Nice overall. I am keeping them but they are made of pretty cheap feeling material and $169 seemed like a high price. However, they look and feel good.

a little big but I kept them. good arch support. really nice shoes.

Love the look but need to size up 1/2 to a full size. Otherwise they're really comfortable

Fit was true to size. However, the color was much darker than pictured, more of a brown. Returned for this reason, I already own TAOS BROWN SHOES.

Love Taos boots and sandals in general but was very disappointed that this shoe was so narrow. Also wasn't wild about the white sole, felt it would get dirty very fast.

I wear a 7M with no foot problems nor trouble getting a good fit. These cute, trendy shoes were true to size, but without a speck of extra room. The zipper made them easy on/off. They were just adequate for comfort. In searching for a metallic pewter sneaker, I found the dark gray color to be just what I wanted, but I would have liked a little more gleam and shimmer. I liked them but didn't love them enough to justify the high price. Back they went.

The shoe was smaller than most size 8 and was not comfortable. It was hard to zip up the side.

This show is so cute and pretty comfortable. I had a hard time zipping the shoes up. I have wide feet, but because they are leather, I feel they will stretch, so need need to return.

These looked like clown shoes on me! I am a true 8.5 in other shoes and sometimes even a 9, but these gave me a 1/2" extra in the toe bed and that translated to CLOWN feet. Ugh. I sent them back and ordered an 8. Otherwise, I do like this style...

I have to explain “true to size”. I have a lot of Taos shoes & many are a size too small so I always order up 1 size. I did with these & fit great.

This is a beautiful shoe. Unfortunately it didn't provide the ankle support where I needed it for my recovering tibial fracture. Reebok hi tops are only ones I've found that come up high enough at ankle, and provide support and comfort. I hate to send them back, but can't use them at this time. I also had trouble manipulating the zipper.

I ordered these and another Taos high top, these fit larger while the other pair fit smaller. I'm not sure why the inconsistency but I may send these back because they don't fit well on my heel area. I'm normally a 6.5-7 and I got a 7 based on reviews but I think a 6.5 would be too small. Overall weird fit. They don't look worth the price to me. Seems like the quality I could find at a lower end mall store.

These are so cute and cool! The best part about them is the zipper!! I have a disability that can make tying my shoes tricky and uncomfortable, but these were easy to get in and out of, and to adjust when I needed to using the laces. The leather construction is good. These feel like they have a smidge more arch support than the other models, but it could also be because I've worn my other pairs nearly flat. These are super-stylish!

From the arch to the heel, these inserts are the best I've encountered in shoes. Not sure why the ball if the foot was left out on the hard and hardly padded cold. But since I have a low volume foot, I'm used to hacking together something to ensure a good fit. Cute shoes, could accommodate a wide medium foot. I think they run a tiny bit long. Nevertheless, keepers.

I am on a quest for a casual sneaker that I can wear with jeans or leggings that will not bother my PT tendonitis. These shoes are super cute! Kind of retro and did have nice arch support but overall were not too supportive. Also I need my toes to be lower than my heel and that did not happen with this shoe, so sadly they were returned and the quest continues!

I tried the 9 and they were way too narrow. I tried the 9.5 and they were much longer, but not too much wider. I loosened the laces up a lot and just deal with the length because I love how the shoes look. They are cute and comfortable enough. Taos support always seems to hit me in an odd spot in my arch. Overall, a decent shoe that is adorable!

I loved these shoes at first. But, with a C width many of Taos shoes require a Wide. It didn’t work to go one size up for these as then they are too long and don’t fit properly. I appreciate Taos shoes, but please provide more Wide with shoes and especially high tops as for us ladies that have torn ankle ligaments, we need extra support to help. Anyway, these shoes did help me discover the absolute need to have shoes that have straps, or lace up to a certain height on the foot to maintain the needed stability. The arch support seemed to be excellent and ended up being too much. I have custom orthotics for arch support.

These shoes were super cute, and I wanted to keep them, but they just did not fit. The toe box seemed narrow even though there was plenty of length. I do not wear a wide width shoe, but I do have a slightly wider foot. The leather was soft, and the cuff around the ankle was very comfortable. These would be great for narrow feet.

The left shoe fit fine. However, the right insole, was curved oddly on the outside so it felt very uncomfortable. Had to return.

I could not really judge the fit because I COULD NOT CLOSE THE ZIPPER when it was on my foot!!! I was so excited to find a quality sneaker which would be easy to get on a foot which had once been broken. I am not exchanging because i notice (too late) that others had same zipper issue with other versions of this shoe. So disappointed.

I LOVE these shoes! So sad they don't fit well. Other Taos shoes in same size are good for me.

First of all I was disappointed with the color as it looked much darker than I expected. I was surprised that the inside bits looked very unfinished as this wasn't a cheap shoe. Zipping it up involved folding and pushing and I think the top of my foot must be rather high as it wasn't easy to close the zips. Anyway I sent them right back and next time I may try Hoka. Zappos is wonderful as so easy and quick to order and also very easy to return.
