These booties are adorable and so comfortable. They are a bit wider in the front than usual, but with socks they are perfect. Great addition to my comfy COVID wardrobe.

Lengthwise these are spot-on, width was a different story. The toe box was great but heels are sloppy. I can make it work for now with thick socks. I may need gel pads when the leather relaxes. I got them in blue which is the best color ever. They are fabulous with jeans and my feet were happy even after a 10k-step day at work.

I ordered a 9.5 and it was too big, especially in the heel. It’s a cute shoe, yet don’t know if I’ll try a different size.

It’s very cute but not very comfortable. I rarely have issues with sizing but this shoe is short. I recommend getting a half size larger if possible. I kept them despite being too short because I really like the blue color with jeans and think they look cute. So I deal with the discomfort.

I LOVED the look of this bootie and was so excited for them to arrive. I ordered both a size 8 and 8.5 because I wasn't sure. My toe rubbed at the end of the 8's so I thought the 8.5 would be perfect...nope! The length/size was great but my heel slipped and lifted so much that there was no way that I could have worn them comfortably. I could easily slip them off without unzipping them. I went out and purchased 3 different insoles, heel lifts and heel cups to try hoping one would do the trick to hold my heel/foot in place. Sadly nothing worked and I had to give in and send them back. I had this issue with both the Tarklin style and the Toya style bootie. I'm still searching for the perfect casual, flat winter bootie for northern WI winters. Sorry, Born. I've worn your shoes and sandals for years! PS....the Toya style did not slip quite as much but still enough that I was concerned about heel blisters from the constant friction. I can't tell you how much I had wanted these booties and would have ordered them in both grey and black. :(

I love the style of these boots and wish so badly that they fit. My right foot is slightly bigger than my left and the 8 was too tight and the 8 1/2 was much too loose on the left. If anyone else has the reverse problem, let's go in on these boots together! Otherwise, would highly recommend. Super cute.

Cute, casual shoes. Would not recommend for long walks.

Fit the first time i wore them. I never had a problem with Born shoes.

These shoes are really cute but the throat of the shoe was huge - yes as the prior one have said the heal does slip but i just could not get past the gaping throat of the shoe.

I have a somewhat wide foot and this boot fit pretty well. I would say I find Born boots to be wide in the heel and this boot has the same issue.

Absolutely love the look at these boots, since some of the reviews talked about smaller in the toebox and bigger in the heel, I ordered one half size up, normally I’m a perfect 7 but ordered the 7 1/2. Glad I did, toebox fits perfectly but yes the heel is rather roomy. It’s OK, they’re so cute no way I’m sending them back. I’m probably going to also add an arch support which will probably make the heel fit slightly better anyway ???

The fit is a bit snug. I'm sure that they will stretch out.

I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 depending on the shoe style, so I decided to go with the 6.5 based on other reviews. I love the style and comfort of this boot, however, I had the same problem others had said. The heel was a little too big/wide for me. I do have a narrower heel, but a fairly normal "B" width. I decided to try walking around a bit with socks on as I will be wearing them when I wear these, and I had the same problem with the heel rubbing the sock down and scrunching around my foot....Not a good feeling!! I will be returning these, and possibly trying the 6 because I love the look and the soft comfy footbed so much. I really want them to fit! To be continued...

This is my third pair of this style (I got the Temple ones before) and I love them! Great style and comfort. They do wear out fairly quickly...maybe because I wear them everyday, but I still completely recommend them. The little inner soul on them goes first, so adding an insert helps.

Love the style! Slightly on the small size, fit better with a thinner sock, my toes still felt slightly squished, the heel is slightly loose but I think would be easily remedied with a heel pad - maybe. Had to return but will contemplate reordering in a half size larger.

I'm a 9 but had to go up a 1/2 size. That's said: Comfortable and my kind of style, I love these boots. Unfortunately, they suck my socks down to my toes (worst feeling evah!). I'm going to try fixing the issue myself because I really don't want to return them.

True to size, soft comfortable leather. Very happy with purchase.

Too snug. Not normal Born fit.

This shoe fits my size 11 feet very well with just a tad of extra room for comfort. Very comfortable shoes - they are however, a Nubuck finish. They are not a shiny leather and would be hard to clean. They are NOT grey but appear dark brown and almost a milk chocolate color - certainly not grey. I even checked the box! I am disappointed in the finish and the color.

While I absolutely love Born Boots ( I own at least 12 pairs) and always wear the same size, this boot ran a little small. Other than the size, the Born quality that we Born lovers have come to expect was true. These boots are adorable.

I normally wear a 9 or 9.5 & typically a 9.5 in a boot. I did order this in a 9.5 & they are slightly big. My heel lifts when I walk. Size 9 no longer available, so I purchased heel pads as recommended by another reviewer. They work great!! Love the style of these boots & they are comfortable!!

I love these boots!! So cute. The left boot fits me like a glove and the right boot is a bit roomy. Strange. Do read the other reviews that say these are roomy in the heels, it’s true. I’ll wear mine anyways as they’re an instant favorite. Very comfy and cute.

The boots look just as I was expecting them to. As others mentioned, the heel area is roomy and does not hold your foot snug in the boot. This is not a major issue for me. Socks help and I will look for other inserts that may help to hold my heel down better. Overall they are what I was hoping for. Great quality and not overly expensive. My heels lift when I walk, but not so bad that I have to grip my toes to keep my foot in.

Tried these on in a store and realized they run short on me but they didn't have the size I need so I ordered here. As some others have said, to get the right length, it's loose in the heel. I experimented with a folded up paper towel to see if padding the heel would help. This just pushed my foot forward to where my toes hit the front. The solution was to place a stick-on heel pad in the top of the shoe right before it widens at the ankle. No more heel slip. They do fit wide around the ankle but I like that it gives the mobility of a shoe and the look of a short boot.
