I purchased the black new balance and returned it the next day. Didnt feel like leather and it runs small.

I'll let you know after Christmas. My 608v5's are going to be my gift. If they are anything like my 608v4's I'm sure I'll love them.! I "must" say this though; whoever help me when I purchased my new sneakers, "Was Great".! One of the best Customer Service experiences I have ever had.! Thank you, and please thank the person that helped me if you can track them down.!!

Everyday wear, good if it rains, should last a long time

This is for my husband for Christmas. He has been wearing 608 forever.

Fits true to size, quick delivery, and provides stability with the ankle support during activities.

I tried different brands like Nike, Puma etc before I switched to New Balance. It is so comfortable, light and sturdy. I am wearing this shoe from more than a year and still feel it is like in terms of cushion and grip. So this year I bought again a New Balance shoe and I found my choice.

These shoes are very comfortable and a good price for every day activity.

I have worn the NB cross-trainer shoes for years. They never disappoint, even though the model number changes from time to time. I walk a couple of miles almost every day and usually wear these shoes. I bought another pair in black, and they are just as good. Order up 1/2 size, as LL Bean suggests, and you should have a perfect fit.

use this as gym shoe and walking, great support, fit and comfort in both activities

Am wearing the shoe for a time, hoping that it will prove better with wear.

I REALLY LIKE THESE SHOES BUT I WISH THEY WOULD MAKE THE SHOES THE SAME SIZE EVERY TIME. BECAUSE I AM 69 YEARS OLD AND AND I KNOW MY FEET DON'T GROW ANY MORE. I WARE SIZE 11 4E SO I ORDERED 11 1/2 4E AND WHEN I RECEIVED THEM THEY WERE STILL TO SMALL. SO I GUESS IF I BUY AGAIN I WILL HAVE TO ORDER A SIZE 12 4E AND SEE IF THAT WORKS.

Great for everyday use perfect for my feet I like them

I have worn New Balance shoes for years. Buying them off the internet is risky. The new shoes I received fit well, but feel hard. Had to insert a new insert. They just feel heavy and hard and make a loud noise when walking on hard wood floors.

I have worn New Balance 608 or similar for the biggest part of my 51 years and I had to order this last pair online because I couldn't find them in any stores around here. This pair is not near as comfortable as all of my others. I will never buy shoes online again. I should have known that buying things online are not what they seem.

Purchased for my husband who says they are comfortable and he really likes them.

This was not good. The fit around the ball of my feet was so tight, the leather upper would never have stretched for a decent comfortable fit. Normally I buy a size 10 in this type of shoe, so I ordered a 10.5.. Still too tight. Walking feel was not what I expected.

Its a everyday going out shoe. Walking , jogging and running. Durable sole.

This is a great comforatable walking, casual dress, and workout shoe!!!

Gave it a lower rating only because of the way they fit. The sides have been raised about 1/2 inch and by the end of the 1st day wearing this style, could hardly walk because the sides hit ankle bones at all 4 points. Had to put 1/2 inch sole inserts inside shoes to continue wearing them. The other NB changes, such as the normal toe shape instead of looking like Mickey Mouse shoes, were an improvement. Have to order on-line because a 12-1/2 size is not carried in local stores and a size 13 is to large. This style may fit you right out of the box but I will continue to try to order something else the fits like my older NB walking shoes that were made in the USA too.

I have difficult to fit feet. I had an old pair of New Balance sneakers (size 11 1/2, EEE) that were a perfect fit, so I wanted the same again. But none of the shoes I look at came in EEE. I wound up buying 11 1/2 EEEE, which turn out to be too wide. I'm a little disappointed the new pair don't fit as well.

New Balance is a wonderful product! My husband wears a size 18, and is a big guy. NB is the only athletic shoe that gives him the support that his feet need. They wear well, great fit and you can't beat the price.I love New Balance.
