I loved this boot, but it was far too wide in the ankle and heel.

I own quite a few pair of Born boots and love them. But, this design doesn't work. There's no good way to snug up the fit.

Large in the heel. My foot slipped too much to keep them. VERY CUTE style.

Super cute boots with traditional Born quality. Unfortunately, as other customers mentioned the heel is very wide. The shoe flopped as though it were two sizes too big :(

Great item but poor fit. I actually bought 3 pairs of these. I am a true 9.5 and I thought my first pair was cut incorrectly because one side fit so much tighter. Second pair was the same. I’ve never had this issue before but actually had tried another pair of Born boots with the opposite side feeling tight on width. The 9.5s were floppy on me. They are a full finger worth/inch of room in the heel. Sizing down was too small and the pair of 9s looked like they had been worn. There is a nice cushion under the forefoot and I liked the look/ease of putting on. No heel. Lots of pluses but still didn’t work for me.

I can vary in sizes 8.5 , 9 . The 8.5 fit well in the overall length but , I have to agree, wide in the heel. I think I will try what another reviewer recommended, an inexpensive heel patch from Walmart. I would not be able to wear these in a size 8 . Have not decided to wear barefoot or with a sock, as the side openings are much more revealing than a normal bootie.

I should have read the reviews, because they all referred to the loose fit in the heel. That's exactly what I found too. They are super cute, and comfortable except for the fit in the heel, so I am returning them.

I really wanted to like this boot. I love the style and details! I am normally a size 8 which I first ordered. That size was too small, so I returned and ordered a half size larger. The size fit fine, but the top of the boot is so low, that it was just hanging open and I did not like the look. Plus, it didn't provide ankle support. I want a boot I can easily slip on and walk in natural areas, that are many times uneven. This boot, unfortunately, didn't provide was I was looking for.

The problem with these adorable shoes is that they slip off your heel. When your walking, you will be constantly slipping and rubbing which I believe will create blisters. I like the style, but even with an insert, I can't make them so they don't slip. I needed a walking boot these aren't going to work.

I so wanted these shoes to work for me! I have 3 pairs of Born shoes and I love the way they fit and look. All of my other pairs are a size 11, so I was confident that these boots would work out well for me, but for some reason a size 11 in these are too small, squishing my big toe, so I had to return them.

I read the other reviews and decided to try a size smaller, normally an 8-1/2. They are so attractive but everyone was right, even a size smaller the heel lifts. Then when you walk, your toes shove to the front. I may try a size larger but I'm afraid the heel will be even larger. So sorry to have to return them.

I have owned other Born boots and always wear a 10. These feel like 9-1/2. Will exchange.

I ordered these in two sizes - first in a 7 and next in a 6 1/2. My size is a seven. Both were too wide in the heel. I bought heel inserts, but they were still too wide and slipped. They are great looking shoes, and I am disappointed that they do not fit.

The leather was scratched when I received them so sent them back. I liked the style and color but not the material.

Super cute boots. The length (size 8) was perfect, but they were too narrow and squeezed my feet from the sides. My feet do run a little on the wide side, but a medium width typically fits. Not with these boots.

I wanted to love these - they are super cute. But they are very narrow across the ball of the foot - I couldn't even get them on if I was wearing socks. So, back they go.

I loved these boots and wanted them to work. Very comfortable and super cute. Alas, as other reviewers mentioned, the heels are so wide I could lift my foot out without unzipping. They had to go back.

Loved these boots, well mostly.....Just what I was looking for as far as looks, style etc. BUT the heel was huge for me. Even putting on socks didn't help-I was still walking out of them. The size was true but I couldn't keep them because of the heel issue.

Unfortunately, the other reviewers are right. The heel on this bootie is so wide I could put both hands in with my foot. No socks could correct that much extra width. Too bad beause the rest of the round toe bootie is very attractive and lightweight. The light brown color is a golden brown color, not a neutral "natural" at all. Length feels fine in my usual Born size, and the sole feels like it would hold on to snow and ice nicely. Too bad the heel is sooooo wide . . . I have about 8 pairs of Born booties and none are like this.

I love the style of this boot, but it ran large and wide for me especially slipping in the heel. I am a size 8 regular and I am going to order a 7.5 and hope it fits. Of course it is out of stock now!

Very cute boot. Couldn't wait to get them. Then could not wait to get them off. One fit but was very stiff and the other was way too small and stiff. What a shame.

I tried both the 7 as it was too small in the toes and then exchanged for the 7.5 and it was too wide in the heel and flopping - I could not send it back easily without calling in/texting to zappos because I did an exchange and instead of placing the first amount back on my cc they put it on my amazon account and now they're giving me a gift card instead of crediting back to my original payment - I will never do an exchange again and hope they will please not give a gift card but credit back to my cc - not currently happy as long time zappos customer

As a few other reviews have noted, the heel of this boot was rather loose on me and my foot kept slipping out. For what it is worth, I do have rather narrow feet, so maybe it wouldn't be as much of an issue for others. A shame as it is a very cute looking boot.
