Well. I can't even say how these fit because Frye didn't think it was important to make a shaft you can get your foot through. It's a beautiful boot and would be perfect for putting on a pedestal to behold. But if you need a pair of boots for walking purposes then forget this one. Seriously...why wouldn't Frye have put in a simple short zipper at the ankle. I know for a fact these would have been the correct size if I could have gotten my foot through the shaft because they measured up to my other Frye boots. Frye should pay Zappos for all the return shipping they must get for this boot. I feel awful for having to return them because they probably would have been perfect...Zappos is AWESOME!!!

I am returning my second pair and done with this boot. It was such a great price and my first pair of Fyre boots but both pairs were scraped up and the leather looked like it was coming apart on the first pair. I did some searching and found that Fyre boots in the black box are from China and not good quality. You want the boots in the white box. Huge bummer since I loved the look and price of these boots!

i wanted to love these shoes, but now i know why they were 70% off. I have a skinny leg and low arch, all the shoes fit me, but I couldn't even get my foot in these because of its low arch and no opening in the side. So dissapointed

I wanted to love these so bad!! But they were literally so small, specifically in the calves that I couldn't even get them on. I would say I have "normal" sized calves and there was no chance at all of pulling these boots on. The color and leather is absolutely beautiful, but you'd have to have rail-sized calves to get these boots on. Would love to see these made with a bigger shaft circumference...
