 1/2 size small, so order up. Not so much.

i ordered my size that i normally wear and when i received them they were a size too small, but sent back reordered and have my new ones and they fit great

These boots are incredible! I love, love, love them! They are so cute and go with anything ... and they do well in the snow. Love the color and the style ... just everything - highly recommended!

These boots are not grey, they are brown. That needs correcting. I have them in black and brown and wanted grey.

I have 5 pair of Born boots/sandals. They never disappoint. The comfort of these shoes is beyond any I’ve ever tried. They are unique. I haven’t seen any others that fit my style the ways these do. I’m usually an 8 1/2 but a 9 fits perfectly. Never experienced a break-in period with their leather. Extremely pleased!

I’m pretty happy with this shoe; I wanted something casual with an updated toe shape (no pointy toe, no heavy utility boot style). Other than a slight pokey piece of the zipper, these shoes are very comfortable. The first time I wore them was to a botanic garden where I did a lot of walking, and when I got home I kept them on for another few hours while I worked around the house. I saw the reviews that it ran small, but I’m a solid 8 in Born, and this shoe was true to size for me.
