I ordered and received the shoes. Only kind of shoes my husband will wear. Cant remember how long he has chose this particular shoe but its been quite sometime. They wear well. Sincerely Dolores

Shoes are not accurate in size, more like a 14. I will be returning these.

New Balance is one of the few companies that carry shoes in wide.

I wear them to my exercise classes and around the house and everyday activities. These 608's are evern more comfortable than my old ones which I still wear. I like the redesign of the lacing!

I use these shoes for walking and riding my bike. Also everyday use running around. Love them!

I don't think that new balance will make the model as it used to. the old model had more cushion around the ankle and more cushion in the sole. But, it is still worth wearing

I wear these for volleyball and have ordered the same model shoe for years. This model is constantly improved and the shoes I received recently were the best yet: comfortable, shock-absorbing, and allow for both maximum jumping and lateral movement. I like that the insoles can be removed to dry them out ager use and wash them from time to time. I have wide feet so finding a women's shoe that fits and not having to order a men's shoe just to accommodate my wide feet is great.

A couple of years ago I developed plantar fasciitis and, after some research, ordered New Balance 608v4. It was a good decision. My foot felt much better in the shoe and healed rapidly. Then one year ago, I ordered the 608v5 (suede version). Disappointed at first, because it felt different from the 608v4, but happy after a month. The 608v5 has more room in the toe box and the position of my foot in the shoe felt better. A few weeks ago, I ordered another pair of the 608v5 (black leather version). They feel just as good as my other pair of 608v5's, but have the added benefit of a "slip resistant" sole and are safer on icy city sidewalks. Excellent shoe. I ordered 1/2 size larger than my regular size.

This is my 3rd pair of 608s. I get about 2 years out of them which is pretty good since I weigh almost 300lbs. Glad I can order direct from New Balance as finding a size 15D is difficult to say the least.

I use this product almost daily to walk and exercise. I like the fact you have shorten the laces to the proper length but still don't like the pull tabs that have a habit of folding in behind your heel. I also feel you have changed the leather from soft leather to a stiffer leather.

Fits true to size comfortable and nice design. Nothing else to say but I can't post the review because I'm 4 characters short. It's not enough to say they fit good comfortable and all in the amount of characters I used so I wrote this to get my review in.

The 608v5 shoe has a very different outsole compared to the 608v4. The description states that it has a "slip resistant outsole to provide superior traction." I have a Morton's neuroma which requires a roomy toe box and good cushioning. Wearing the 608v5 around the house caused my neuroma to flare up again. Even my custom orthotics didn't provide enough cushioning. The outsole is very stiff and it felt like walking barefoot on a hardwood floor. I had to return these shoes.

Like most New Balance shoes I have purchased over the years, I ordered a half size up and the shoes fit me perfectly. I was concerned that the shoes might have been "built to a price" and not up to the quality standards I would hope for, but I have been very pleased with the product's appearance and comfort. I use these shoes for treadmill walking and other light exercise.

Had to return. Ordered wide but toe area was tight

Last time I ordered a pair of 608 black W (for wide), the came as 4E. This last pair came as only 2E. I can wear 2E but the 4E are more comfortable. I didn't see any where in the order form to designate 4E just W for wide.

The v4 was ok when compared to the v2. Not great but ok. The v5 is nearly unwareable. Please stop changing what works.
