I just received my new running/hiking shoes. they are everything NB said they were. It took me a couple of hours to decide as I was searching their website and comparing them with other shoemakers. As usual I chose NB as they are true to size. I wanted a little more toe room so I got the 9.5 wide opposed to 9 wide. Happy I did.

I hope these wear as wear as well as the previous three pairs of black 608? (whatever ## they were. I'll start paying attention to those details.). These very first shoes I've bought online. the others were bought off the rack. They were the best shoes I've worn in decades. They've lasted so long I forgot what size they were. The new pair matched the old pair visually but might be a bit shorter, I hope this model is continuously made for as long as I need shoes!

Good for all around wear. Bought the 2E width. I have diabetes and a neuroma. They are comfortable and have eased my foot pain significantly.

I am a mail carrier. I walk 12 miles a day. These are the best quality shoes to get the job done. I have nerve damage feet and plantar fasciitis due to the postal issued shoes. If it wasnt for NB, I would not be able to work and would have gone out on disability.

I have always purchased 608V5 and I wouldn't wear anything else. They are comfortable and they support my feet well. They wear extremely well, too. I placed my order and expected to wait several days before I would receive an email stating they were shipped but instead I received them the next day. Now that is fantastic service.

I'm a letter carrier and use this sneaker on a daily basis. It's the only sneaker that I've been using for the last couple years. The only reason why I didn't give it a five star is because they need a better insert. A great walking sneaker for the money.

This was not my first pair of New Balance 608v5 sneakers. I like the style and the fit is excellant. I have no brake in time for the shoes. Very comfortable.

This pair is an exchange. The initial pair were the same size I have worn in New Balance 608s for years - 13D. That initial pair felt too narrow and too short. I thought a wider shoe might fix the fit. There was no E width available so I got EE. The exchanged pair felt fine width-wise but was still too short. Since, as I said, this model is the kind I have gotten for years I can only assume New Balance has changed their manufacturing process to save materials resulting in shorter and narrower shoes. I am really disappointed. It was such a pleasure to order shoes without having to worry about fit. That is no longer the case.

I've been wearing these shoes for a number of years. I have one pair for exercising and another pair for everyday use. The 608v5 gives my feet the support they need and they're very comfortable. I would definitely recommend them. I'm sure I'll be buying them again in the future.

I needed a shoe with just a little extra width due to a bunion, and this shoe not only fits great but the extra width has decreased the pain I was feeling from wearing shoes that were a tad too tight.

The left shoe fits perfectly... size 7.5... nice roomy and comfortable. The right shoe fits a bit narrow and my big toe touches the top of the shoe????? same size/same width... ????

This is the exact size of a previous order of New Balance 608s. For some reason they are too small. I'm not sure which dimension is the culprit - the width or the length. I am assuming it is the width since that is the nature of the pain I felt after trying them on. I would like to exchange this pair for a pair of 13s with an E width.

Please continue to get this style as my husband has worn this style for many years while walking on concrete all day at his sawmill operation!
The 624's were too narrow for his 13D sized foot so I easily exchanged them for the 608v5's. Customer service was excellent, too!
