These shoes were so comfortable right out of the box! So much so that I literally just placed the order for the olive color. I have a 5 month old, relatively small ankles, but slightly wide feet “the dreaded bunion” I’m always hesitant about boots because the toes can get narrow and cause my friend “Paul” the bunion to become angry and irritated. Paul loves these shoes and so did I. I have included a photo of Paul so that girls who also have friends named Paul can bask in the future comfort this shoe will provide.

Sofft is a great brand, but sizing is hit or miss. I wear 8M and my Sofft shoes are from 6.5. To 8 and widths N, M, W. I bought 8 and they’re long; even look long when I look down at them. The heel slips a little, probably due to the length of the shoe, and it makes my soft chafe my heel a little. The shoe rubs the front of my ankle just a little, but it doesnt bother me with socks on and every little thing usually bothers my skin. Beautiful, rich brown color, well-made, waterproof. A great boot, but not a feminine as I want. I need something I can wear to work every day and these a just a tad too utilitarian. Great boots, though, and you can’t beat Zappos!

I LOVE these boots, and the fact that they are waterproof is icing on the cake. Purchased even tho they don’t come in a wide width, because I have other Sofft shoes and they fit my wide forefoot nicely. I did stretch these boots with a shoe stretcher (and I recommend shoe stretchers for anyone with a wide foot), the leather is nice and soft but still rugged enough for sloppy winter weather. I bought the whiskey color for a trip to Vancouver BC in March, but they are so stylish with so many things (looks great with cropped jeans!) that I immediately ordered them in black also. Love love love them.

I love the Söfft brand. After buying a pair of super comfortable heels made by them, I was excited to see what else they had to offer. I wear a size 11 and have thick ankles/calves and these totally fit and are comfortable. I am currently wearing them with socks until they break in a bit more, but the leather is soft enough that I don't think it would rub on my shin or ankle too much. The arch support is a little narrow for my foot, but I think they will break in just fine. The grey color is beautiful and the stitching detail is nice. I don't anticipate being able to "dress them up" at all, but they are perfect with jeans. I am excited to see how they hold up in the PNW rain, which will surely test their waterproof claim. Overall, I am super happy with them.

these were so stiff out of the box that I thought they were too small, but I wore them all evening around the house and they loosened up a bit. jury is still out on the width - probably will wear them one more evening before deciding. one thing to note is i ordered two sizes and they were VERY different in color (see picture). also on the smaller size, the tops of the leather where it's in little sections over the elastic weren't cut all the way through. I pulled the first one apart and it frayed a little, so i used a kitchen knife on the other sections and it worked fine. definitely nothing special in the support department, but the leather is pretty thick and the soles feel durable, so i'm hopeful they'll last.

I have thin ankles and calves, so most boots look really bad on me with my leg swimming around in them. These boots shockingly work well. There is a little wiggle room at the top of the boot, but it't not bad at all. The insides are super comfy, and could even be worn without socks if you're one of those people. The best part is that they can be worn in the rain, making these the ideal shoes to pack when you don't know what the weather will bring. Can be worn with skinny jeans, work pants, or a skirt making these a one stop solution.

I LOVE these boots. I bought the Whiskey color and they are a rich, beautiful brown. The shies are very comfortable. I was worried about them not having a zipper, but they slip on and off easily and are still comfortably snug around my ankles. So glad I ordered these and can't wait to wear them!

I almost sent these back, but they were so cute, I decided to make them work for me. I have a flat, narrow foot, very "low volume" -- so I'm used to shoes not working if they don't have laces, buckles or velcro. I have a large variety of insoles and pads to put into shoes to take up room. A half insole from some sneakers and a pad (mini-pad to be exact) on the area on top of my ankle (to keep my heel from sliding so much), seems to be working well. I really like the rubber soles, they feel great -- good shock absorbers. They are probably a true medium width -- but there is a lot of room at the ankle. It would have been great if they ran narrow, but with all my modifications, they're working. The waterproof feature is great too. I am tempted to get the green color. I am on my feet all day, so these will be great.

These boots are so cute! I got the army green which looks even better in person and is a surprisingly versatile color. The arch support is good, and the boots slip on and off with ease.

These boots were comfortable right out of the box and true to size; I wear a 9M in most shoes and boots! They are snug around the ankle, and the bottom of my leggings stayed nicely over the top of them too. The rust color and that they were waterproof was what I was looking for. I usually wear BLONDE brand waterproof boots in all their colors daily, they run small and need to wear a 91/2 wide but they do not make them in a rust color; they are more casual than BLONDE too.

I cannot express enough how much I love these Sofft boots. I am a very picky shoe person and find it very difficult to find shoes that I like, that are comfortable, stylish and affordable. These boots are all of those things! I felt like they might be a touch tight/narrow at first, but after wearing 2-3 times that is a non-issue. I am generally a 10 in most shoes and was a 10 in this boot as well. I am so in love I'm ordering another color. So glad my sister recommend these boots to me!

Beautiful waterproof leather and suede - I have both and have worn in snow and rain with no leaking. Comfortable right out of the box. I usually wear 9s and ordered a 9 which was perfect. I have the black and the grey suede. Highly recommended

I love these booties...period. They are contemporary looking and do not look like what some"comfort" shoes suffer from in terms of style. The fact that they are waterproof is an added bonus.

Good-looking comfortable boot that was just a little too narrow. They probably would have broken in but I don’t do that anymore. I had to return.

I bought these in my regular size 8, and at first glance, I was worried that they were going to be too narrow for my sort-of wide feet. After wearing them for about 5 minutes around the house, they felt great. The style is very cool and current, and the grey suede is gorgeous. They are so cute with jeans, and the best part is that they are waterproof. I haven't tested them in the rain yet, but I'm really hoping that's an accurate claim because these are the cutest bad-weather shoes I've ever owned!

These are so sharp and comfortable. They go with everything! They do run narrow, so I had to exchange for a half size up. I can see myself wearing them all fall and winter. Great value!

This seems like well made shoe, very soft, comfortable and super cute. Sadly I had to return both the size 6 and the 6.5 - I wear either depending on the shoe. But this one is just a tad too tight in the toe box and too loose in the heel which kept slipping. Bummed.

Very cute and comfortable, but the suede is overly distressed at the toe for my taste. The color difference is a lot more noticeable than shown in the pictures.

I bought these to wear around Paris in January - needed something comfortable, water proof, and stylish. These are great - I originally got the black but had to send back to go up a half size, and there was no more black. Which is great, because the brown is super cute. They are comfortable right out of the box.

This booties are very comfortable, they fit perfectly and they look just as the pictures , it was totally what I was expecting, I love the shoes!

These are gorgeous, stylish boots made out of fine leather...I usually wear 8M, sometimes 8W....these were waaaaayyyy too small.

Great boot! I was pleased to discover the insole has a metatarsal pad. I did have to go 1/2 size up to wear with socks — thanks for the speedy second pair, Zappos! True size worked only with tights/nylons/trouser socks. I’m going to be able to wear the green with many colors.

Slightly loose around the ankle, but super light and comfortable. I usually order wide widths, but definitely didn't need to for this - plenty of room for my foot and could wear it with thicker socks and it would be fine.

Since it's near to impossible to find size 5.5 shoes in a wide width, this was the closest option that I can comfortably wear, which is a size 6 medium. Once the leather stretches out a little the width should be fine. Also, I added an Orthaheel 3/4 orthotic for more arch support. Given the shape of the shoe and low heel height, I am able to wear size 6 without my foot constantly slipping forward. I Sofft and other brands would simply offer a D with option in size 5.5!
