Love the look. Also comfortable. I got grey and they look brown. Not grey at all but still cute. I have a wider foot and the width is fine. Only problem is the left one squeaks in the heel (somewhere inside… not sole against the floor). It’s annoying but they’re cute enough I hope no one hears it but me! Day 4 and still squeaky. Haha!

Looks cute. The zipper stops @ the ankle, so it fits loose around ankle and that is comfortable. But... the comfort insert is SO awkward and feels so off. I added an arch support of my own and its going to take a lot of tweaking to make it feel right.

I typically take an 8.5 in Born boots. This seemed so much shorter than other boots of that size. It is narrow enough across the front, but so wide in the heel that my heel slips. A 9 would work in length, but the heel problem would be worse. Too bad. Love the style.

These are cute as can be, but as others say, the heel is very wide, very uncomfortable for my feet. I love the style but not the fit.

These booties are fun and comfortable. I’m giving them a lower overall rating because I ordered gray (twice) and the booties are definitely not gray. They’re taupe. Cool-looking, and I decided to keep them. But Zappos, I’m your biggest fan, and this color thing is an ongoing issue. The color of the shoe is often not at all as advertised. I send them back for another pair, and it’s the same wrong color. Someone in the color-naming department is potentially color blind. Even so, I love your customer service and your quick turn-around, so I’ll keep wearing shoes a different color than I had originally intended.

Well you know how it is wearing too-small shoes. I'm trying to decide if going up a size will be enough to make them comfortable. They are a bit stiff. Cute though!

These shoes are the cutest thing ever but they run a size small! I ordered 10, the size I normally wear, and I could hardly get my foot in. I never wear 11 and I don't plan to start...

true to size but low ankle boot

I love the look of these boots, but they pull your socks down when you walk. Not sure how to fix that problem.

I so wanted to love these cute boots. The leather was nice and the footbed seemed like it would be comfortable, but they were a bit tight across the top of my foot. They might have stretched out, but I needed a better fit so I returned them.

Unfortunately for me, these run very small (feels like a full size). And the Grey is actually brown.

Loved the color of this bootie and usually love any Born shoe or boot. These however were too small in the toe and loose at the heel. Sadly returning

Unfortunately I had to return these as they were too short. A half size larger would have been great, but wasn't available. A little too big in the heel for me as well. I thought these were really cute shoes, just wish they would have fit.

The boots are too short in the toe box. Have to order the next size up.

Too tight across the top of my foot

Love the booties, but the stitching along the side of these started to unravel after about 2 months. I have another pair, different color. I hope those will last longer.

I wanted to love these boots. The left show was perfect and comfortable. The right show was defects be. The insole was glued wrong. The heel was bent and the width of the boot was much narrower than the left. That said I just didn’t like the look when I put them on so will not exchange for new

Had to return for size exchange because they were too small. Otherwise, so cute and love them.

I ordered the same size as my other style, Temple. My foot was sliding out of these causing my socks to ride down under my foot. I tried Dr. Scholl's heel inserts to prevent them from slipping and it just made the boot more uncomfortable. It's too bad, because I loved the style and color and was looking forward to wearing them.

I have several pairs of ladies Born boots size 11 that fit perfect. Usually I can buy them and just know they will fit. Unfortunately the Tarklin is too short, my toes hit the end and there’s no room for any give at all. Too bad; are super cute, but since Born doesn’t offer an 11.5 I’m out of luck.

I ordered in gray. The boots are brown. Very brown NOT gray. Otherwise perfect. I returned for distressed black.
