They felt good in the width, but felt a full size too long. Looked like a well-made boot and big surprise, they were so easy to get on and off! However, if I compare the quality of the leather to the Blundstone boots that I had to return because they were ridiculously (almost impossible) to get on or off, they weren't even comparable. Blundstone is the winner, hands down for workmanship, quality of leather, imbedded steel shank and good looks. But, you gotta be able to put the darned boots on if you're going to wear them! I have a high insole and a high arch and both boots were comfortable when on my feet. I'm still looking for that perfect, everyday boot...

I bought the black suede ones for colder weather. They look great with cropped pants and jeans -- they're versatile. They're a little on the heavier side compared to other boots, but not a reason to not keep them. They're easy to get on and off. I like that the shaft part is more narrow to my ankle, so it doesn't look clunky. They're very comfortable though I have high arches so my foot does not align with the curvature of the soles.

I ordered up by 1/2 size & these were tooo large. Style is classic. They appeared very well constructed with a good solid lug sole.

Overall, I’m happy with these boots. I have a small foot and these feel like they look big on my feet. But I like that I’m able to wear them to work.

My issues with these boots were my fault. Since the size I requested was sold out, I tried a half size lower -- the size I've been wearing for most of my life and which I still wear in certain brands. This was a mistake. The boots were too narrow, too shallow in the toe box, and too short. I returned them.

Fit was ok (I'm an average size 8) but these boots were uncomfortable on my foot. I do have plantar fasciitis and I could tell wearing them for only a few minutes in the house that they would cause a flare up.

The fit was comfortable--nice amount of room for the toes. I also like the comfort of the sole when I walked in them. My problem was just with the styling--these were a little clunkier looking than I wanted.

When I first put them on and walked around I was really happy with them, as they are very comfortable. Unfortunately, like another review, the boot kept pulling my socks down, almost to the toe. I have never had that happen in a shoe before. When you pull your foot out the insole comes out too. Not that big of a deal, but I did send them back as I plan on walking a lot in them and I can't be stopping every 30 minutes to fix my socks.

Super nice, well worth the money, I got the gray suede. Love the color! Happy I didn’t get the traditional black. I marked it down one star because of the insoles coming out every time I take them off. I can look past it, but I’ll admit it’s annoying.

I was looking for a pair of black waterproof ankle boots with some traction. My feet have widened since I had a baby and the other three pairs I ordered were way too small in the toe box. These are plenty roomy for me to be comfortable and the slight heel helps my heel pain from prolonged standing/walking. Like other reviewers said the insoles tend to pop out when I take them off but I can handle that. They are nice looking but perhaps not the most stylish... but comfort trumped fashion in this case. Looking forward to nice warm dry feet this winter!

These run true to size. Don't listen to reviews that say size up -- I did and ordered a half size larger than usual and it was half a size too big. And now the correct size is sold out. Bummer because it is a very, very comfortable boot and rarely do I find a boot that is even possibly a contender for being both comfortable and good looking. Has nice flexibility, suede is soft, very good quality for the price. A great boot if you need a soft, flexible landing. The grey color is lovely.

Wish there was a little more arch support, as I need a lot of it. But it is cushy and there was more support than other brands of similar styles that I tried (Sorrel, Flexx, Vivonic, Fly). I do have narrow feet, so my heel popped out a little more than desired. I got a 7, even though I'm more of a 7.5 as I plan to wear with spring/fall socks and not thick socks.

I really wanted to love these because they are so gorgeous, but they were just too narrow for my feet and they don't come in a wide size. I normally wear a 6.5W, so I ordered a 6.5, found it too small, tried a 7, still too small (especially in the sides of the foot/bridge), then sized all the way up to a 7.5 which was comically too large (I felt like a duck). So sadly I concluded that it had been the width, not the length, that was a problem with the size 7. If these came in wide sizes they would have been my perfect boot but unfortunately the quest continues.

I like the way the boots look, but they were difficult to get on and actually painful to get off. I have a high instep and these boots have little give so that may have been the issue. However, the stylish look couldn't compensate for the fit and I had to return them.

I like the way the shoes looked and felt once on. However, in my normal size, they were difficult to get on and painful to take off. I have a high instep so maybe that was the cause, but I couldn't conceive of trying to wear them.

Big almost sloppy fit

These were cute and comfortable. Which is what I strive to find in a shoe. HOWEVER, these were not waterproof. The first time I wore them in the rain, my feet got wet. Ugh. MOST of the reviews I read said that they were waterproof. One review said they were not. I should have listened to THAT review!

Wanted to like this boot but it was way too narrow, and I have "normal" width feet.

I loved these boots but they made my socks slip in the boots. I tried buying new socks but it wasn't them. It was the boots. Bummer because I really liked the boots.

Boots are cute and comfortable but Sock Eaters!! If this is a problem for you stay clear.

I am a big fan and buyer of Born Shoes. I wanted to love these, but they didn't work for me. They didn't have the usual Born quality. The shoe was brand new but just looked and felt used. The Cove was a return for me.

I've tried this boot in two different sizes and it is just not comfortable. Thank you and sorry..

I couldn’t really evaluate the boot comfort because I couldn’t get my high arch foot into the boot. The boot seems to be well made and is a good looking boot.
