I've been looking for a pair of leather cross trainers for the colder months. I really like these but I do wish the insoles had a bit more padding. I will be replacing them with different ones.

I'm have plantar fasciitis on my left heel. I've tried several inserts (foam and cork) which eased some of the pain. These shoes really helped me. I hardly feel anything in my heel whe I wear them. Let de saver for everyday 5 mike walker. Ugly though!

I've been buying black leather NewBalance cross trainers for thirty years. The style has changed slightly over the years, but they are basically still the same good quality training shoe they have always been. I appreciate that NewBalance still makes a plain black shoe for us normals.

I liked the Navy and White 608 but needed a black version for work. Really supports my foot and is comfortable. Thanks NB!

I use the shoes for everyday wear. The fit is perfect and the stability is good and the cushioning is great

They look good and are very comfortable. However, they are wider than I expected.

Comfortable shoe. Large toe area. hoping for slip on fit, but laces have to be tied.

Big fan of the shoes, have gotten multiple pairs over the years. However the laces always seem to come untied sometimes, even when double knotting them. Maybe a change in material used for laces could help

I wear these as comfortable casual shoes. I like the black color because it makes less obvious I am wearing sneakers. It was hard to find my size. I wish the tongue had a better loop for the laces to keep it from getting pushed down while donning the shoe.

I normally in the past have purchased the 624 NB shoe for use in my aerobic dance class. However the 624 style was not available for some reason. I hope it is brought back soon. I purchased instead the NB 608 and it is very good walking shoe as well as in my Jazzercise dance aerobic classes. Very good for side to side movements.

I have had a problem with New Balance Cross Trainers with the sole of the shoe separating from the rest of the bottom. I have to use Super Glue every time to correct this issue. Hopefully, you are aware of this issue from other customers.

It's so wonderful to be able to put my extra wide foot into this shoe with the wide opening. I just wish they had more padding. Overall a very nice shoe.

First, I want to comment on how fast the delivery on my new shoes. It was fast, two days! I ordered 4E wides they seemed a little tight. I have to go with a wider size with this type of shoe next time. All in all good quality for the price.

Last 2 pairs of Training shoes have been tighter. wish they still made the 840's I have purchased in past.

I'm in my mid sixties with Morton's neuroma. Wanted to get a wider score to accommodate a metatarsal pat and allow the foot need to spread out. So I ordered a half size larger than usual in 2E, rather than regular with. So far, so good. Have a few four to five mile days with less discomfort in the foot. Pretty happy with the results.

Bought this pair to replace worn out NB athletic shoes and worn out Nike athletic shoes. Wear these for walking dog, exercising on an elliptical trainer and casual occasions. Previous NB athletic shoes had served me well. Would never buy anything again from Nike, given their making a hero of Colin Kaepernick (sp??), following his refusal to stand for our National Anthem. So far, these new NB sport shoes have proven comfortable. Can't promise to buy NB shoes again, because of being 80 years old and maybe never buying another pair of shoes in my life.

I've been wearing some variation of New Balance 608s for over 20 years because they're comfortable and because they come in WIDE sizes. It's hard to find athletic shoes in wide sizes. Though I take a little ribbing from my boys with my "geezer shoes" (along with my crew socks), they are true classics. This version is pretty stiff out of the box, and they need a good "break-in" period to loosen up and conform to your feet. Good all-purpose shoes.

I'm on my second pair of apparently discontinued 624s, where my first pair lasted only 4 months where the sole in the toe area separated from the uppers. MX608V5 a lot rides on your build once my second pair of 624 dies, hopeful to get a year and not 4 months. I buy ahead of time as to not get caught in the supply chain issue and NB have been great to me before, that's why I stick with them :)

I got the same trainers I always get (MX608V5) in the same color. They are $50 cheaper than ones I got a while ago. I thought about changing style or color, but I decided to stay the course. Very comfortable and a good fit (4E width).

I'm a nurse on my feet for 12+ hour shifts. Generally a very good sneaker. I have one spot below my great toe that rubs and irritates it. Hopefully once they get worn in a bit it won't bother me anymore.
