I purchased these to wear at work. I have a job where I sit for long periods, then have to walk quickly to help my users. The deep cushion on these shoes keep me comfortable while allowing me to get to place to place quickly.k I purchase new shoes of this type every 6 months and always feel great in them

I have purchased this Cross Trainer from New Balance from many years and I have never been disappointed. I require a 4-wide fit and this shoe supplies it amply. There is good support and I find the shoes to be comfortable for long periods of time. They last and stand up to use (and abuse) quite well.

i am 72 years old and work as a detention officer in a county jail. i am on my feet a lot and this shoe is wonderful for that. the non skid has saved me numerous times and the overall comfort is amazing.

The NB 608V5 tends to make your feet sweat, unlike previous versions. Older 608's had a bit of leather or leather-like strip up the complete center of the tongue. The new ones don't, and that seems to let the tongue crab towards your toes. All and all, not a bad shoe. Liked the older versions better.

The WIDE was not available, so I had to order the regular width; however, they were so narrow that they hurt my feet without even walking around in them. I returned them, but have not received my refund yet, as they're waiting for their "quarantine" to be over. Not a great experience...

Was apprehensive about buying shoes "through the mail". Have had no luck doing this in the past. Luckily, I guessed correctly. Ordered a half-size larger and a size wider. They fit like a glove!

I had bunion surgery on my left foot and I have some hardware inside that foot now. I have a bunion on the right foot, too, but it isn't as bad as the one on the left foot. I needed an extra wide shoe to accommodate that surgical foot. My foot is small, too, and it was difficult to find a small size with an extra wide width but Zappos had the New Balance in a 6.5 xxxx wide. It works. Thank you Zappos.
