These are perfect shoes for my son to wear with his orthotics. The zip access makes taking these shoes on/off so easy, no more struggling to maneuver bulky orthotics into shoes that have limited openings. These are incredible! So many compliments on these shoes..they look great. Would love to see half sizes in the future.

These shoes are an answer to prayer. We have been searching for a good shoe to fit my sons AFO's and until now have had to just buy a size up in sneaker, and we had to replace them every month because the braces were them down. These shoes are wonderful! He has a little difficulty figuring out how to put them on, but I believe that will come with time. Thank you so much for developing a shoe for kids like my guy!

I am over-the-moon happy with these! My daughter (10 years old) wears 2 different orthotics. She wears AFOs and an outer bracing. These together make finding cute shoes almost IMPOSSIBLE! We've had to buy extra wide shoes that were normally running shoe style and even then it was hard to get on and nothing high-top would fit. One day I was looking online to show my daughter that shoes made for AFOs were generally very expensive and not cute....the search started as I thought but then suddenly Zappos Billy Footwear came up. I use Zappos all the time so I thought it strange. I clicked on the link and voila! I read the description and other reviews that mentioned them being used with AFOs and held my breath as I ordered and waited for them to arrive. I couldn't be happier, they exceeding my expectations and were a very reasonable price! (funny thing is that 2 days after ordering them I had 3 other people mention them to me because they'd seen them online!) I hope they begin to make adult sizes in the near future!

I’m giving 5 stars because we are fans of Billy shoes now, just now this particular pair. These were too small, but most likely fit true to size. We ordered two sizes due to my daughter never having Billys before. We planned to send the pair that did not fit back. Thankfully, this was the pair that did not fit. These shoes were obviously worn. It was noticeable as soon as I opened the box.

I love this shoes so much! Not being able to feel my feet it’s great that I can see EXACTLY where my toes and feet are in the shoes. And they’re stylish! Which is so hard to find with shoes that fit my small feet. Plus, they give me independence since I can put them on completely by myself. Thank You Billy!

These shoes work great for people who wear AFOs. They're a lot more stylish than other shoes made for orthotics. My daughter wore these shoes every day for 4 months, and they have completely worn a hole in the bottom of one and the other isn't too far from also having a hole. There are also spots on the sides of the shoes where her orthotics have repeatedly rubbed (this is not uncommon for her shoes, so it wasn't a shock to me). I do wish they had lasted a bit longer than 4 months though, which is why I only gave 4 stars. We've already bought a replacement pair, and are also looking to get her some of the BILLY boots.

Feel the high top shoes are a blessing, but in order for the zipper to close had to get a size larger and so has plenty room in the toe area. Same size in low rise wouldn't even close. Shoes need to be wider and feel that should have been the first consideration in developing the shoes. Don't see any arch support but she has arch support in her orthotics. Really like the zipper concept-very good idea but feel a few things could be improved.

Good fit. Easy on at off for my 5 year old entering Kindergarten! Really increased her independence in school with her shoes in a super stylish way, without having to go with Velcro!

my granddaughter wear AFO's. We thought we had found cute shoes for her, but alas! These will not fit over her AFO's. SO wish that they would! Having to return.

The fit and size was great. The shoes were recommended by my daughters physical therapist for her AFO braces. She doesn't walk yet however the material is horrible on this shoe; not good at all as both shoes have holes throughout the entire shoe. The fabric isn't of good quality. The concept and design is great; it was a great idea which eliminates needing to buy extra wide too big shoes to fit the AFO braces in to but the material isn't worth $10. I'm greatly disappointed. She only had the shoes for 2 1/2 months and again she doesn't walk! Zappos customer service is great as they offered to refund me my money or send a replacement pair.

We love our Billies! We've been wearing them since my daughter was a toddler and now she's almost 9 and still asks for them. Easy on and off, comfy and super cute high tops! Love that they're inclusive also!

The best, cutest, most adorable boots for my little niece. No one could tell they were made for kids with disabilities. She felt glamorous in these sweet, adorable, fashionable boots. They were super easy for her to get on and off. LOVE BILLY FOOTWEAR!
