It is pretty good shoe; I just found a style I liked better. Also my feet roll out; would have liked less arch.

These have a bit more give than the regular Wave Rider, due to the knit upper. They are a fantastic neutral shoe and really good looking! Highly recommend them to any current or future Mizuno fan!

I should have followed the advice of others and ordered a half size up. I originally ordered an 8 and they were too small. I have another pair of Mizuno running shoes in an 8 and they fit perfect so I figured I had the inside scoop. I was wrong. The 8.5 in these shoes fit like an 8. Overall 4 stars because the laces are too short to tie when wearing as a relaxed fit in between work outs. I did an OTF class and these shoes held up great during the power day. Would purchase again (but half a size up).

I received these yesterday, but I had to send them back. They are about a half size too small. I did reorder them though because they were super cute and super comfy! I hope the bigger size works for me!

I only buy Mizunos. I have the original/first version of the Waveknit (the last two years of Peachtree). These run small in comparison - lengthwise. They also run small in comparison to Wave Riders. They do stretch out and form to the foot so it eventually works - just takes some breaking in. They are much, much smaller than the Wave Inspires and Creations - length and of course width for these different styles. On the pro side; the waveknit allows for better foot control and its forming nature supports the foot while allowing for some flexibility. It takes a several wears to get them where you want them. Thin socks that do not bunch help or simply size up.

Great looking shoe. But a half size smaller than the regular Wave Rider 22. Sending it back.

I thought these sneakers would fit me ( I often wear Brooks Adreneline) but they were too tight across the bridge of my foot. They were pretty and fit in the heel perfectly, but if you have a wide foot in the front they may not fit.

I’m crushed! These are absolutely beautiful! I got the pink but my big toes rubs on the end. My other Mizunos have always been spot on 9’s. Unfortunately they are going back. But thanks to Zappos returns are not an issue!

I am a city dweller and walk everywhere. I was in need of a new pair of sneakers that would be beneficial for under pronation and high arches, and this brand and style were highly recommended. I love the look of these sneakers and they are cushioned, but they did not provide any arch support for me. When I first wore them, the arches in my feet would hurt, but I thought it was my feet getting used to new sneakers. A few months later, I got to the point where I cannot wear them. They are probably a better fit for someone who does not have high arches.

I really wanted these shoes to fit my feet. The Wave Rider 22 felt extremely small and narrower than I expected. The arch support was not bad at all and I did like that they were light and cushiony. If you want to try these out, I would recommend getting at least 1/2 to 1 size bigger than you normally wear. The pink color is beautiful!

I returned these unfortunately because I love the color but the knots are too loose feeling on top of my foot I like more fitted feel.

I have the Wave Rider 22 and love them. I expected the Wave Rider 22 Knit to fit the same and wanted the "knit" version for everyday wear. I have a narrow foot, narrow heal, and very high instep - a difficult combination but the regular Wave Riders are perfect. For some reason, the knit version did not accommodate the high instep. By the time I loosened the laces enough to fit over the top of my foot, there was barely enough lace left to tie. I even ordered a second pair a half size up to see if that would help, but it did not. So back they go. I'm trying the Brooks Dyad 10 next.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks, Saucony

The Mizuno Wave Rider 22 knit - I wore it around the house and it just does not fit my foot correctly. Not a comfortable shoe for my foot. Can I return them? Thanks Zappos for your helpful service!

The wave Rider 22 KNIT runs smaller and narrower than the Wave Rider 22. The Logo on the side is stamped on instead of being appliqued like the Wave Runner 20. This manufacturer is making, overall, a lesser quality shoe than they did two years ago. This is very disappointing.

Very disappointed in this version of the Wave Rider. I have purchased previous revisions and had no issue with the size I have purchased in the past. As other reviewers commented, the toe box was smaller than previous revisions. It became very apparent after a five mile walk. They are being returned. Too bad as I really liked the colors (pink & navy blue).

I bought this shoe thinking I was getting the white and red version of it. When I got it and opened the box, I saw one on red and white and the other one blue and white. So I thought it was a mistake they made when boxing the shoes. Than I started realizing it could be that way. I checked on Mizuno's website and didn't see any description about it, just on the videos I saw the model using it in two colors, but still, it could be just to show the options we have. So I went to another websites to read the reviews and found out it really has different colors on each foot. I love the design and colors, but I defined can't wear it that way. Is too much for me. So I sent Mizuno an e-mail asking to start a return process and they quickly answered me, but told they can not pay for the return since it wasn't their fault. I really think it's Mizuno's fault because they are not clear on the description of the product. I hope they can go around sending me a return label.

These were made terrible. Way too much fabric in the toe box. Had to pay to ship them back.

Ouch. These run like Nike's which always make my toes numb. I can only go 3 miles before I have severe forefoot pain.
I'm going back to my Brooks Ghosts or Hoka One One Cliftons.

The Mizuno wave rider has been my go-to running shoe for years. This 'knit' version was something new so I decided to try it. It didn't seem that the 'knit' material added anything to the shoe, certainly nothing that would warrant paying the extra money for it. They actually seemed a little heavier than the non-knit version. The fatal flaw for me, though, and the reason I returned this pair, was that the flat ribbon-type shoelaces were so short that I actually could not tie them! Absurd!!! When I measured the laces against an earlier model (wave rider 20), these laces were a full 7 inches shorter. It seems that Mizuno has found a way to add a few cents profit by cheaping out on this low-tech but essential component. Bad idea.
