I bought these shoes after reading the reviews thinking they would be comfortable wearing for eight hours or more. They are not good for all day standing. The left inside tongue of the shoe is not centered so I'm constantly moving it where it should be. I have been wearing NB shoes for many years and never have I had any problems until now. Very disappointing. I'm looking around for something more comfortable that won't make my feet hurt at the end of the day. These particular shoes were rated top 10 for eight hours of standing comfortably. Not so.

For extra wide shoe it feels a little tight at the balls of the toes.

I have been buying the 990s since they came out, always size 11 wide, these shoes are too short my toe rubs the end .. not good!

When I say a wide foot I mean it. 4 EEE. They are comfortable and they didn't take any break in. Very nice!

I have found through the years that the size, fit and function of the New Balance shoes have always been dependable.

These are great for wide feet, Just wish they had more color. Order a half size bigger if you have insoles. They are also great with rain, I prefer these than mesh.

New Balance is the only shoe company that makes a shoe that fit my brace! I'm so glad they offer 4E in there shoes size variety. It's wide enough to fit.

This is my dress pair of New balance. I have 5 black pairs and 4 pairs of white. Only one pair has not lasted for atleast 10 years.

I am a Previous 608 customer but these were uncomfortable and hurt my feet so I returned them. I bought the 940 and 860 and I am happy with them, But I would like a model in all Black so I can wear them to work, like my 990's are all black.
