This shoe is more than adequate for most athletic applications. Mine get used hard and hold up well. It would be great if New Balance would make more shoes in B width for those of us with narrow feet! Don't abandon the narrow foot market NB- we need you out here!

It's very hard for me to find comfortable sneakers because of the my feet. I have flat feet with a larger bunion on my right foot than my left foot which makes my feet just a little wider than the average D width. These are great for sports with tennis like motion. It's a little heavy but you get used to it. My feet do get a little sweaty in there though, wish it had a little more breathability.

I REALLY LIKE THESE SHOES BUT I WISH THEY WOULD MAKE THE SHOES THE SAME SIZE EVERY TIME. BECAUSE I AM 69 YEARS OLD AND AND I KNOW MY FEET DON'T GROW ANY MORE. I WARE SIZE 11 4E SO I ORDERED 11 1/2 4E AND WHEN I RECEIVED THEM THEY WERE STILL TO SMALL. SO I GUESS IF I BUY AGAIN I WILL HAVE TO ORDER A SIZE 12 4E AND SEE IF THAT WORKS.

My new 806s are not fully broken in as yet but seem to be another good NB purchase. I have been wearing 608s for years and while they have changed they still fit me better than other brands and NB styles.

I have been wearing new balance shoes for 20+ years. I love the way they fit. They wear well and never let you down. I bought these as a replacement for my last pair and look forward to many months of walking and working out.

I work for the US Post Office, these babies are the bomb. I have not experience any slipping or sliding on multiple surfaces, actually I did on a little ice. They're very comfortable once broken in which took a day wearing at work. I gave it 4 stars because I recently ordered 2 pairs and one of the two pairs is a size small, so sizing may be an issue.

I have worn New Balance for more then 20 years and most of those years wearing the 608. They feel good. I am a daily walker and these shoes work very well for me. I like the wider sole and feel more stability with these on.

I recently bought two pair of these shoes and the fit is fine. I read a few reviews from people that had been wearing them for some time and there was mention of leather uppers being replaced by man made material. I can not say for sure but I believe that is the case so I am giving the overall of four stars. I also read the cushion support is not what it used to be and, again, that seems to be the case. I wear a 4E width so my choices are limited.

The "collar" of these shoes was too high around my ankles. After several steps around the house, it was clear that I'd have blisters. Otherwise, the toe box was comfortable and the heel fit well. I'm disappointed as I had hoped these would replace my very well worn LLBean walking shoes. They have to go back.

For this round of shoes I decided to try other brands. While I liked the look of other brands much better, the fit was never right. Finally went back to NB, and they fit like a glove. I just wish they were more sporty looking. For those who have had good luck with NB fit in the past, stop looking and go with these. Hope for style options next round

This is the third pair of New Balance walking shoes which I have bought. They provide excellent support and are very comfortable. I would have preferred to buy the shoes in an E width, but this was not available. I tried the EE width and found them too wide. The D width is a bit snug, but I wear them anyway. Otherwise, I have no complaints about these shoes. I recommend New Balance to anyone looking for walking/running/cross-training shoes.

As a volleyball official, I need a pair of all black shoes for high school and all white shoes for college. I bought two pairs of these and they work great! A little on the stiff side, but after working multiple tournaments, I am happy with this purchase.
