This boot is very comfortable, but it has a design flaw that was a deal breaker for me. There is excess material at the inner side walls that flops down and looks strange when wearing the boot. It looks fine without a foot in it. I'm supposing they had to make it that way so you could get get the boot on and off without a zipper. I'm sending them back and will search for a zippered boot to replace my beloved De La Vina boots that Teva stopped making.

I am a 9.5 and found them to be too big. The Borns were more lightweight than the Ariat Chelsea boots I tried. Although, I thought the Ariat styling was better. I've already worn them several times, otherwise I would return for a smaller size.

These are beautiful boots but they do not fit at all. Really small and tight. Sometimes with Born I go up a half size, but usually I wear an 8. These felt like a 7. Sadly returning because I really like these.

Rubbed my ankles.

Really lovely boots, nice support, but, too short/felt too small. Will return.

I have three other pairs of Born boots I have been a loyal customer for many, many years. These boots were very disappointing. The leather was hard not as supple as the other pairs that I own. They had no flexibility and killed my feet.

Too wide overall and looked too wide as well.

After several trials with different socks one boot was always bigger than the other. Could not walk in them. Born always worked well for me but these are different. Sadly need to return.

10 fits me in other Borns. The bigger problem is that the loop that pulls the shoe on in back was ripped off, and the outer insides of the boots were scuffed.

The look was very clunky.

Too big, clunky and very heavy

Great boots. Like the style but they are very difficult to get on. They are pull on style. They just felt too unwieldy to get on and off easily.

These look nice, but they were hard to get on and too tight. Probably OK for someone with a narrower foot. Sadly, they must be returned.

Very attractive boots. I have wide toes, though, and these were much too narrow in the toe box. Gorgeous, though, so if they had fit they would have been a slam dunk.

I wanted to love these boots! They are stylish and look great with work outfits or with jeans. I wore them a couple of times and although they were comfortable at first, my socks were bunching down at my toes within an hour of wearing. I tried a longer, knee sock pair but there was just more sock to gather at my toes. I spent my workday stopping to a place to take off my boots and pull up my socks. I am hoping I can arrange to exchange them. I should have read the reviews more thoroughly before buying.

I just got these boots and was disappointed to find that they are a very small size 6. To be fair, I do have wider feet. The heel area is very tight and the boots feel narrow throughout. I am sad because they are very cute. I don't think sizing up would affect the width so I will have to return these. If you don't have wide feet, I'd definitely recommend these boots.

These are cute and I love the material (not shiny). Unfortunately, I have a wide foot with an arch and I can't get them on my feet without a struggle. I bought them as an everyday winter boot and with the difficulty of getting them on I would not wear them.

Wanted to love these so much, but it’s true about the sock slide. I even tried with my husbands socks that have better quality elastic and I could feel them pulling the socks down even just walking around the house to try them on. ?

A little too wide, even with insole. Love the style. Trying 1/2 size smaller.

I ordered these boots in black suede. I was looking for waterproof boots with a rubber sole that I could wear with jeans or leggings. The shoes felt good in the foot and toebox, but the top hit my calf at an uncomfortable spot. I could already tell I was going to have a blister or bruise on both legs. Also, the rubber sole is textured on the sides - almost like it's supposed to be fake wood grain? I'm not sure why they made this design choice, but I think it makes the boots look cheap.

Sock Eater!

Fit and size ok, a little tight with socks. Material is a bit stiff, especially around the ankle making them uncomfortable to wear. Sadly, have to return.

These beauties run very Large and wide! Love the suede color, lite weight, great style … order down a size! I returned. No other sizes available.?

Fit, feel and look were more work boot than fashion boot. Would be an excellent purchase if you need something for sludging through lots of winter.
