There is a sizing issue with the 22 Knit version. I have been running in the Mizuno Wave Rider 21s (which I love) and these are at least a half size smaller, despite both being size 6 US/36 UK. In case I was imaging it, I compared them sole to sole and there is a huge difference in length. I'm going to size up to a 6.5 to see if they fit. If not, I will give up on the 22s. Love the pink color though!

I normally wear a 7.5, which is what I got in these and they fit comfortably with nothing rubbing on my ankles and adequate room for my toes. It feels like running on clouds. I have extremely high arches, so others may find these shoes to have good arch support.

I just ordered a second pair of these in the Folkstone Grey color and they are actually a tad smaller than the Peacock Blue pair I already have. I had a little extra room in the first pair, so I might like these even more than the first. Just wanted to pass on that there may be some slight size variance between colors.

I've loved the Wave Rider for MANY years, but there were a couple versions I just couldn't wear because they changed too much. That is definitely NOT this case with this one! It seems to be a shorter shoe, as others have mentioned, but the knit gives some and the sole is still its sturdy self! A very welcomed change to the Wave Rider for runners who prefer a tighter fit to their shoe.

I love Mizuno... I mean love them. My feet are not my best feature and hurt all the time. These shoes give me a spring back in my step I never thought I'd get back. I recommend these for anyone.

Love 'em. I'm a bigger gal, and needed a well cushioned shoe to prevent injuries and to baby my back and knees. I like to switch between these and the Hoka One Ones. The cushioning is superior, and the fit is perfect right out of the box. I prefer wearing these over the Hokas because they are lighter and springier. I've tried wearing just one pair, but I end up with twinges and pains in my knees, hips and feet. Switching works slightly different muscles, and keeps my legs feeling fresh. I would wear ugly shoes if I had to, in order to get good cushioning, but thanks to Mizuno I don't. They always have a great selection of colors to choose from, and Zappos always has my size. I do size up 1 size with these, but only because I walk/jog in them.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka one one

I bought these for sole purpose of walking and wearing at work, not for running. I have somewhat flat feet and tend to protonate when I run so I need more ankle support so for running I wear the wave inspire. These are for more neutral feet but still provides decent ankle support. The knit style is a lot slicker than their normal shoes. Keep in mind that Mizunos run small. I wear 7.5 in mizunos while my normal shoe size is 6.5

I literally made it 10 minutes into my running treadmill workout before my feet were in severe pain. I usually run in Brooks Glycerin, but thought I would try these due to the great reviews. I guess I will be going back to them.

These are my third pair of Mizunos for running - they last a long time and I have fewer issues with shin splints and blisters than with running shoes i used to buy. I bought a full size bigger than my street shoe size. I probably could have ordered just a half size up - but i recommend sizing up at least 1/2 size. I really like the wave rider.

Mizuno never fails to impress me. The fit, the style, the durability are always up to par! Love the red, white, and blue ('merica)! :)

I am in the process of finding good shoes because I stand/walk all day and have bad back, hip and knee pain. I love these shoes. As soon as I put them on i realized that I had been buyinng the wrong type for years. I am underpronation and hadn't known that unitl recently and found Zappos and am discovering my choices. I tried, Asic, Brooks and New Balance, these were to me above those. I recomend highly these. I am leaving a review because the reviews have helped me a lot so thanks to those who left them! Love Zappos!!! :-)

I road-run 15-20 miles/wk these are great. Just wish they'd make more non-Easter looking colors for women & not just grey & black...

After trying at least 10 pairs of shoes, these were the most comfortable I’ve worn in years! I have high arches and need a bit more width in the toe box and then feel great. I’ll definitely buy another pair.

I love these shoes! Mizunos are great shoes anyway, and I have been wearing the Wave Rider for a while. The Wave Rider Knit is even better! This shoe is shorter than the regular Wave Rider and I was afraid it was too snug. I tried a half size larger but sent that one back and kept my usual size. Even though my toe is very close to the end, it is not a problem because of the knit; they are extremely comfortable. I got them in pink and they are beautiful; I wish they made them in some other interesting colors.

I'm very happy with these shoes. Mizunos seem to fit my feet very well for some reason, and my experience has been that they are well made. The only reason I didn't give the style 5 stars is that the gray has a purplish hue to it and I would prefer that the shoes were truly gray. They feel great though.

So far so good with these running shoes. Bought them to train for a marathon and they feel great, even on my long runs. Plenty of support for me for road running. As far as fit goes, I'm a size 10 in my everyday shoes and the 11's fit perfectly. Also, I agree with the other reviewer that the grey color has a purplish-tint. Doesn't bother me, but just wanted to note.

I really love these shoes, especially the design. The shoes are so comfortable and soft, but I feel it is pricy. After all, this is last year's style.
