The sizing is confusing but the shoes fit great with the right size and made is so much easier for my daughter to put on her own shoes over her leg and feet braces.

These are SO much cuter than I thought they’d be! My 4 year old who LOVES bling picked them out and they’re even cuter in-person and I love how easy they are to get on and off with the zip! What a genius idea. My only gripe which is why I’m giving 4 stars: the laces are impossible to stay tied. I don’t know what material they used but they literally don’t stay tied. We triple knot them and by the time I’ve finished tying the second, the first shoe is already untied. I think I’m going to have to buy shoelace clips.
They’re pretty heavy, too so might not be appropriate for early walkers. But overall we love them and assuming we can figure out the laces, would absolutely buy again.

We LOVE these shoes. We share our experience with everyone! We find that they are a smidge narrow although about the fourth toe on each foot. Might just be our little toes, but since we are on our second pair, it is hard to say. Keep up the great work. Awesome style and amazing delivery time!

I have 2 special needs children who are unable to dress themselves. Thanks to Billy shoes they are now able to help put their shoes on! We have ordered 3 pairs already and will be ordering 2 more in August!

My daughter wears AFOs, so it's always a challenge finding shoes that fit her. Finding ones that she also likes is like looking for a needle in a haystack. But she LOVES LOVES LOVES her Billy high-tops! She always gets compliments on her bright pink, sparkly shoes. They also make her transfers, dressing, and ambulation much much easier because they fit just right (the laces make them adjustable) and are easy to get on and off. Our only wish would be that they could be a bit more durable. There are worn spots on one sole and on the side of another near the ankle. Hatchback shoes are more durable, but these are a better price (particularly for kids shoes, which they outgrow so quickly) and MUCH more stylish. Highly recommended, especially for kids with orthotics!

I've always had good dealings with Zappos and I read some reviews on these Billys about being clear returns with quality control not happening before they go back out. I thought no way, but here I am. The shoe lace tip was torn off (and pulled out so can't string it through) Since these were on backorder once, and the shoelaces are not functional, I will deal with it and hope I can get a replacement set of shoelaces so I can lace them up proper with a matching blue. At least both shoes were the same size.

Billy was very helpful with my sizing questions. These fit over her AFOs wonderfully. They do wear down where the ankle braces rub against the shoe pretty quickly, but it hasn't affected the integrity of the shoe. We are looking forward to the AFO models this year!

These shoes are great . Easy to get them on with my daughter braces. Plus 6he design is great as well. I will definitely be ordering more. On thing i would do is maybe add a button or snap on there so kids cant take them off so easily.

I ordered the pink high tops for my daughter who's in a wheelchair. With her AFOs on, she is an 11, so I ordered the kids 11 and they fit perfect. Only thing I dislike is that the footbed is a little too high so her toes are really close to the zippered edge. I had to take the cushion out to give her a little wiggle room. Other than that, they are perfect. Her right foot used to come out of her shoe in regular shoes, but not in the high tops. She loves them and they are so adorable and fashionable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with AFOs!

My daughter liked the zipper that goes all the way around to the other side ("cool"!). The size 5 was too big and size 4 too small. Wish there were half sizes. Decided to keep this and grow into them...

The zipper on this shoe broke on Day 1 of wearing them. Purchased for my Granddaughter who currently wears AFO braces and as we purchased multiple pairs since placing the order for school, yesterday was the first day she wore them and when putting them on for the very 1st time, the zipper broke.

I have purchased numerous pairs of Billy's shoes. I love the appearance of these shoes, however my daughter wore a hole thru the canvas on the back of the shoe the size of a quarter. Disappointed that these did not last like others in the past.

my kid wears braces so they had to fit inside the shoe. we succeeded on width but had to live with too much length
it would help a lot if the shoes also came in wide
the side zipper definitely what we were looking for, special needs user
the material ok for now, but would also help a lot if they came on firmer material to provide more ankle support
My girl would like you to offer the bootie on mint and lavender colors!

My daughter wears afos and i heard about how great these shoes are. She loved the color but unfortunately they didn't wear well for her. They have very little support in the ankles so I ended up returning them. We're going to stick with nike flyease.
