I got them as a Christmas present from my husband. He looked on line 3x a day to get the 9 that were always out of stock! They came 2 days be4 Xmas & I was so excited to get them! I couldn't get them on my left foot! Squeezed my right foot in! SO TIGHT! These definitely run SMALL! I'm normally an 8.5- 9. In boots always a 9! I'm going to return & get the 10!!! Only because I couldn't get my foot thru the short shaft to bend into the foot part!!! And that was after I unbuckled the decorative belt around the ankle! I would have given 5 , had they fit!! I can't wait to get the 10, but a little worried bc ive never worn a 10 I feel like 9.5 won't be big enough based on the way the 9 barely fit my right foot. Fingers crossed!

I love the Veronica ankle boot! The shape and rugged look is very appealing to me. I like a round or square toe boot. The picture of the Veronica was a little deceiving. It appears to be rounded at the toe but is actually more almond shaped than round. I was looking for the toe shape of the "Engineer" but not that rubber heel. Also this boot runs LARGE. I am a 6.5 in every shoe; I could not keep this boot from slipping off the heel and no it never got to the point of molding to my heel. The 6.5 Veronica is just too large for my foot . I will have to exchange for a 6 I'm afraid and hope that the narrowness if the boot won't make the 6 too tight. I've wanted a pair of Frye boots for 25 years so needless to say was disappointed when mine came and didn't fit well.

I've been eyeing these for a while, and I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger. I'm typically an 8.5 in shoes. I have .... a lot... of Frye boots, and like most of them, they are true to size (I bought an 8.5). Yes, they are snug when they are brand new, but that's the joy of true leather boots- they will mold to your feet! Yes, they are also expensive, but with appropriate care they will literally last forever. I took one star off because the "redwood" color is very close to cognac, I thought it would be a bit redder. But they are still beautiful!

I just received these today and they are beautifu and the length is perfect but my heel slips allot!! Did anyone else have this problem and does it get worse or better?

Santa brought these to me in my usual Frye boot size but they were too big for me. :( Need to size down at least a half size. The boot itself is beautiful though. The leather is so soft and the color (with the brushed white) is gorgeous.

Give yourself time to break these in. I am a size 7.5 and ordered a 7.5. They are exactly what I was looking for. The color is lovely. I used a leather cream protector on them. Only thing is, for the price, I wish there was more sole cusion, but I can wear these for hours with no problem and they keep my feet warm.

I love the them, be patient, it takes Few weeks to wear them in.

The color of this boot is out of my comfort zone, but its buttery tan look is fabulous. The white waxy highlights are really cool. Pairing these with jeans with a just-right cuff, perhaps using a sock peeking out will serve me well. I gave it a four as for me, the boots are a tad heavy. I'm an older women and the Doc Martin heaviness doesn't work for me anymore.

Honestly unsure of all the other bad reviews. I had to size up on these and it wasnt an issue with exchanging. So, size up. . some Frye boots are just smaller than others, and Ive found in general their stuff runs small. However, these are my favorite pair of boots I go to for looking slightly more polished when running around town. Ive owned them for a few years now and holding up great

I bought a pair of Frye ankle boots during Covid. One shoe didnt fit because it was way too small & the other one was tight. I felt the shoes were a second, meaning they werent made properly. Ive never been able to wear them. Of course, I was really disappointed & felt taken advantage of. After reading many unhappy reviews, Im hesitant to purchase online. I see my experience isnt unique. Im going try to purchase online one more time. I pray I have good luck this time.
