I was pleased with the shoes,as they are very comfortable but I don't understand why you don't have them in navy & white.

I have a wide foot. This brand fits my foot best. The loop eyelets hold up better than eyelets in the leather which tend to wear through. Perhaps one day New Balance will design a shoe with velcro straps

These type shoes last me longer than any other I've worn. I'm extremely difficult to fit and was glad to find them online AND on sale!

I always use New Balance they are the only one that has 4e width.

The shoe is well built and comfortable - except when I step on a shoe string. The strings are way too long. I see no reason why that is.

I needed sneakers for jumping rope and these are great. Foam footbed provides a cushy landing for the ball of my foot and shoe is stiff enough to keep my feet stable. Ordered a half size larger than normal per reviews; leather is stretching a bit to allow for my thicker socks. Only downside: too white and old fashioned looking. I've updated a bit with new laces, but would love a less traditional leather color.

I take a double wide 14. I could only buy the shoes I wanted by going to the USA. US New Balance would not ship to Canada. New Balance Canada would not carry my size. They did carry my size in another style. Nice being able get them without having to cross the border. They were even good as shoes go:)

I like the looks of the shoe and that it is made of leather, which is warmer in winter, but the shoe is a bit heavy. It is comfortable though.

i wear a 10.5 but these xtra wide are so comfy and wide you'd want to consider going down 1/2 size or a whole size down i'd prefer these xtra wide 10 or even 9.5

The shoes are great my 3 rd pair back now I'm old and having trouble converting them to slip on with elastic laces

I like the shoe as I have 2 pair just like them. The first pair I bought were nice until the soles turned yellow. Second pair and this pair are comfortable. The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn were the 411 Cush. Bought 3 pairs (I work on my feet and have foot and ankle issues) and I never felt the pain in my foot like I do with all the others. Why were they discontinued?

I've worn New Balance sneakers for a lot of years. The last two models I bought fit well but were discontinued when I went to buy a new pair. This is the new model I settled on. It's a little smaller than the last model so my right toes rub a little. Other than that they seem fine. The only other complaint is that the shoelaces are way too long. I had to cut them and buy new heat shrink ends to seal up the cuts. Otherwise they drag on the ground and get caught all the time.

I have trouble finding good sneakers in a wide width. New Balance has a good variety, which I appreciate a lot. Saw these and gave them a try. Very nice coverage... kind of a warm sneaker... good for walking in the colder weather. Been wearing them for a week now and now that they are broken in a bit, I'm liking them even more. I think they would be a little hot for summer, as they don't seem to breathe much. I noticed my feet were a bit hot in them indoors. Perfect find for Fall, Winter and Spring though. Very nice and stable sole/footbed for walking, which I do a lot of. Would buy again and would recommend for anyone who walks a lot. Good looking too!

This is a good shoe. The one I actually wanted was not available in my size, but this one was in the size I wear.
